200 miles or so

I've driven down to ATL, Savannah and Augusta before.

Augusta has beautiful houses, more land, and they're quite pricy.

School
@Jake; I think Augusta is more of a retirement community, a lot of old people live here

Rome, Dublin, Cairo… All within the state of Georgia; who know? By the way, I've heard that one might find some Nissan Skylines on the streets in Georgia, or more specifically Atlanta. Can either of you two confirm this?

Probably some roaming around

Oh, I never knew that
Explains those huge acres in most of the houses there
Very similar to most parts of Florida; huge amounts of sq ft for most homes, pretty much another retirement state.

Yeah, in North America we're not that creative with place names. Easier to just steal the name of a country or city and prefix it with "New".

Haha nice man. I moved to the other side of the world (Sydney) recently. Wasn't 100% sure what kind of room I would ideally want. I settled with a large room in a secure unit, big wardrobe, private bathroom and a 10 min walk to work.

Not really a party unit.. got three roommates but I rarely see two of them. Everything is really clean though and overall a really nice place to live. But on one side it would have been nice to have more outgoing roommates. But I think this suits me the best though!

Just gotta make connections in a different way. What kind of place do you have now?

It's in a apartment near school so a majority of the people living there are college students, one of my roommates is pretty social and always has random people over here. I'm not trying to be anti social or nothing but it's hard to feel 'at home' when you got 4 random people he brings over in your apartment unannounced haha. His school doesn't start back until next week so im hopping it will die down :s

Haha yeah that's the downside. I think I chose well for my own personality :P Like to have it clean and somewhat quiet at home, can always do stuff in the weekends or at other places :P I'm in a huge building with a lot of smaller apartments in them, and then I have a unit in one of those :)

Rent here is pretty insane. In NL I share an apartment with just one other person and pay less than half for double the size :P

Nice, how big is the place?

Nice, how big is the place?

The apartment in NL is around 70 square meters and my personal space around 30. Here in Sydney it's about 15-20 I think, but the shared space is a lot bigger. Pretty lucky to get this unit tbh :P Rent is 300$ a week.. But if you check out the other available places:
https://flatmates.com.au/2050/camperdown (all prices are per week)

You can see that it's a very reasonable price for what you get. It includes all bills and came with all furniture and cooking equipment etc. There are cheaper options, but with many of those you share your bedroom…… Personal bedroom starts around 250$ in decent area's, if you want a better area it's closer to 300-350$.

In NL I pay 335 euro's a month. So around 75 euro's a week = 109$. Cost of living is pretty much triple the amount (in dollars). And converting back to euro's it's around twice as expensive. But I'd say it's worth it :)

I have to hit the dorms and I live like 45 minutes away from my college just because I never got my G2 drivers license.
I bet the retirement community is gonna have some nice geezers to have a fat sesh with. They all be like "In WW2 I got off the boat and shot the nazis- Robert would you pass me the dutchy with your left hand?"

Oh god dude. I grew up in Augusta. I lived there from 0-18 years old. HATED IT. So boring. go back to see family every once in a while.

Really great for 30+ people and families though.

Did someone say gravedig?

@Robert, is this partly why you disappeared for a month and came back? :p
