DTMs/Bitmaps with high resolution display

So I am very new to using Simba (started yesterday) but I have enough of a knowledge of other languages to pretty much understand how to use it. Right now I am just trying to make a script to autobuy runes out of the store (the highest option is "Buy 100" and you can only buy from a store like once every 2 seconds to prevent from someone depleting the shops (yeah I don't know why they didn't just add more stuff to the shops either). I can get it to buy a single type just by setting the coordinates to click on, but I started testing it out with bitmaps and DMTs. The problem I am getting with DMTs is that when I open the DMT editor and load the client, it doesn't load the picture correctly. Due to how the resolution works out, it only ends up loading the top left corner of the client. I wasn't sure if this was something that I should report as a bug, so I came here first to see if anyone knows a fix for it. Sorry if this isn't the right section for this.

it appears that each window is rendering itself with a different resolution or something? never seen this before. Id suggest just loading the desktop rather than the client. might fix this?

Another thing too would be to use @CynicRus;'s DTM Editor from here. https://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=108699

When I load the desktop, it does the same sort of thing, where it will only show the top left portion of the screen, but it is scaled up so that it is the same size as the screen. If I open my display settings in control panel, I have the option to make all windows smaller/larger (right now I am at the largest setting, and they look normal sized on my screen). If I go to the smallest setting, the DTM editor gets it as the right size and includes the entire client, but it's grainy because it is so zoomed out. Thanks for that link to the other DTM editor. I downloaded that, but when I try to target a window, it just shows a black box in the editor. I loaded a picture and made a DTM of a water rune, and it still can't find it. Here is the script I am using to test if the DMT is found in the client, so let me know if something is wrong with this because that might be the problem:

program DTMSnippet;

var

Water, x, y: integer;
Procedure InitDTM;
begin
Water := DTMFromString('mggAAAHicY2NgYHBlYmAIBmI/ILYGYnMgtgDid4wMDC+B+AcUg/jPgFhMZiVQFyMWjB1gU4lQDQAIuwgq');
end;

Procedure FreeItUp;
begin
FreeDTM(Water);
end;

begin
InitDTM;
if FindDTM(Water, x, y, 0, 0, 383, 276) then
writeln('DTM Found!');
FreeItUp;
end.

You should target the window in Simba, after that call GetClientDimensions, after that you should ActivateClient and after that you can try find DTM like

GetClientDimensions(PosX,PosY);
ActivateClient;
if FindDTM(Water, x, y, 0, 0, PosX-1, PosY-1) then
writeln('DTM Found!');

NR had screen-scraper protection way back when, before AgentJags shut it down.

Safe to assume the new version does as well.

I'm not aware of a way around it.

This is a new server (remake) with a different source. I'm assuming it doesnt have protection because it really hasn't had any sort of security until basically this past week, and I've also tried this just using my desktop, so I dont think that would be the issue.

Make sure you target whole client with simba's crosshair ( sometimes you can select only internal frame by mistake). Alternatively you can use "load deskop image" option in dtm editor.

I am doing that. When I target it, the entire window is highlighted and there are no internal frames that it gives me the option to target.

I tried that and still no luck.

Unless we're talking about two different servers, the one hosted @ http://www.near-reality.org is the same source as the old NR of years gone past.

The server is in beta at the moment but they're using the same source. Unless they've purposely removed it, remade the entire source and neglected to add it, or majorly screwed up; NR still kills screen-scrapers.

I believe they are also going to transition back to the old source's data files once testing has completed.

Don't know where you are getting this information, but it is incorrect. There was a beta because we were going to switch back to the old source, but that was scrapped because of all the bugs with it. Right now it is a different source from the old NR.

OT: I went to retry this earlier today (a webclient was released) and somehow it worked perfectly fine. This makes no sense to me as when I tried to use chrome before, it screwed up with the resolutions. I'll check tomorrow to see what specific windows it glitches with.
