I would like to run a virtual machine with a network connection masked by a proxy, so websites can't see my IP address. Specifically so I can write scripts for RuneScape in a clean environment. I play RuneScape legitimately so I don't want jagex to be able to link my bot(s) to my legitimate account and compromise it.

I looked on google and havent found anything clear on how this would work.
