SRL Archive - Banned from RS

Holy shit are they on fire at the moment..

1 Account banned botting cows/chickens at draynor/south barbarian village. (1 week old)
1 Account perm banned for botting seagulls at port sarim. (1 day old account)
1 Account temp banned for 20 days for botting sudoku. (old rs account - luckily I made some bank before ban)

E: These are on OSRS only.

Might try on a VM - shall see.. (just a note that these accounts were never ran from the same ip addresses)

I think they detect 3rd party clients atm and ban based on that. Simple.

Same jagex cache?

Nope, only link account wise was paypal account on sudoku and 1 week old account - was solving 125 sudokus per hour and only temp ban though pretty amusing.

Going to be botting in places with no players like Keldagrim for a while - I honestly think it's player reports (currently)

Small tip: wouldn't link direct from villavu, I would open it in a different browser page as redirects can always be traced.

Paypal shouldn't be a link I don't think. I'm fairly sure paypal withholds this information from Jagex, doesn't send email or names etc.

E: they do spend a lot of time on player reports, especially if they have a google docs page for it… Also were you logging unreal hours?

Yeah I haven't given them any reason referrer wise (villavu and what not) My scripts were around 6-8 hours per day with minimal 5 min breaks before the 6 hour mark. Haven't really used much breaking throughout my years of botting.

Would like to see if more people have been banned and to go more indepth into this.

Appreciated - seems so strange that in the timespan when I quit OSRS to now they are banning so quickly.

I found after update #56 they started banning much more. My last account got close to 100 million xp… got banned 3 days after #56 then the next account only lasted 2 days. Ditched SMART and my current account is 2 weeks old, no ban :D

yeah they seemed to have upped their game around when kb & I got banned

I have a feeling that it might be one thing to do with the client your using and the amount of time played as well. They might be able to like rs3 had, the update where they were able to determine the client logging in and ban them. I remember a year ago or so they insta banned anyone who logged in through the powerbot client

It's not game time, One of my accounts that was banned during the start of this ban wave had only botted for 2 days in the past ~2 years.
It was also a main acc + a 5 year vet + had been playing legit from time to time prior to the botting.

+ a m8 of mine plays crazy amounts of time (18+ some days) legit & has yet to be falsely banned for botting

The moment I added breaking to my script, I haven't seen any bans since.

Otherwise, it was 8+ hours then ggwp, onto a new account.
