so after other sites have broken down i have looked into srl and simba and had a few questions…

when i bot eoc on a high quality script , what are the chances of me getting banned, suicide botting on a common skill such as fishing or something along the same lines.

i wanted to look into learning the language simba runs on (code) i have some arduino background and the code looks similar but i just cant find anything on this site to help me learn the language, such as the little things.. like what program i can use to write my own scripts (i think i saw SMART or something somewhere but i dont know what it is…) the right way to tell it to click on something, or to write an efficient anti-ban. (im looking for example/definition type thing)

really i want to get to know this client inside and out but dont know where to start.

I got banned after roughly three months of suiciding the same three skills. It's generally good to spread your xp gain across several skills, and to not suicide.

SRL uses a modified version of Pascal called PascalScript, which runs through the Lape (RS3) or PascalScript (OSR) interpreter.

Any online resources you can find on Delphi (or more preferably, Pascal) will give you a good understanding of the language we use here. I personally recommend Progmofo. Contains a lot of profanity, but they've got a ton of links and a great attitude about programming.

As far as RS-specific programming goes, the Help/Tutorials section of this forum is a great place to start learning how to use the SRL libraries.

Suicide botting: I think some people have posted month-long progress reports here? You probably could get away with suiciding botting for a while, but spreading your botting across a few activties could be beneficial. We know that Jagex for sure can detect when your bot is broken, AKA it is doing the same repetitive things over and over(the time-frame of Jagex recognizing repetitive actions is unknown, i.e. perfectly mining + banking over and over again vs constantly teleporting), other than that, everything else is just guesswork as to how Jagex detects perfect-running bots. Some people think they have some system gold to skill/quest ratio that flags accounts, no one really knows.
I'd prefer to have a few activities, perfectly scripted, that the bot switches from every few hours or so, than doing just one for 12-24 hours of the day.

A way that for sure decreases your chances of getting banned is decreasing the amount of time you bot on each account, by botting less, that account has less exposure (it still has a chance of getting banned while running), so some people might make their scripts support multiplayer, where they'd have 3 accounts play 6-8 hours, or 2 accounts play 8-12 hours.

As for learning, below are a huge amount of links that you will find useful. Also if you ever run into any problems, search villavu/simba first, and if you can't find something similar, then make a forum post and people will be more than willing to help you out.
