Just got to college yesterday. Attending SUNY Fredonia. this place is bomb as <removed>. I have no idea what I want to do as far as a major/career but I have a lot of time to decide. Yesterday night there was a huge off campus party I went to and met a lot of chill people and the jungle juice did its job well because I was quite inebriated and/or <removed> up.

As everyone here already knows, I am the best simba/pascal scripter of all time. However, I have never attempted to learn any other programming languages, so I enrolled in a computer science class and the textbook is titled "starting out with c++". so I'm assuming that I'll be learning c++. which I hope all my <removed> on here can help me out with stuff I can't figure out. If I like these other non-pascal languages like java and c then theres a solid 50-99% chance that I'll be a computer science major and be a programmer doing stuff making decent money but I'm not sure I have to look into it further.

I can’t say that I know you, but I wish you the best of luck in whatever you decide to study.

I’d say that if you liked Pascal you will love C++ because it is just super powerful and useful, specially the Object Oriented part.

What you've learnt on here will definitely help you with other languages. Once you've got used to the different syntax and picked up on the different features you've pretty much got it.
