JRElfAgility

Since I had wanted this script made and noone was doing it, I ended up making this myself. Seeing as noone (that I can see) has posted an Elf Agility Course script yet, after using this to max my least favorite skill in RS, I thought I'd post it to give back to the community that brought me most of the scripts I wanted.

Special Thank You to RlagkRud as I based the two finders off of your fisher

What it does/has:
-completes the Hefin Agility Course in Elf City
-banks the rewards from the light creature (generally before your inventory space runs out, only got full once for me)
-gets 70-80k xp/hr at 92+ agility and more than 55k/hr at minimum reqs (without Voice of Seren, breaks 100k with it at high agi), fastest course in the game
-checks agility xp every few laps
-doesn't move mouse if it sees that it's still on top of the next obstacle
-a progress report every lap
What it doesn't do:
-velocity (well it will still work but it's a ton buggier and I think it's not even that much faster anyway)
-shortcuts
Requirements to access course:
-77 Agility
-Completion of Plague's End
Instructions to setup:
1. Make sure you have all the proper SMART settings, especially the XP counter in the top right corner of the chatbox (this is very important)
2. Pull the chatbox as far down as it can go (it should only be showing 3 or 4 lines of text)
3. Fill in your playerform details in DeclarePlayers, probably want to specify a world too unless you want to be logged in to w2 after six hours
4. Start with camera angled south and all the way up with the red carpet at the start of the course visible (for this reason you probably want to be logged in to start it)
5. Already have your bank pin entered before you start the script or disable it. Will add support for bank pins the next time I update this script.

Everything should look like this before you start it (doesn't matter which tab chat + backpack tab are open to and no familiar but everything else): http://imgur.com/58LQ3T1

Testimonials:
I've used it to train from 83-99 agility myself and have run it overnight a few times and it still is running when I wake up. Since this mostly uses TBoxes it is inherently a little bottish; however, I've run it for extremely long periods of time (I think 16hrs in a row once) and still haven't been banned so it's probably fine, definitely beats doing it yourself.
Proggy from last night, not too enlightening but I figured I should probably post one (I was using silverhawks during this and didn't keep track of my earlier proggies so it's around 1.5-2x more xp than normal, someone should use it and post a proggy):
——————————–
1297047 XP gained
140928.385368486 XP / HR
running for 552.215366666667 minutes
———————————

A recent double xp proggy of mine:

--------------------------------
1951381 XP gained
200660.803691328 XP / HR
running for 583.486716666667 minutes
---------------------------------

More Proggies (ty 3zx):
--------------------------------
416294 XP gained
93869.1949354701 XP / HR
running for 266.0901 minutes
---------------------------------

501091 XP gained
128892.544960403 XP / HR
running for 233.259883333333 minutes

564843 XP gained
99420.866495668 XP / HR
running for 340.880216666667 minutes

Updates:
1/29/2015:
-Made the script look for the carpet towards the bottom and middle of the screen (to hopefully reduce the likelihood of people wearing red at the bank throwing the script off etc…)
-Fixed a bug where every time you would receive an item from completing the course, the proggy would get messed up since the reward dialogue blocks the xp counter (also tried to fix the starting xp to work correctly if you start the script without logging in)
-Added a failsafe to banking so that it doesn't try to deposit stuff when your invent is empty and forced it to deposit when the backpack was full (ty Clarity)
-Added a few login checks that ought to have been there before
For some reason it stops randomly. Saying it missed 10 attempts. I have velocity off. Couldn't really tell what went wrong exactly. Hope this helps enough :)

J_R

2014-12-27 12:08:58

Does it do any laps for you?

Did you make sure to start it with the camera facing south with the red carpet in view, that is very important. Also put the xp counter in the top right of the chatbox as the missed attempt counter only counts misses if the xp doesn't change after what the script thinks is a lap.

you need the interfaces to look like this (no familiar summoned, don't think it matters which tab is open on invent tab, obviously this is just an example):

Will try it out now, I'll let you know if it works now.

Perfect script, it just needs some adjustments for the sliding down part from the cathedral to the light creature. Kind of tends to hang around that area too long.

There's ways to do the whole course without even moving the mouse or just keeping it in a general area maybe try doing this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CuwruZcOWc8

And for anyone using it for the first time so it doesn't stop make sure you complete:

1. The hard task for doing a lap around the course with the VoS active in that area.
2. No bank pin/ already put in your bank pin.

I got stuck for a few minutes when this happened, but if you do those before hand then the script should run perfectly for hours on end.

J_R

2015-01-26 19:36:16

Yeah, I'm aware of that it's possible to do the entire course like that; however, I think it's a bit difficult to set up (and rely on this setting for the script).

About the sliding rope part, sometimes it misses the rope (I didn't notice it very often though) and then quickly cycles through the rest of the obstacles (fails to find them obviously) until it comes back to the rope and finds it, that's probably what's causing the delay. Not sure if it's worth it / how to more accurately get the zip line. I couldn't get a DTM to work so I just used a tbox for it. Probably try messing around with the tolerance (the 12), probably lowering it a bit, on the line above my print statement for sliding the line.

In order to add a bankpin just add a line in declarePlayers with
bankPIN          := '****';
or fill out the pin in the player manager, I don't see there being a reason for pins to mess anything up as SRL should handle it.

That's what I did for the bankpin part. I had it set up correctly in the player manager and saved it. Was still stuck on it for like 10-12 minutes.

Had this script running perfectly for a while but now its having issues finding the red carpet. Played around with the color setting but that didnt seem to help. It also looks like the game may have updated where the platform before the carpet is now an area to step on and cant be clicked?

I updated to the newest SRL as well … but the script keeps giving this error -

Warning! You passed wrong values to a finder function: xs > xe (200,0). Swapping the values for now.
Warning! You passed wrong values to a finder function: ys > ye (100,0). Swapping the values for now.

Then runs the cycle and after 10 attempts shuts down (which is awesome). Just thought Id share in case anyone else is having similar issues.

I'll take a look at this tonight or tomorrow night when I have time. It's very possible that they have updated the colors. I've only ever had the wrong values thing come up when it was trying to find a color and the account was not logged in. Also, did you remember to start the script with the camera pointed south?

Absolutely … I played with the colors but couldnt seem to get it to work with just the red carpet. It might be related to the SRL update? That broke one script I had going but updating and restarting resolved that issue. Thanks for looking into this! Much appreciated!

I tried running this last night and it looked to run without any issues:

--------------------------------
1118267 XP gained
99207.0774870239 XP / HR
running for 676.322916666667 minutes
---------------------------------
I think it's probably SRL related (To be sure is anyone else running into the script not being able to find the carpet?). I checked and the color has definitely not changed for me. Maybe try adding this line:
if not isLogged in then exit;
to the beginning of my progressReport procedure and antiban procedure (doubt it will solve anything but looking at it now, it should probably be there anyway :P)

Try force updating SRL (under SRL menu click settings and override update, then under SRL menu just click update). It also could've been related to the lizard squad DDOSing RS servers recently as that could cause SMART to DC, which means it wouldn't be able to 'find' the mainScreen (it would be effectively like you had logged out without actually logging out) and would give that error. In that case, it should work now.

Working fine for me (running flawless atm), so it's probably something on your end @digitalninja. Could you post a screenshot of your gamescreen as well as the error messages in Simba?

Occasionally, it will hover over players wearing red items similar to the carpet (even those at the bank), but that is to be expected. Perhaps @J_R can filter the color search a bit more to the south of the mainscreen.

Also added in some checks for banking, because it's a bit strange to bank when the inventory is empty:

if ((random(500) > 475) and (not tabBackpack.isEmpty)) or (tabBackpack.isFull) then
begin
openBank;
doBanking;
end;

Did you remove the action bar / chatbox? If so, just set the graphics to the preset old school and drag the chatbox as far down as it will go (without the xp in the top right of the chatbox, the script has no idea what is going on). I'm not quite sure why it is using ActionBar.findbutton as I don't use any action bar stuff in this script.

Also did you try changing redCarpetColor to 988006?

By screenshot I meant a screenshot of your entire RS game screen, not just the mainscreen. I can't tell much from that picture.

I posted an updated version (you probably won't notice much of a difference running it) with:
-Made the script look for the carpet towards the bottom and middle of the screen (to hopefully reduce the likelihood of people wearing red at the bank throwing the script off etc…)
-Fixed a bug where every time you would receive an item from completing the course, the proggy would get messed up since the reward dialogue blocks the xp counter (also tried to fix the starting xp to work correctly if you start the script without logging in)
-Added a failsafe to banking so that it doesn't try to deposit stuff when your invent is empty and forced it to deposit when the backpack was full (ty Clarity)
-Added a few login checks that ought to have been there before
Yup … I had the action bar minimized for another script and thats exactly what it was. When it was fully extended it worked and when it was minimized it didnt. Odd … thanks for the help troubleshooting!

No problem! I think the issue with that was that simba has no idea where the main screen starts and ends if you minimize the buttons (it probably checks for buttons as the bottom of the main screen area), so in any script that relies on mainScreen.getBounds() to find something, you'd get that error.

Just tried this again to see if I could reproduce the vote screen, but it seemed to run just ok. Make sure you close all the random nags from riot like the treasure hunter chest thing and other notifications when u log in the first time, those are probably the issue.

More specifically I think you have to make sure that the small gold diamond with the ! inside of it that appears above your inventory (I think it's to signify a new poll being available) isn't there when running scripts. otherwise I don't see a reason for those screens to open.

Hi guys ive been testing the script for about 30 minutes. It runs smoothly all the way up to the zip lines. It like forgets where it has been then error checks and eventually finds the zip lines. this is seriously hurting the xp/hr. Once again it works, but slower than normal due to zip line issue.

The wrong values to a finder function thing means that you probably have the action bar hidden or something. Did you remember to start it with the camera facing southwards also? Otherwise, I'd suggest looking at where the script seems to be missing the zip line and editing the 250 and 193 on line 218 so that they match up more nicely for your setup, lowering the 250 moves the point to the left, lowering the 193 moves the point up and vice versa (you could also reduce the 12 on the same line to like 8 or so and see if that helps, Don't make it too low otherwise it means the bot clicks in the exact same spot every time it gets to the line slide)

The only thing I see that might be off is that the camera could probably be faced a bit closer to south, it's noticeably off in your pictures. It doesn't have to be 100% accurate to south, but if you look at the minimap, it (the path) shouldn't look visibly slanted. Try manually setting the camera angle at the start to be closer to south.

Also, the pictures also explain the previous error as the carpet at the bottom isn't actually visible in those pictures :P

The slant at that time wasn't suppose to show any issue. I know what direct south means lol. That is just where i had accidentally touched the camera over a bit in the midst of screenshotting.

When i get to the top and should be clicking the slide. The mouse calmly goes off screen then it starts the big finder function error. It rolls through the steps it has taken then finally clicks the slide.

This is my fault for not reading through the whole thread or even reading through all the code, but I didn't realize that the script doesn't handle bank pins until I went to study and came back to see it had spent the last several hours moving the mouse around with the pin screen open lol. This can be easily fixed with two simple changes to the "doBanking" procedure. I have highlighted these changes below. Thanks for the script, and best of luck to everyone!

function doBanking(): boolean;
begin
if not isLoggedIn then
exit;
writeLn('banking time!');
if (bankScreen.isOpen()or PinScreen.isOpen()) then
begin
PinScreen.Enter(Players[CurrentPlayer].BankPin);
writeLn('depositing all');
bankScreen.quickDeposit(0);

wait(random(900, 1200));
exit(true);
end

Sorry, I didn't actually think that the pin screen thing would actually be an issue as I thought that SRL6 would automatically handle this if you put in your pin (I don't usually use pins so it's never really been on my mind). I guess it's not the case, I will definitely add it in the next time I update this script. It's generally still a good idea to babysit any script that you haven't tried for a few minutes the first time you run it since things like this may happen no matter how reliable the script has been for others, I hope it works out ok!

taylar, I'll probably try to compare my screen to that one and see if I can figure what's going wrong friday night as I'm pretty swamped with school work until at least then, sorry for the inconvenience. At a first glance it looks as the mouse should probably even find the right spot so it's especially perplexing! In the meantime I'd double check all of your settings with the official settings for simba and maybe possibly increase the wait timers on line 217 from 8000 and 9500 to something like 9000 and 10000, it might be lagging and not finishing the agility animation or something for the roof before the line.

Upon further inspection, I believe your problems may be related to using the "RS3" camera mode (it's on the controls tab) instead of the "Classic" camera mode which you should be using, make sure you're on the Classic Camera and then try it again. (At least that's what I can guess based on the width of the poles in your screenshot compared to my screen). If it isn't that I'd suggest re-checking your graphics settings with the official graphics settings because I don't see what else could be causing the script to miss the slide more often than once every probably 10 or 20 or more laps.

No problem, glad the fix worked. Enjoy the agility gains!

Using the right settings are super important as even small differences can have drastic differences in how a machine (simba) sees things even if our eyes have trouble telling the difference between the two settings.

Yeah, most of the errors will likely be due to settings mishaps on the user side with this script. Good that you checked them and found the discrepancy :P

You should recheck your settings, it very rarely (if at all) misses the light creature for me (unless you're talking about the bonus that is doesn't do). Make sure your camera is Classic and not RS3, you could alternatively fiddle around with the coordinates for the last obstacle, but they've worked fine (and still work fine for me, I've ran it 10 hours last night) for others.

To be one obsticle b4 the beginning it just stood there,it had missed the last action and wanted to bank.. after some time(tho it correct itself) i helped it to get down … in the sec it got down to the beginning it said banking done and tryed to go to on its way,failed.
Idk if it was me setting it up badly or the script:/
Havent used it since,dont want it to stand on top on there and searching for a bank,if possible u could add some failsafes into it for every obsticle.for instance if its on the last obsticle then it makes some moves what is possilbe to do only there, b4 that does other obsticle moves also but they cant count .. i dont know if u got it lol :D
will try to do it myself:)

I think the problem is to do with the banking not the obstacles, when I get time I'll look into it. Recently some times (probably due to lag or something) it has had a few problems with banking for me. A quick fix would probably be adding some "if bankscreen.isOpen() then bankscreen.close();" checks at appropriate locations, if you get to try fixes like that in the right places (probably right after the logged in checks on the two finder functions) and they work, let me know and I'll probably add them in, been super busy recently haven't had any free time.

edit:
also, the order of the obstacles doesn't matter a whole lot. The way I currently do it, the mouse is usually already above the next obstacle for the first 4-5 obstacles so it just automatically left clicks in this case, usually the only moves it needs to make are some times for the slide and the light creature at the end. If you want to make it more robust and be able to tell which obstacle it's on, you should mess around with the array of mouseovertexts (stringarr in this case) for each obstacles and use the return values of the two finder functions (and maybe fiddle around with those too if you desire), but imo it is not super necessary when the layman's version I have here performs pretty well without it.

What u would commonly get is Mint cake .. so u might just eat it not bank it, what comes to other items,then most of the people have a chance to check account atleast once every 10h.
Imo other items isnt a problem.

I tried running it with the bank screen checks in the two finders and it didn't get caught up in banking at all. I don't know if it'd be able to just go 10hrs without banking, you can get shadow cores, lamps, and symbol pieces as well as agi/energy pots if I recall correctly in addition to the mint cakes.

To fix just copy:

if bankscreen.isOpen() then bankscreen.close();
right after the login checks on the two finders (you could get away with just adding it to boxfinder though)

1 obsticle b4 the end it went on top of the light creature and just stood there :)
Lol always when i think alright, im going to use this script,it doesnt get me far.It need aot of failsafes.

I agree it could use some failsafes; but I do have the most important one added in, it shouldnt run into 'infinite loops' (if it fails on finding xp change after 10 attempted laps, it will stop the script) outside of maybe the banking which I will admit is the only spot I've really had problems ever. If your settings are completely correct, you should not miss obstacles regularly (the only ones I've seen is occasionally the slide where it will take 2-3secs or so to cycle through the other obstacles, realise they aren't there, and try the slide again since the coords were prob a little off the first time). Make sure you keep your camera mode on Classic and not RS3, it seemed to be the one thing most others that were having issues with obstacles had in common. Another thing you could do is to re-acquire the coordinates to better match your setup. To do this do these simple steps:
1. click the target symbol in simba and drag it to SMART (should outline SMART in red)
2. now mouseover the top leftish area of the light creature (make sure the mouseover text is correct at that point) and notice the coords at the bottom of your screen in the simba window. These are your new coords you want.
3. Replace the coords in the line for the light creature to the new coords: BoxFinder(stringArr, 318, 180, 8, 6000, 7500); in here change 318 and 180 to whatever is good for you for example
4. fiddle with the tolerance (the 8), up means the box it wants to click in is going to go further down and to the right and thus be less 'accurate' to your chosen point, down means more accurate, but don't make it too small or it will click too close to the same pixel everytime which is not too good if you want to be even a little sneaky about your botting.

Does anyone else have the problem that it will fail to find the zipline the first time every single lap?

Check your camera mode, it's probably in RS3 instead of Classic
