Simba Mac OS X

Hey all.

I was wanting to know if anyone could link me to Simba for Mac, I believe I saw a port from BraK or Hobbit awhile ago. (I don't want to run it with Wine as I believe it cannot see colours outside of Wine.)

I am looking to run a simple script that uses colours and bitmaps so no need to try and get SMART working.

Cheers.

E: Found this post but the file is deleted. Anyone have copy? https://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=95076 @Hobbit;

Hobbit's just runs in a pre-configured wine wrapper, or wine skin. Your best bet to replicate that specific one would be to just set up the current simba in wine. I'm not sure if this will work with colors outside of wine, but hopefully it would.

I spent a couple of hours trying to port Simba to mac with @wizzup; a few months back, but there were just too many things we'd have to change to get it to compile. I got it to compile, in the end, but it was very broken.

No time to dedicate to trying again at the moment.

This would probably be your best starting point:

I got an itch to work on this again and then I came to the forum and saw your post and my old GitHub repo linked to by @core.

So I spent the last couple of days just seeing where I could get with it. (For reference, the last time I tried I think I spent a couple of weeks and didn't really get anywhere ;))

Like core said, lots of things are broken. Clicking most buttons throws exceptions. I was incredibly surprised to see it compile and run code!
It's still a long ways off with lots of things to fix/implement(see how the mouse position status bar reads "(1680, 528)"? That never changes no matter where you move your mouse), but I felt like this was a pretty exciting step forward
