Hi guys, I was wondering if there could be a RSPS made specifically for SRL/Simba. So we can test our scripts, testing out functions in scripts that we don't want to do in real RS because we are not sure how stable/reliable it is.
I'm not sure what you all think of this, but I think it would be fairly cool!

While that would be extremely convenient, I doubt the SRL community could afford to have its own private server. Everyone here is in college and poor. If a server were to ever happen it would have to be sponsored by one very generous individual.

Not to mention the possiblity of lawsuits and all the other Jagex nonsense

As great as it would be, it would give Jagex cause to take down villavu.com as disucssed here.

At the moment Simba is just a program that can be used for anything. Once Villavu starts actually hosting illegal/anti-Jagex software like a RSPS, they will have a good enough reason to take legal action; it's just not worth it.

Simba itself is safe enough to use for testing in the live game, also with many many many many RSPS releases full of bugs and none run exactly like runescape, none of them have the exact live game colour changing ranges on items(as far as I can tell) ect. It's just better to test in game. If you're really worried buy an account or make a second account and use that for script testing.
