When I run a script for 6 hours sometimes it shuts of the smart screen and no new smart screen appears.
I've had a script run for 20 hours or so when I was lucky. Can anyone help me and post suggestions what I can do to make sure smart reloads after the 6 hour thing. I use VEBminer from The Mayor and I run it in directx (had this issue aswell with opengl). Any help appreciated.

same thing happening to me, though i use my own scripts, but yeah, it sometimes work, and sometimes doesent! yeah, i didnt help you at all! haha help us pl0x

It just depends on a lot of things… RS server may randomly go down, your internet may be the culprit, maybe the script you're using has some endless loops where it can't log back in… could be many things.

If you have a well written script with a good internet connection you can typically at least run it for a few days

The thing is I've got a very stable internet connection and use The Mayor's VEBminer which is a very good written script. I've seen multiple progress reports of 30 hours of running the script and beyond that. When I've witnessed it closing the smart after 6 hours and not reopening again,it wasn't my internet or the RS server nor the script since it kept running but no smart or error comes up. It's completely random it seems, I had the feeling the first days I started using simba again it ran most of the times 12+ hours and now it seems to struggle with getting past the 6 hour reset. I'll have a try at another computer and internet and see how it goes.

How long do you wait for it to re open? If you're watching it and it closes SMART after 6 hours, do you wait like two minutes and then stop the script because you think that SMART isn't going to open? It takes around 5 minutes to get a new client open after running for 6 hours.

I haven't waited for 5 minutes when I was watching and seeing it not reopen. Although about 70 % of the times I'm not there to watch it after the 6 hours the smart just hasn't spawned. In these cases it had hours to reopen but it didn't.

I'm 99.9% sure there isn't any infinite loops in that script.

It looks completely random to me. I just woke up and see it has passed 12 hours and it's still running great.

I want to say that after I cleaned up some space on my ssd (from 3 gig free to 7) the smart client respawns about 95% of the times. Not sure if this was related to my problem but it seemed to fix it :D.
