SRL Archive - Banned from RS

Dang, It's finally happened haha, my one and only high level account just got banned. I've been using simba for over a year though, and even then I probably have to consider myself an unsafe botter, doing it way to much each day. I saw it coming, and am actually surprised at my reaction, not to sad about it haha. Just a reminder, please don't bot for more than 6 hours a day, and if you do, consider breaks. Try to prolong it as much as possible before it all goes down haha.

Ima commend my guy for lasting as long as he did, gona miss being able to test scripts and stuff around here =(.
Hopefully I can get an account to use for testing and allow this great program to continue on for future success.

Amazing work here guys, cherish it and don't take it for granted, just use it wisely and you won't be regretting it, like all of us in this sub-section of the forum.

Did you get banned from botting on OSR or RS3? Using SMART? public or private script?

this is why you don't bot on your main and keep your main using real RS client and the bots separate in Simba clients

Been botting on my main for years, no problems, bot responsibly and it'll be fine.

I suppose, but for me personally, I would much rather have a 0% chance than a 1% chance :P

Haha yeah man sucks, I have only botted OSR like once, and havent done it for ages now, only been botting RS3 for the time being, and used SMART all the time, much more convenient. The scripts that I used were mostly public Simba ones aswell as Jr. member ones, never trusted my scripting enough to make a release or to even try it for myself haha.

Sorry to hear, thats similar to what happened to me with my completionist main with 1 bil total xp that I had for 7 years.

At least you can now set aside your mindset to something else. I got over it and continued to move on because there are much more important things to deal with.

Sucks to read about the bans so frequently. I miss the times where the only people getting banned were the goldfarmers with 200 GDK bots, and even then only sparingly through manual bans.

At least you can now set aside your mindset to something else. I got over it and continued to move on because there are much more important things to deal with.

Dang man thats gota suck, but I totally agree, coming to the point where I need to focus on studying and really push to get some good grades. In the end it is just a game, no use dwelling on it.

Its super risky to do that. I've lost many accounts suicide botting ( granted this was years ago but still.)

I don't notice many users of private script users getting banned. Are the ban rates on those really that much lower, or is it just a lack of these users actually coming out and saying they got banned?

Jagex seems to only ban you if you collossally mess up (stand there doing nothing but still clicking for 4hrs or getting lost and thrashing around for example) or do something goldfarming related that they are watching (astrals comes to mind here as an example). It also might help to switch what you're doing every day/few days as well because there is no way that guy chopping oaks 24/7 for 2 weeks straight is legit.

Private scripts are probably marginally safer because those accounts don't follow the same patterns that other, public scripts might

no sarcasm. I've never been banned on an account with membership, only f2p accounts or accounts that became f2p as a result of stopping membership.

The game took a path which I didn't like, so essentially it was as if I was suiciding on that account since there wasn't much left to do in game.
