Does Opening or using more simba clients at the same time
affect the risk of getting banned?.
Are there measures to reduce this risk?.

Ask jagex, they're the only people that know.

I don't really think Jagex cares about multiple accounts from the same IP.

The quantity of simba clients does not matter at all - although, why not just use multiple scripts from the same simba?
As for multiple smarts/scripts running simultaneously… Honestly experience and testing shows a solid no for ban-rate. As far as I can determine so far, it is 100% script quality for automated banned and 100% bad luck if a mod happens to be watching you in the area (hence I only bot medium value activities - I've seen one ban ever and it was a SINGLE member of 6 bots all doing the same high money activity on the same pc - I moved to medium money and have never seen a ban since).
Just use simba when you're online or doing tasks at home, Because if your account is playing 22+ hours a day for 6+ days out of the week it's clearly unhealthy and unrealistic, Pretty much what Kevin said is great advice as well.
I also don't believe they see simba, they just record data via your account and clicks, movement, x\y etc.
If they could see the simba client running from our computers it'd be a bit illegal i'm sure because of privacy laws.

They could detect it. It isn't against any privacy laws. If they did though, you'd know. I don't think they really care about us right now, which is good. I agree with what Kevin said, code quality and how lucky you are with mods and reports.

Multiple open clients in one ip is what concerns me. but i guess
its all about script quality, (antibans, breaking, sleeps)

I've seen no issue with 6+ bots on one ip on one machine all doing same thing.

I'd note that collecting scripts tend to be watched more because they require no levels and tends to be high money earning. But theoretically if you had all the necessary anti-ban in place, yes. I would just recommend sticking to money making skills that result in xp. Sacrificing some gold per hour or doing something just a little hard is entirely worth it.

Another thing is that you would need to get a bond for each for them to freely trade high amounts of stuff/coins :(

Others have already gone over OP's question so I'll go off-topic a bit in regards to this - the sole reason I run scripts using instances instead of tabs is that the debug becomes unbearable. SL-6's already-spammy debug increases to epic proportions of unreadability and I can't tell which debug belongs to what.

I have seen people run 30-50 accounts from a single VPS

I say use different IP's for 10+ accounts.
