Improving the Longevity of your Account(s)?

I think that I am going to carve out some time to write a few scripts in the next few weeks, and I am wondering what I can do when writing the script to minimize the chance of any bans that may occur. Obviously nobody knows exactly how bans occur, and it is all speculation to an extent, but I am looking for things that I can do to improve any account's chances of remaining undetected.

-Has implementing a break handler improved the situation?
-Does the common antiban (Case X of 1..10 mouseoffclient etc) help?
-Are certain mouse procedures/functions better than others? What kind of randomization should my clicks/movements have?
-Would talking between botting accounts be useful? (One bot has a pseudo conversation with another on friends list)
-Does combining two activities into one script help? (E.g. switch between fletching & smithing after certain amount of time)
-Has play time had a significant impact on bans (Obviously the less you bot the less likely it is, but in terms of HOURS BOTTED, does it make a difference? –
by this i mean, is botting 4 hours a day for 6 days really safer than 1 day for 24 hours? Or is it the same.)

Just curious as to what can be done/ what you do to remain under the radar. I have been playing around with a few basic scripts of my own, but until I can confidently and consistently run these scripts without ban, I don't want to attach my name to them :P

The only thing that I have ever personally noticed helps with not getting banned are breaks and good antiban. Aside from that its just having a good script that is human like in its movements.

When I say "good antiban," what I mean is a script only does antiban when its supposed to. A legit player isn't going to check his xp or afk for 10 seconds if his rock at lrc just died and he has to hop or find a new one.

I'll answer these with the speculation I have from trying things:

-Has implementing a break handler improved the situation?

Yes

-Does the common antiban (Case X of 1..10 mouseoffclient etc) help?

No idea

No idea, but I've always used some way of not always clicking in the same spot. Usually by choosing a (semi)random point in a TPA.

I haven't done this but I suspect it would help. Not because it makes you look more "human", but because it helps break patterns.

Not directly.

Remember, this is just speculation that I'm basing off botting habits of myself and some others. I think you should always try things out on an account you don't care about until you're comfortable with using an account you do care about.

Scripts getting trapped in an infinite loop results in bot like behaviour thus
getting banned.

I think switching between multiple activities and not botting the same thing definitely helps. The only account I got banned was because I was doing a week of astral crafting and nothing else except dailies, meanwhile for like a month botting 12hrs+ a few months earlier I did not get banned because I was doing hunter, div, fletching, crafting, runecrafting, superheating and herblore switching it up every day.

I think though that you should be careful botting stuff which makes a lot of money for the reqs (astral runes, superheating, green/blue/black dragon bots, collecting things) because I think that Jagex definitely watches those more closely.

For talking between account i think has no effect, maybe jagex does not monitor this at all. Got multiple bans using talking between 2 accounts, althrough it was high risk anyways- dragons. Combining activities helps alot, could bot like 4 hours drags 4 hours fletching. Also i dont suggest only using one activity whole 14 days of membership with bot or botting same activity more than 12 hours a day. it seems to be instant ban in high risk locations. So when playing prolonged time dong same stuff jagex gets alot of data which can be used to determine if you botting or not, best way to avoid ban is not to give enough data. For scripts like runecrafting and other running or summoning scripts high quality semi pathernic randomness is needed. Because like runecrafting you do 60 trips per hour so there is alot of data to compare. And if all data will show no or little randomness or randomness whithout patterns, since people behaviour is randomness with patterns, then good fight jagex.

This is the way I've come to see it. The more people that report you, the worse. If your bot moves in a way that other people could easily suspect you are a bot, then that's not going to help your chances. I can only advise babysitting and world-hopping every now and then if you don't feel confident with the script. I can bot like a maniac as long as I sit there talking to people around me. Constantly babysitting is no problem for me. I bot for medical reasons. Eye strain, hand cramps, and blablabla; it's Medicinal Botting and Jagex should legalize it. ^_^
Tbh I've made over 300m on one account with a private script with no antiban apart from random manual breaking. Jagex watches what it can, and maybe I'm just a small fish in the sea, but if people around you can't tell you're botting, Jagex, imo, doesn't have too many more tricks up their sleeve. This seems true at least in RS3, but OSRS probably gets more attention.
