TwinkiTanner v3.0

Instructions and Setup

 • Install ogLib and SRL-6
 • All proper SRL-6 graphics settings, and make sure you're on OpenGL mode in the graphics settings
 • 10 crafting (Jack Oval will only tan custom hides after level 10 crafting)
 • 'OldSchool' Layout, with the chat box dragged down as far as possible, Zoom ALL the way out
 • Fill out the Script Config at the top
 • Setup either Bank Preset 1 or 2 for taking out hides
 • Start script in front of the Burthorpe Banker

About the Script
TwinkiTanner will tan hides in Burthorpe. You need level 10 crafting to use this script, since Jack Oval won't let you tan custom hides unless you have 10 crafting.

Changelog

Version 3.0
Complete Rewrite in OGL

Version 2.0
Added more accuracy to FindTheTwinki via Clustering (Thanks @slacky for the suggestion :P) Cleaned up the entire script of indention errors, and no longer needed code.

Version 1.8.5
Added in a new function, it just checks if the screen is frozen for an X number of seconds/ms. The script would try and look for Jack or the Banker when the screen was frozen or in a loading screen, hopefully this will fix that.

Version 1.8
Added even more stability

Version 1.7
Added some more stability for the FindBanker and FindJack functions, also added a very small antiban to the FindTheTwinki function, just to try and keep it a bit more random.

Version 1.6
Added a small script paint, Changed the SPS Walk Path for RunToJack. Added a bit more wait time to the Obj Finding function, for hopefully more stability

Downloads - V3.0+ = OGL, V2.0 and below = Color Only

Erm, i'm just going to take that first line in a positive way o.O. Although I honestly it does look a lot like Mayor's tutorial function, but I do understand how it works and what I can do with it. I kept trying to find a way to make it look different, but everytime I tried it looked just like TheMayor's. I do want to expand on it however, I did add something to it to look for the specific colors near a relative object with another specific color. I did look into clustering and that kind of thing, but it didn't seem to fit well for what I was going. I do want keep adding to it, I was thinking something like a Box and searching inside of it.

Thanks! I do appreciate the proggies.

I'll be testing this out tonight! Thank you for the release, I'll post a proggy.

Edit: Here's a better SPS array! [Point(166, 162), Point(162, 210), Point(138, 268)]

The script automatically stops when SPS positions your character over Oval. (This is for RunToJack) This SPS path will fix that while also speeding it up a bit.(Less points)

PS: Is it possible to randomize SPS similar to how Tbox randomizes a click within a certain zone? I guess you could set up a random case with a few different paths….Or maybe creating a random range for the middle cordinates which would eliminate any noticeable pattern besides the end cord, which if you really wanted to you could do a random case on with cords that don't break the script while also having failsafes…..I'm a complete nub to scripting, ignore my ramblings.

PSS: I noticed that you actually do have a failsafe for standing over Oval, however it doesn't work because you have Else; after end; instead of end else;…..I hope that's right, because I changed it and it's working now. :D

It's tanning around 1800Hides/hr now!

I'll update the SPS Walkpath with the one you provided.

Also it shouldn't really make a difference I believe if it's
end

Should do the same thing as
end else

This is correct - else should never have a semicolon after it. Things probably wouldn't even compile were you to do that. Normally, end should have a semicolon after it, but an operator that is followed by else always loses its semicolon.

Hello Twinki, I have noticed that the script can work for a long time, but it can unexpectedly stop finding Jack Oval and then terminate (all my settings were correct). Do you recommend DirectX or OpenGL?

I've noticed the same thing, working on more stability now. I use DirectX personally, but it's a fault with the script, not your settings. Should have another version out here soon, just doing a bit of testing.

EDIT: Updated
Version 1.7
Added some more stability for the FindBanker and FindJack functions, also added a very small antiban to the FindTheTwinki function, just to try and keep it a bit more random.

Hopefully this will mean more stability, thanks for the feedback, appreciate it :spot:

EDIT: Updated… again

Version 1.8.2
Added in a new function, it just checks if the screen is frozen for an X number of seconds/ms. The script would try and look for Jack or the Banker when the screen was frozen or in a loading screen, hopefully this will fix that.

If you can, go ahead and change DisableSRLDebug := true; at the bottom to DisableSRLDebug := false; and run it. When it gets stuck just paste what's in the debug here, this might be a SPS issue.

I am having a few problems running the script, how it orients the camera It has trouble actually finding Jack, I messed with the angle a little bit and it seems to work a bit better. It would also be great to be able to start anywhere along the path. If you dont have time or arent really interested in trying to change it to be able to do that I would love a few pointers showing me how to make that modification if it wouldnt be overly complicated.

EDIT: My bad, it was a new account and I didnt have the disable tips turned off, the window was covering jack and making it impossible to find him. Still curious about starting and stopping wherever along the path however

Thanks, that does bring me past it. I seem to run into a different bug after that however because after the scripts finds the banker without any problems, it clicks the preset 2 button which withdraws an inventory of cowhides. After doing so it then says: "We're either out of Leather or you didn't setup your Bank Preset correctly". Any idea what might be causing this?

I'd suggest checking your Interface settings and graphics settings, these are my GFX settings: http://i.gyazo.com/5d2ee3ebb7cc26865e764eb937452391.png There must be a problem with tabbackpack. detecting your inventory, which is most likely a problem with your interface settings.

You obviously did not understand my question. These people made 2 million off thousands of hides for like 3 hours.. If you bought them off grand exchange and then sold them as tanned hides how much money would a person make?

well, it depends on what you tan, if you take cowhides and tan them to hard leather you make a profit of about 120 coins per hide. the buying limit of cowhides is 10.000. 10.000x120=1,2M profit. That being said, you do need 2,5M to buy the initial 10.000 hides and when you're finished tanning all 10k of them you should be able to buy another 10k, I don't think the amount per timeframe limit lasts very long. I'm not sure what the profits are for dragonhides, those could be even higher so even when buying them from the GE you can still make a great profit. Farming all hides would simply take too long.

EDIT: I found out exactly what was making it work more consistently. I had two running at the same time and one was in DirectX and the other was in OpenGL. The one in OpenGL would fail every so often, while the one in DirectX seems to be working perfectly.

When I use this method to make money manually, I bring Energy Potions to keep my Character from running out of Energy. I use 1 Energy potion in the first inventory slot and the rest is D'hide Green for Preset. This makes it faster to tan lots of hides, no more walking!

Just a few suggestions:

Add a hotkey feature for Run Potions, you only need a drink or 2 a run, very inexpensive potions.

Sometimes, I don't know why but, when it opens the Bank it moves the mouse to Preset 1, would be faster to make the script press 1 to activate the preset.

Kinda slow at times when done walking, for example, walks to bank, sits 2 - 3 seconds, then clicks bank, might want to speed it up a bit, but clicks 100% accurate!

These are just suggestions :P Love this script.

Somehow deposits the first dragon leather from inventory into bank and then stops running.

Changed line 420 from

if not tabbackpack.isItemInSlot(1) then

if not tabbackpack.isItemInSlot(2) then

This theoretically should fix the problem, but I have just came up with this simple fix after trying to use several attempts to withdraw the preset without actually noticing what has gone wrong. Will update if something goes wrong. Will test this for few hours.

The rest is super! Nice job!

EDIT: Nope, still screws up… :( I have changed the withdraw option to use TypeSend and I bet that's what's causing the problem.

Why is your preset setup like that? It should be setup as a full inventory. There might be an error with the waiting after it withdraws. Might quickly push an update out with an actual timer on withdrawing, and maybe updating the DTM's/Colors.

My preset setup is okay, sometimes it runs for 2 hours without a single problem, like so

:D I guess some errors are bound to be, like not detecting the banker due to some players having the same colors… Unless you're searching in a certain area, not the whole screen etc.

And even though I switched back the preset withdraw method to the original, sometimes the same error comes up, even with full inventory.

The issue with the Banking area was there really wasn't any very unique colors to look for, but I tried my best. However if it's working decently now, then I guess i'll leave it as is. When I come back to scripting, i'll maybe release a 3.0 version of this, with more stability. I have worked on my Custom Obj Finding method a lot more, and I bet if I spend some time messing with different colors in the area I can make it a lot more accurate.

I'm not an advanced scripter or a scripter at all, but maybe you can use TPAs to search for a particular color in a specific area, that would help tons. But I guess you'd have to be really accurate on which tile to end up on when you're near the bank.

This also happens. Doesn't click the option correctly and GG.

Hey guys, noob here. When the script starts is opens up the bank then just sits there, saying it's waiting for the bank screen to load even though there is a bank screen there.

It's giving me this error:

ERROR: We ran out of time waiting for the Bank Screen to open

Quoting helps! I don't get notified of your reply else.

You can try re-choosing the "Old School" interface preset, as well as making sure your brightness is at 100% / max / very bright, and your interface transparency is at 0% / min / very opaque.

My character can't find the tanner, runs to the flag south of bank, and then says cannot find tanner and script starts after about two seconds. Would appreciate advice. Thanks

Version 1.6 Update:
Added a small script paint, Changed the SPS Walk Path for RunToJack. Added a bit more wait time to the Obj Finding function, for hopefully more stability

I'm not sure how much wait time there is for RunToJack. After the first point, about one second later, it doesn't even try to click on the next point, it just says cannot find Jack. I noticed in the script that there is five pathway points from Jack, back to the bank, but from the bank to Jack, there is only three points. I'm not sure how to create a pathway myself, but that could be the route of the problem. Suggestion: add increased wait time finding object + force some sort of click close to Jack, i.e. when it can't find the Gnome banker, it clicks on the bank icon, then tries to find the Gnome banker, I believe there are a few icons around Jack, could be worthy of adding ;) Cool script though, hope to get it working to make some $$$. I'm new to scripting as well :)

I'm guessing wait time function is: MarkerWaitTime?

Is it possible to make this work for Al Kharid tanner too? I am trying to make money off Royal Dragonhides, and Jack only tans standard cowhides.

Will it be hard to make? I think could easily just copy objects etc .

Thanking you!

Just so you know, this needs to be edited:

Var
HardLeatherDTM, GreenLeatherDTM, BlueLeatherDTM, RedLeatherDTM,
BlackLeatherDTM, RoyalLeatherDTM, TotalTannedLeather, scriptPaintBMP: Integer;
BotStatus: String;
scriptSMARTDebug: boolean;

This tanner only does HardLeather :)

TwinkiTanner v3.0 released.

Complete re-write in OGL using ogLib.

Let me know how well it performs, any issues you run into, etc..

V2.0 Uses Color Only, and I hear it still works. So if you'd like to use it, it's still available in OP.
