SmartSpawnClient() stuck at initApplet()

About 50% of the time it will be stuck at initApplet() at exactly this line:
[java]
clientApplet = (Applet) (thisLoader.loadClass(parseArg(search(jsInfoPage, codeRegex, 1)).replaceAll(".class$", "")).newInstance());
[/java]

I could restart the client and retry, and it will succeed after a few tries, but scripts won't be able to run more than 6hrs most of the time due to this problem.

Any idea what's causing this issue?

I'm using the GLX interception plugin. Doesn't seem to have this problem when loading OSR with SMART.

How can you tell it is stuck at exactly that line? RS3 only? SRL-6? etc..??

P.S. for highlighting you do:

//My Java Code here..

I added some simple debugging to Client.java:

Main.debug("initApplet 4");
clientApplet = (Applet) (thisLoader.loadClass(parseArg(search(jsInfoPage, codeRegex, 1)).replaceAll(".class$", "")).newInstance());
Main.debug("initApplet 5");
the java cmd stopped at "initApplet 4".

I'm using your glx plugin.
I've only ran osr a couple of times which didnt have any problem.
Will conduct more tests tmr to see if OSR/SRL (color-only plugin?) has this problem.

Plugins don't have anything to do with SMART's internals.. Plugins don't get loaded by the applet until the log-in screen (long after applet initialisation). The entire loading process (up until the log-in screen) is actually rendered in safe-mode (GDI/GDI+). SMART loads them as soon as it starts but they do nothing except replace SMART's buttons. It actually just sits there doing nothing until the applet attempts to load it (log-in screen).

I just needed to know if it's a problem with OSRS or RS3, how fast the internet connection is, etc.. It could be that RS changed the way it loads the applet, the include, etc.. Try OSRS-include/SRL-6-include. See what happens.

Not sure about the applet changing as you said it loads "sometimes". I can't replicate this problem, except on Linux.

Why are you using glx with osr? It doesn't load with openGL or DirectX. It's strictly safemode/software rendering

I'm not. I'm using RS3.

Tested spawning OSR today. It will sometimes get stuck at that line too, but will recover and spawn the client after about a min. (whereas for rs3 i waited at least 20min and the client still didn't spawn).

My internet connection is pretty fast (100mbps fibre broadband), i can load OSR client in 10sec, but for RS3 it takes much longer (1 min or so)
