SRL Archive - Who Are You ? Who ? Who ?

Hey all. I did not see the introduction section but now that I do Id like to start off by saying I go by Jay. I'm 23 years old and have been playing Runescape for well over 10 years on and off. I found the game originally on a website called "Arcadepod.com" and it was the #1 rated MMORPG at the time. At first, my shitty computer would not play the game, but I tried again months later and instantly fell in love. The medieval theme caught my attention as I'd always been into that kind of stuff, and the nature of the game kept me begging for more.





It wasn't too long after that I found out how to cheat. I think the first bot I used was SlaveIT or Sbot or Tbot. Something I found off of Reinet. One of those old classic bots that needed an OCR because of the fatigue counter. I botted heavy on my main and was never banned using those. Then RS2 came along and Aryan took over (or was it nexus?) and kept me botting heavy. I'm have been using the scripts on this forum and just want to say thanks, they are awesome.




I do not really play the game, as much as I bot (I stopped playing in high school). I think I just like seeing all the skills and money I could never get as a noob in RSC. I just bot for fun, and every once in a while my brother and I will play just to relive old times. However, nothing will ever compare to those days! Something about watching the computer do the work for me is fascinating. I hope to one day write a script.

Welcome! I took the same road as you I believe. I started with sBot and then Nexus/iBot. And now here, just because I have an interest in scripting :)

Do you still have your old main or are you banned by now? ;)

Welcome Badldea, good to see another someone with a passion for botting ;) I definitely agree, it's nothing like the old days!

If you really want to write a script you should check out The Mayor's guides to scripting, you might find it easier than you think!

My original main (From Runescape classic, around 2002? About a year before they dropped scythes if that paints a better picture) is still up and running. I botted that account like crazy on classic. Never once saw a ban there. Of course now I have about 8 throwaway bot accounts, because I know the risks ;P! Only been banned a few times. I think 3 accounts total.
