Hiya,
During (a part of) my Christmas I've updated the FPC and Lazarus versions on the Simba Buildbot for "Continous Integration". We used to be on an old development (but mostly stable) release of FPC 2.6.1 (basically 2.6.2 but with less bugs fixed).
So the current 'master' (Simba 1.2.0) and simba-next will make use of this new FPC and Lazarus.
If we need an even newer (development) version of FPC, that can also be arranged.
So how does this affect users? It mostly doesn't. Developers should probably update their FPC and Lazarus to stay in sync, if they haven't already. The Linux builds (at least 64 bit) will probably work again in a few weeks from now. They actually worked and built – but libmml didn't want to build yet… Future work. ;)
