SRL Archive - General Botting Help

Hi all,

It's been a while since I last used Simba but everything seem pretty much the same set-up wise.

That being said, after following the following guide to the letter I still can't get SMART to load.

I've removed Simba several times and followed the guide on every install but SMART gets stuck at the same point.

Try deleting all the jagex cache files in C:/users/you

I've just tried your suggestion.

It still won't load.
I deleted all Jagex cache files and even reinstalled Simba again but still no luck.

Can you load it from http://www.runescape.com/game ?

What do you mean?

Do you want me to try selecting the client, or do you mean changing the url in the script to http://www.runescape.com/game ?

Go to that URL and load the game.

I could before but, now that I've deleted the cache files it won't load there either.

Any Java popups? hs_err_pid logfies generated on your desktop? Anything at all that might hint as to what's going on?

If I'd had any sort of log or popup I'd probably be able to determine where the problem is but, since there's nothing, I assumed the problem was with Simba or SMART

Press WindowsButton + R to bring up the run command window.
Type: Cmd.exe

In the black window (cmd) type: Java -version


Copy paste what it says here.. Have you tried re-installing Java? Your SMART console says everything is fine as far as I can tell. You have a successful response & it downloaded the gamepack. Perhaps your internet is slow or something is wrong with your Java.

Anyway, try the above.

Sorry for the late reply, was a very busy day yesterday.

java version "1.7.0_65"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_65-b20)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 24.65-b04, mixed mode, sharing)

I've reinstalled Java twice.
I may not have the fastest connection but, my internet is easily fast enough for RS and Simba.

I've solved the issue myself.

After a few hours of messing around I've managed to get SMART to work using the Java 8 beta.

Thanks for your help though guys.
