How to use SMART Paint without Enable Debug

So with a script i am working on;

If the Boolean[0] is enabled i would like to have a bitmap painted on the screen without all the debug messages printing in debug box.

I have tried:
if not players[currentPlayer].booleans[0] then
begin
disableSRLDebug:= true else
disableSRLDebug:= false;
This successfully turns the debug off but the SMART button(Enable Debug) needs to be clicked over to (Disable Debug) for the paint to work, any ideas as to what i am doing wrong here?

In the main
begin end.
i have:
disableSRLDebug := true;
smartEnableDrawing := true;
setupSRL();

Now the above does exactly what i want when i don't have smartPlugins set to Direct X. Any ideas why this is?

SRL debug (the boolean) is unrelated to SMART debug (the button).

SRL debug is the text that spams the debug box when you run a script without setting disableSrlDebug := true;.

SMART debug is the drawing canvas that's set up when you set smartEnableDrawing := true; in your script. I'm not aware of a way to force SMART to turn it's debug off.

An easy workaround would be to check the boolean in your drawing procedure, and exit if it's true/false.

smartEnableDebug(enable: boolean);
