Bro a quick google search for similar problems can work wonders and save you some money. Plus it'll help you learn (that's what SRL is for) ;)

Don't take it as I'm bashing you or something, just trying to help.

Yeah I know im sorry, but I really don't care too much about this class I just need to get it out of the way during the summer course. I am not too concerned on the actual material however useful it may be to me, I just worry about the grade at the moment. I will try to solve them on my own in fear of no one completing it here, but this offer still stands I really would prefer someone with a decent understanding of this material to do it for me.

I freaking hate linear algebra… Anyways the answer to question one is that
Yes, it does indeed span R4 since the vectors given have four separate dimensions.

If you do solve it, I would be glad to try to check your work over as well. No guarantees though ;)

If you can't do the work you don't deserve the grade. This isn't even hard math.

So I got questions 1, 4, 5, 6, 7 (well part of 7, I have no idea how to use mathematica to plot) I still need help with 2,3,8, and tbh if you could explain 4… I get it, but I don't get the upper limit part (Somewhere I read its just forward subsitition then elsewhere I read I need to find the inverse once I did that)

Did I miss a joke? o.o There is no binary lol

ill have a go for money :p

Update: starting on it, looks simple enough except the last one which I cant seem to remember how to do. Been a few years since I did this, contact me on skype.

How well does it need to be done? Because I tend to do the Gaussian elimination by hand.

So tired, fishing out the old textbook from my uni days

prob 1 done after dding mathematica, can you check if format is ok?

Damn, just seen that you did 1,4,5,6,7.

I will do 3,4 and fully redo the LU factorization if you really want. Been a long time since I learnt this, so ur on ur own for #8 . I can write the mathematica script of you want for #7

Upper "limit" ( I prefer to call it the U Triangle / half) is just the matrix in row Echelon form. To get the Lower, you use the corresponding row operation you used, i.e. Row i minus x times the pivot row you are working on would form the element value for the corresponding U matrix.

:D

Yes please, do anything you feel like you can do. Having two is better than having one, lets be honest mines probably incorrect anyway.

Also yes the form is perfect, whatever problems you can do in that form the better.
My main issue is I don't know how to put things into mathematica

I used to write assignments for cash back in my undergrad days. Once of my clients nearly got caught once so I stopped :whistling:
