How do I make SMART work?

Okay I'd like to say sorry, I tried looking for a answer but I couldn't find anything that helped me, I haven't used simba in ages so I can't remember what I did before..

I am trying to use smart8.3 so I can minimize ikov when using a script. I have the script, but can someone tell me what do I put in the script to make it able to minimize and for it to load a browser for ikov or however it works?

Also was I supposed to but the files in the download in /plugins?

Here's a small snippet of the code for the script:

program new;

{$I SRL-6/SRL.simba}

var
T : TTimeMarker;
X, Y, Loads, Profit : Integer;

//(T.getTime > 30000);
function TheBanker : Boolean;
begin
Result := false;

program new;

{$DEFINE SMART} // <- this thing
{$I SRL-6/SRL.simba}

var
T : TTimeMarker;
X, Y, Loads, Profit : Integer;

//(T.getTime > 30000);
function TheBanker : Boolean;
begin
Result := false;

Thanks for the fast reply, I had that there, but I couldn't minimize it or anything, and I'm not sure how to make it open up Ikov as I assume it should.. Am I supposed to have a file called smart.simba where I put the code in that? I'm sorry but I'm so lost in this :(

You can't run a private server in SMART.

Oh.. I thought you could from this: "Parsing of <applet> parameters was tweaked and improved so that it is more robust and less specific to the official RS pages. I.E. SMART is better at loading private servers now, you just need the address of the <applet> declaration, such as *cant post link* which will be split into 'root' and 'params' for SmartSpawnClient as follows:"

So is that for a future release (the ability to use RSPS)?

U can load RSPS in Smart but it wont be able to capture colors..
@Brandon
Any way to capture the RSPS canvas?

So I won't be able to minimize the script when running, correct? (since I can't load the RSPS)

You can load it, but it's rather difficult and not worth the work because Simba won't be able to capture colors from the client.

The way I understand it, SMART can only capture the canvas of that which it has a proper plugin: e.g. OpenGL and opengl32.dll, or Direct-X and d3d9.dll
Since there's no CPU-native plugin (and 99% of RSPS user clients render graphics via your CPU), SMART can't capture anything.

Not entirely sure why, as SMART could run in Safe Mode (Software Mode, CPU-Mode basically) pre-RS3. Maybe someone enlighten me on that: why does SMART now need a special plugin to capture?

That's probably wrong, but it's how I understand it and the end result is the same: doesn't work.

SMART doesn't need a special plugin to capture colours from a "GDI" client. It can capture RS safe-mode because it uses a CANVAS.. Private servers don't.. They tend to render on a JPanel or some other component/surface. It still uses GDI on windows and X11 on linux.. but it's not a "Canvas" which SMART replaces with its own in order to capture.

SMART essentially replaces the jagex RS canvas with its own custom made canvas which uses SMART's internal buffers (fed to Simba). You can tweak SMART to capture from any surface.

SMART actually works fine in safemode, it's just SRL that no longer supports it. I made a safemode legacy version of SRL and it works fine with or without SMART :)
