Fantastic work guys, keep it up.

Edit:
Alrighty I'm probably just stupid but the new simba gives:
Error: Duplicate declaration "drawText" at line 562

Old simba doesn't for the SRL 6 include. Checked that everything was updated a few times, tried both 64bit and 32bit Simba.

How to get SRL-6 to work.

  1. Download Simba from OP.
  2. Download SRL-6 from here, and extract it into /includes, make sure you've deleted the old srl-6 and named the new one (srl-6-new_simba) to 'srl-6'.
  3. In the SRL-6 file open the folder extensions, and replace your srl.sex (In Simba/Extensions) with the one in there.
  4. Now open Simba, Disable the extensions updater, and enable the srl extension (if if isnt)
  5. Disable SRL updates (So it doesn't update the copy you just downloaded)
  6. And finally update plugins via the extension. *You will want to go to Simba/Plugins and delete 'libTesseract' (the old one) be sure to keep the 'libTesseract32' though.*
If you have any problems post, Obviously once this Simba has been 'officially' released all this will be automatically done for you.

All SRL updates will most likely go to that branch to get some attention to this, I have already updated the worldswitcher and am going though the bugs list.. :)

No, It would be way to much extra effort and make the include extremely ugly and long winded. It's really not a problem.. When everything is in the updater.

Fixed it via teamviewer, The new plugin is named libTesseract32 and the old one was just libTesseract, so it wasn't overwriting it and Simba was just loading the old one first..!

Sorry them instructions aren't the clearest.

What you need to do is delete your old srl-6 and rename srl-6-New_Simba to srl-6

Then you should be good to go!

Here's a folder with latest Simba, SRL, SPS and such. If you want to update the SRL-6-New_Simba branch you do it exactly same way as if you were installing/updating OSR.

Just extract it and your good to go!

This is working ;)

PS. You forgot to push BMW's stats tab bitmap (you only done the other tabs). Also noticed it sometimes failed to select the worlds tab when switching worlds (it clicks the tab but it doesn't activate the tab - some sort of 2-3 attempt loop might be nice).

end;

Iv made failsaves there because somehow like 50 percent of a time in minimap.setangle functionit doesnt press the key at the first time…Probably keydown is failing somewhere. since never had that kind of problem before.

Also fixed function to get yellow dots, but only works for yellow ones to count them and get closest one coordination… using findcolorspiraltolerance with cts2 some settings :

function DotYellowCount():integer;
var
x, y: integer;
TPA: TPointArray;
ATPA: T2DPointArray;

begin
result:=-1;
findColorsSpiralTolerance(x, y, TPA, 651512, minimap.getbounds(), 5, colorSetting(2,0.22, 1.39));
if length(TPA) < 1 then

ATPA := TPA.toATPA(2, 2);

ATPA.sortFromMidPoint(minimap.getCenterPoint());

if (length(ATPA) < 1) then exit;
result:=high(atpa);

end;

second ones finds closest yellow dot and rotates it to match to the angle of the screen for example 45 being top right corner: for example:

nusitaiko(45)-> rotates ur screen to the closest yellow dot to be in top right corner. Very usefull in areas where mobs are kind of far away and while ranging. perfect for ranging drags.

function nusitaiko(kampas: integer):integer;
var
x, y,i : integer;
TPA: TPointArray;
ATPA: T2DPointArray;
t: tpoint;
k,m: extended;
xv,yv,ml: integer;
begin
result:=-1;
findColorsSpiralTolerance(x, y, TPA, 651512, minimap.getbounds(), 5, colorSetting(2,0.22, 1.39));
if length(TPA) < 1 then
ATPA := TPA.toATPA(2, 2);
//ATPA.filterBetween(0, 0); //isfiltruoja mazas atpas
ATPA.sortFromMidPoint(minimap.getCenterPoint());
if (length(ATPA) < 1) then exit;
result:=high(atpa);
ml:=kampas;
t:=minimap.getCenterPoint();
if high(tpa)=-1 then
begin
writeln('No such type dots found on the minimap, quiting procedure');
result:=-1;
exit;
end;
SortTPAFrom(TPA, t);
xv:=tpa[0].x-t.x;
yv:=t.y-tpa[0].y;
k:=degrees(ArcTan2(yv,xv));
m:=(minimap.getangledegrees());
minimap.setangle(trunc(k+m-90+ml));
writeln('Succesfully rotated');
end;

Also isloggedin function fails like 1-2 percent of a time….
Another issue is when opening equipment interface if the mouse at start used to be in minimap sometimes opens meele abilities instead.
also while hover skill, if mouse at start uses to be in mainscreen, hovers twitch icon….

Just from a non-developer, outsider's perspective, it only took 20 mins from the time you said "updating" to when the fix was complete for the new SRL. Wouldn't it be nearly as quick and simple to update for the old SRL as well?

I'm certainly not knocking your dev progress on the new version, but it seems like now that we're into public testing, more and more bugs are surfacing, which I know is exactly how the process is supposed to go, but each bug sets the official release back. Meanwhile we're all making due with band-aids on the current version, but if the fixes are truly as quick as it appeared to be, then I don't see why we're not getting the updates.

Again, not knocking you, just giving my perspective.

Iv made failsaves there because somehow like 50 percent of a time in minimap.setangle functionit doesnt press the key at the first time…Probably keydown is failing somewhere. since never had that kind of problem before.

Also fixed function to get yellow dots, but only works for yellow ones to count them and get closest one coordination… using findcolorspiraltolerance with cts2 some settings :

function DotYellowCount():integer;
var
x, y: integer;
TPA: TPointArray;
ATPA: T2DPointArray;

begin
result:=-1;
findColorsSpiralTolerance(x, y, TPA, 651512, minimap.getbounds(), 5, colorSetting(2,0.22, 1.39));
if length(TPA) < 1 then

ATPA := TPA.toATPA(2, 2);

ATPA.sortFromMidPoint(minimap.getCenterPoint());

if (length(ATPA) < 1) then exit;
result:=high(atpa);

end;

second ones finds closest yellow dot and rotates it to match to the angle of the screen for example 45 being top right corner: for example:

nusitaiko(45)-> rotates ur screen to the closest yellow dot to be in top right corner. Very usefull in areas where mobs are kind of far away and while ranging. perfect for ranging drags.

function nusitaiko(kampas: integer):integer;
var
x, y,i : integer;
TPA: TPointArray;
ATPA: T2DPointArray;
t: tpoint;
k,m: extended;
xv,yv,ml: integer;
begin
result:=-1;
findColorsSpiralTolerance(x, y, TPA, 651512, minimap.getbounds(), 5, colorSetting(2,0.22, 1.39));
if length(TPA) < 1 then
ATPA := TPA.toATPA(2, 2);
//ATPA.filterBetween(0, 0); //isfiltruoja mazas atpas
ATPA.sortFromMidPoint(minimap.getCenterPoint());
if (length(ATPA) < 1) then exit;
result:=high(atpa);
ml:=kampas;
t:=minimap.getCenterPoint();
if high(tpa)=-1 then
begin
writeln('No such type dots found on the minimap, quiting procedure');
result:=-1;
exit;
end;
SortTPAFrom(TPA, t);
xv:=tpa[0].x-t.x;
yv:=t.y-tpa[0].y;
k:=degrees(ArcTan2(yv,xv));
m:=(minimap.getangledegrees());
minimap.setangle(trunc(k+m-90+ml));
writeln('Succesfully rotated');
end;

Also isloggedin function fails like 1-2 percent of a time….
Another issue is when opening equipment interface if the mouse at start used to be in minimap sometimes opens meele abilities instead.
also while hover skill, if mouse at start uses to be in mainscreen, hovers twitch icon….

I'm having similar issues with isLogged(randomly works/doesn't work), and camera rotations (setAngle, randomCompass etc.).
I've also had weird experiences with colors shifting constantly. It's not recognizing colors it recognized on the previous loop or relog.

Hmm, I'm not sure if this is an issue with FastGetPixel, or if minimai.getDots() is simply lacking an out of bounds check. Occurs after a random amount of time:

Error: You are accessing an invalid point, (4,-1) at bitmap[48] at line 742
Execution failed.

I am pretty certain the issue is not in FastGetPixel, as it has not been modified. Seems to just raise the exception it's supposed to do when given neg point.
While Minimap.GetDots has been modified (if I recall correctly), so that leaves it as the probable sinner*

* Just print the point before calling FastGetPixel and it should write a point which is "out of range" - And so the issue is not in FastGetPixel

i have had similar problem with own made getdots function which looked for 2by2 pixel atpas in minimap.getbounds too, also debug crashed because of out of range too. So maybe the problem is in minimap.getbounds which is in minimap.getdots, thats what ill look after today after work, minimap.getbounds, or maybe i should just make bounds static tbox?

Monday update changed most of the static colors to be dynamic, so there is sometimes huge deviation. I have yesterday simplily redone whole drags bot because of that, Orange close interface buttons are dynamic now, minimap dots, especially yellow ones, probably logoutbutton isnt static anymore thats why islogged fails, for my experience my bot lasts up to 1 hour untill islogged fails….During that time it checks maybe 80-100 times. Also minimap trees colors so dynamic that sometimes dtm fails, falsively recognizing objects there isnt. Minimap so dynamic colors especially in wildy, sps doesnt work at all, now ddtms sometimes fails cause of that, the deviation ridiculously high. For example one time minimap background is color of wet beach sand then the other lagg line changes colors to purple :D Yep the colors changes sometimes every 30 secs sometimes just after relog. For the camera rotations the issue is somehow it fails to press the key so waits 14 secs and does nothing, added failsaves to press key if it isnt pressed then works perfectly fine 99.5 percent of a time. This one particular may be the simba problem, but the others are caused by jagex.

I could see FastGetPixel has a range check but I was asking just incase (as I don't know how that function works). It's probably that getAllPossibleDots() returns a TPoint of the dot's black border colour which is right at the very top of the searchBox (MM dot is black at the bottom of the dot), so when getDots() passes y - 1 to fastGetPixel it's actually out of the SearchBox.

I also had a random tesseract error last night after about 7 hours running, but I didn't have debug on. I'll try and get it again.

EDIT: I've got a list of bugs in the new SRL6. I'll post them + fixes in the morning and you can decide whether you want to update them as I hate using git :p

Great work Mayor.

It is also interesting to hear about Jagex making the colors dynamic in game. How could we counter this? Surely the colors can't change that much otherwise players in game would get confused and might think a burnt lobster is a cooked one :D
I thought this is why we had color tolerance? I might be wrong, interesting to find out :)

Yea that could happen, il fix that.. If nothing changes in the next few days i will look into 'back-porting' the include.

Have any colours become dynamic? I was under the impression that colours that were already dynamic still are, and colours that were static still are.

As Ian said, most colours have always been dynamic (which is what tolerance is for), but it seems Jagex did change a few static colours in the recent update (i.e., the MM dot colour used to be static, now it's dynamic). Apart from that, everything else is pretty much the same. All scripts should work just the same if you can pick your colours properly.

I assume you downloaded the bugged simba from OP. See Olly's post on second page for a working version. Rc3 is also bugged, so I would just stick with the one olly posted for now (if you don't want to use the old simba).

It works fine up until it goes to withdraw more essence, at which point I get the "failed to withdraw ess" message and it goes buggy from there. I am using pure essence, does this script only work with regular essence, or pure essence as well.

Wrong thread?
