So for completely irrelevant reasons, I cannot use SMART. The setup guide says that SMART is not necessary as long as my graphics settings are a certain way.

However, every public script I've seen attempts to initialize SMART, and this causes problems. How can I get the scripts to work without SMART?

Comment out the define smart at the top of the script.

And after doing that^ select the RS client (official .exe or browser client) with the crosshairs in Simba, shown below.

The downside of this is you will not be able to use your mouse or keyboard while the script runs, unless you use a virtual machine and minimize the whole thing.
