KYAB Discus

Ok KYAB has been released… but I think we should use Other methods for walking for scripts other than KYAB. If you must use KYAB then make two different versions of the script… one with KYAB and one with your method of walking.

please discuss this topic.

EDIT BY Boreas: I changed it to discus

Well, if KEBAB if here to stay, all our previous work has been rendered "old school" in one blow, and thus has become sorta obsolete. I worked nearly 8 hours on walking from Lumbridge to Falador, and it still sometimes need tweaking :). This will all be useless now, unless some Jagex update kills it, but I dont think that is likely to happen, judging by rsdemon.

Sooo, better start adapting to the new standard boys. I think I will give this a try…. Though it remains ofcourse your choice to work with it, if you feel it is suspicious or not safe.

Yea he is an admin.

Personally I'll be building into WebWalker the option to use tiles or not.

I agree with Boreas, we should have some sort of backup-walking.

And I was just wondering, if this becomes public..
Now we judge people, who want become member, on Radial Walking (one of the points people check on); what will that be when this comes out?
It will become even harder to judge when the object finding is integrated.. Basicly all people who read a tutorial about it, could create a superscript. Which on the other hand is a nice thing :).

Not really, how the hell are we supposed to split the talented from the others? What about new devs? How will we choose them now?

That's what I'm saying.
With the nicer thing I ment that people just create there own good script, that does exactly what they want.

Im gonna stick with DDTM's to walk. This is unreliable, it crashes too much… and probally will get detetectable soon.

I would assume it can do perfect walking with map rotation? Or is that still to come?

I'm fairly sure it will be members only.

As for choosing devs, there will always be new challenges.

Same as with B4, it will make some things easy, so you can spend time on other stuff.

I don't think you should become totaly attached to KYAB, really and truly its only a utility. If you can walk without it, do it. Really I decided to work on it only for long distance walking, and finding out where you are. Some may use it more, some may not. It is totaly free for everyone as far as i'm concerned. I was asked by many people to only release it to members, so thats what we decided to do.

I don't think it will die off soon, nor do I think it will become detectable soon.

I do think we should still practice traditional walking (and continue researching ddtm pathwalking, too)
