So I had some alerts go off on the forum I mod for deals.

Bunch of free stuff from New Egg after submitting rebates.
Note that they include antivirus software; you don't even need to use it or open it, simply get the free item that comes with it.

Again..Activation of the crap software is not required.

PS: REMINDING you that you can only claim 1 of each item for your rebate. If you try to claim more than one of each item, you will be charged.


Here are the simple steps to get your free items:
1) Choose the item(s)
2) Click the '$xx.xx Rebate'
3) Download the PDF's, they have all the instructions
4) Fill them out and Submit, very simple to do on any computer.
5) Items will be delivered to you within a week, depending on the inventory left, First come, first served.

I didn't need to activate a single subscription for any of their softwares. These types of rebates come every 2-3 months on ebay.
I was charged about 50 cents on my account, for verification purposes. 2-3 weeks later, the 50 cents was added back to my account after verification was completed.

The credit card is in a way the 'collateral'. If you are caught redeeming more than one of the rebates for a single item, it will charge you, hence that is there.

The subscription is free, no need to activate it, they will charge you a very low amount on your account, less than $1, from between now and august 24th-31st depending on how long this rebate exists. After that, you will get the exact amount (less than $1) back.

What happens when the total cost of the bundle is less than $50, do you still get a $50 rebate?

If so if you got the surge protector they'd be paying you $11 to take it?


Edit: It says that the code is invalid…

If there is an amount remaining, you get to keep whatever is left.
So its technically a $11.01 profit to the redeemer.

Account activation is required to apply the code and to redeem it.
