i've got 3 friends that want to start playing a co-op game since summer is coming and we all end college in 3 days, i was wondering if you guys could give me some advice, we've played payday 2 and all the COD's.

We preferably want to play stuff on ps3 but PC is an option too!

soo, what im asking here basically is: What are the best Co-op games(4 players) you've played?

speedrunners (not really co-op, but 4player), l4d, l4d2

I honestly think truly Co-op games have taken a nose dive since the PS3 came out. They are far fewer in between and there is no easy method of doing so even when they are around on consoles due to the archaic necesity of needing separate consoles (I call this archaic not because of how it used to be as that would be wrong, but because it's an archaic design principle on what is supposed to be a social system). Even new games like Far Cry 4 that come out have 'co-op' but only so long as you don't plan on doing the story in a story-driven game.

I kinda feel like the only good co-op games lately have been for the Wii, as depressing as that may be.

I have played it, and it IS a fairly fun game. And the co-op does improve upon other games to a decent extent. IE: you can walk decently (although not unlimited) far away from your partner. Some actions you do can contribute to your individual progressions, however, it's entirely limited to skin collection (hunting animals), money, and tower/fortress liberation for the hosting player (only towers/fortresses are limited to host, the other 2 can be progressed for either/all players).

During the summers, I use to enjoy playing all the Halo's/COD on legendary mode with my buddies. Although since you have a PS and played all COD, I'd probably look into Diablo/Gears of War/Left 4 Dead.

Well if you don't mind MMOs, try SWTOR or Guild Wars 2 both are awesome. You always try titanfall, just started playing it (got it on sale for $5).

Magicka was a fun co-op game. I'm not sure the number of players, but it had a light story, was pretty good, if you like that sort of game.
