Just started watching it on Netflix. I've heard so many good things about it, but I never thought I would get into the premise. It actually seems pretty funny and interesting at the same time.

To be honest, I thought that show was terrible.

Ratings apparently dropped when they decided to change whoever the main doctor or character was. Never was worth the hype

Changing the doctor

I stopped after the first few episodes, it didn't interest me.
I didn't follow up after that, but after seeing ads with a different guy on a channel like SyFy, I knew it was crap.

It's sort of cheesy at some points, but it seems to be decent so far. I can't really say it comes close to the acting quality of shows like Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones, but BBC does put out some quality stuff.

The quality went down as soon as they started trying to appeal to the general American audience (Steven Moffat + Matt Smith onwards). Nonetheless, I still watch the show when it comes out, even if I do laugh throughout the episode due to its idiocy.

I can agree with that. They seemed to have put the episodes into a fairly generic sort of framework. Like, the world is in trouble and the Doctor puts off saving it until the end of the episode. Also, when he is saving it, action music has to play.

I've never seen it i'll check it out

Watched 10 episodes of it, damn that was a bad show. :/

He means that the doctor changes when he dies, it is part of the show. The Doctor will regenerate when he is killed and he always has a new body, new body = new actor.

I saw the first episode and was like wtf is with that creature looking thing. I gave up after seeing that and the following episode with walking manikins =_=

well now i know i dont even bother :D
