Minimize anything to the system tray guide

Yes, I know. There already are guides for this but I had to share this with you because this is the simplest way to minimize something (for example SMART) to the system tray. No installation required, no messing around with settings, no extra program that you have to open in order to minimize something… After you followed this guide, it will be literally as easy as pressing the right mouse button to get something into that little corner of your screen! I'll try to be very detailed and I'll explain it as simple as possible, even monkeys could do it. I've written all of this, there was 0% copying from someone else. I wasn't sure if this is the right section to make this thread, if not, please let me know. Let's begin.

Step 1
This nice little thingy is called RBTray. Click here if you want to visit the website. Or if you trust me, click here for the direct download link. Download it and save it somewhere, for example at your desktop.

Step 2
Now you have this:

You need to open this with an archiver, I recommend using WinRAR. This is what you get when you open it (in case you're wondering what language that is, it's Dutch):

Step 3
Congratulations, you opened a file all by yourself, whoa!

If you have a 32-bit machine, go for this one:

If you have a 64-bit machine, you need this one:

If you don't know whether you have a 32-bit or 64-bit machine, go here. If you've decided which one you need, go to the next step!

Step 4
Now you need to hover over the map you need, left click with your mouse and hold it. Now drag it off the archiver onto your desktop, for example. When you've reached your desired place on the desktop, release the left mouse button. If you've done everything right, you'll have this:

Step 5
We're almost there! Now open the map, you'll see this:

If you look very closely and if you concentrate really hard, you can tell there are 2 files. To make everything clear:

Don't touch this:

Touch this:

Now double click on it. I hear you already thinking 'huh what? nothing shows up?! VIRUS??!!?!'. Well, press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC to open the Windows Task Manager. Go to the processes tab. If you did everything right, this should show up:

End this proces if you don't want to use the program anymore.

Step 6
Great, the little program is running, now test it with any program you want! To do that, you have to right click on the button at the left. You know, the one you use to minimize your stuff:

Oh no, it disappeared!

Step 7
Next to your clock and your stuff you have a little arrow, like this:

Left click that little triangle. No way, the program you've just made disappear, is in that little box! Amazing!

Nice job, you did it! Be proud! If you guys would like to have me explained how you make the little program automatically run at startup, as detailed as this guide of course, then let me know! I hope you enjoyed the little tutorial and I hope everyone understood it. Thank you for reading and replies are always welcome. :)

Just wanted to tell you that link is a bit annoying. It's kind of trollish

SMART sometimes freaks out when you minimize it to the tray. I wouldn't recommend it.

There's actually a SMART manager that does the same thing and much more

though i've never used it and not sure if it works with the current ver of smart.

It may be a little annoying but so are the people who would say 'I don't know how much bits I have, tell me please' while they can just google it. I don't think I'm the only one with this opinion.

What happens then? I haven't experienced that so far.

This looks like a helpful tool but I actually only needed a simple program to make it disappear into the system tray. This guide is for users who would want that too without anything else. Thanks for the info though! :)
