Been perusing the forums and I've found a few guides on botting on multiple accounts.

Just curious at to which methods you guys use. Do ya use a different proxy per account, or do you just man mode it and do everything on the same IP?

Generally its all on the same IP. Theres no evidence to show that Jagex bans by IP, but there is also no evidence to show that they do not.

Some people use VPS'es and VPNs and stuff, but meh.

They have said that they link accounts through trades, so if you do something like have 10 farming accounts that trade to another account that doesn't bot they could all be banned for goldfarming/RWT.

That's probably the best way to protect your accounts, don't have them interact with each other. (Or don't get caught ;))

Made about 30m so far farming a certain oldschool f2p material for about 2 weeks on 4 accounts. All running on a VPN and VMware. I have a collector account that always have the bots drop their findings and have the collector pick it up, and then I drop my collector's findings to my main. (I hope dropping isn't traceable, people have drop parties all the time, right?) Instead of dropping, I would have had the botters/collector go die somewhere and have the account loot it, but as of right now in oldschool, you cannot loot anyone's belongings, they just never show up.


Oh and only had about 3 bans spread about evenly across the 2 weeks, they all ran on SMART, all of the bans were on the botters, and run about 24/7 with maybe a max of 2 hour breaks whenever I feel like it.

I thought the entire point of botting was to get caught! This is news to me :p

I think ima just man mode it with Turpinator and see what happens XD

Yeah this is true, I remember them talking about the mechanics of items being dropped when they were discussing potential remedies for the issue of players ddosing the server in order to get loot from players doing high level pvm.

Just a bunch of SMARTs on my personal computer. No fancy VPS/proxies/whatever. Never had any issues, other than added computer lag for every account running. Then again, the scripts I use are private and fairly unique, running on near-maxed accounts.

No. The only issue I have like that is at launch in the lobby. As soon as I click a favorite world about 1:15 clients crash, but the script didn't do it. It's a java problem I think.

No, it's not a script issue. I could probably stand to update Java but I have everything running so smooth and perfect atm that I can deal with a couple crashes a day.

I know. My point was just that the issue isn't tied to any particular script, so which script it is isn't really relevant.

But no, it's not dragon killer, it's herblore.

I have 2 accounts superheating runite bars and one doing mud runes. However, I don't like to keep lots of wealth on my superheater accounts due to being banned for it and losing 200m, so I have to restock every 2 hours and also buy coal with my mules because of the 25k/4h limit. The other one can crash randomly and I have to be there to restart it. I'm thinking about other methods though, some that don't require such attention.

Depending on what you use them for, VPS are great.

Party room, make sure nobody crashes you. Use an empty world.

When using multiple accounts with the same script, do you just open a new tab in simba and put:
playerName = ['botter1','botter2']; and they will both run sweet or what?

Provided the script handles multiplayer, yes.

You could try staking? I've heard a lot of big goldfarmers that would just stake the money in increments that made it look like they were trying to win it back whereas they were just losing. Do like 10m: 40m : 100m etc etc

how hard is it for people to impliment multiplayers? Is there a tutorial for it on these forums?
