SRL Archive - Gaming

It's called "State of Decay" and it's on sale on steam atm (I bought it, but it's 100% singleplayer so you could torrent it if you wish to).
I found it surprisingly fun (I get bored of so many games after the first hour these days).
I got it and kept playing, only stopped to go to sleep.

Just though I'd share this with you guys and maybe get some responses from people who might've played the game ^_^
I watched this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57wlma8qjoc and that made me check it out (roughly 5 mins in, it's the #5 )

and ye, on sale for the next ~24 hours. (it'll probably be on sale in a couple weeks again during the full steam winter sale so dont feel rushed, especially as you could just torrent it)

It's definitely good for killing time while botting ^_^

oh what turned you off from it?

There was a time when i would enjoy single player. But since i have hooked on to mmo's and rts games, I don't enjoy single player game that much.

It's a badly made console port, I refuse to wrestle with UI and controls just because a game developer is too lazy to make a proper PC port and instead sees PC as a way to print free money.

odd, I've found it to run very smoothly. I haven't felt at all limited just because I'm using a keyboard, though I have felt like that with other more "triple A" games.

If (maybe out of boredom in the future ^_^) you do end up getting past the controls and more into the campaign, lemme know what you thought of it (especially the house building side which is what [imo] makes this otherwise average game standout)

To be fair, I was just turned off by the UI and controls and didn't give the game more than 15 minutes of my time. I may give it another go one day, but my game backlog is huge, so probably not. :p

Ah man @No Lifer; I've started this game and I do indeed enjoy it :). Also like all games it's fun to mess with the settings (admittedly unlimited health is activated)

I don't know about multi-player mods,
but there is a ton here i use
