Advantages/Disadvantages:For me, one disadvantage is the wordiness of the language. There's a lot more typing and it is a lot more time consuming than Java. It is however very EASY to read and understand for beginners coming from any language.
You'll get lots of opinions on the advantages and disadvantages of it. It's easy to find so I won't bother listing them.
Job-wise:http://www.linkedin.com/groups/Is-there-demand-Delphi-developers-3398140.S.5871813501294489602?qid=6da05c93-73b0-4a8e-b254-0145479aae56&trk=groups_items_see_more-0-b-ttlThe answer is plain and simply: No. I've yet to see actual companies coding in pascal and not just having it as a basic skill requirement.

You will much quicker find a job in Java. Especially for mobile development. All in all, pascal is nice for a beginner language but has little real world use (other than the concepts/knowledge you gain from it).
