SRL Archive - OSR Fishing

Alright, during a 24 hour coding day/night I just had, I scripted myself a nice AIO Fisher. It has the ability to cook the raw food with a fire made from a tree's log and tinderbox. As well as the traditional banking. Everything is customizable, so adding new areas is very easy, so if you have any suggestions, please name it.

Make sure you have the required levels for whatever you plan on doing. Also make sure you have an useable axe (wielded or not) and tinderbox if you plan on cooking food. Make sure you have the bait (if needed) and the correct tool in your inventory.

FAQs:

• Q: Script doesn't start! It just says 'Successfully executed.'!
• A: Make sure you are filling out the 'Location' and 'Fish' boxes at the top and then press the 'Play' button.

• Q: Doesn't work! I'm getting 'Hooks are outdated. No need to post about it, we are currently working on it.'!
• A: The Reflection 'Hooks' are outdated because Jagex updated RuneScape. You are going to have to wait for the reflection devs to update their include.

• Q: What does the 'Amount to catch' box do? Why is it -1?
• A: Leave it at -1 to have the script never stop after catching the amount given of fish. Change it to the amount of fish you want the script to catch before having the script stop.

• Q: How exactly do I use the 'AntiBan Often' box?
• A: Its how often to perform antiBan procedures. A higher value would mean a LESS chance of doing AntiBan.

• Q: I get 'Exception in Script: Unknown compiler directives at 5:3' when I run the script.
• A: Make sure Simba's interpreter is in 'Lape' mode. Click 'script' on the top of Simba.

• Q: What does barb fish do? When should I use it?
• A: Barb fish is for when you plan on doing barbarian fishing without using tools. For sharks, swordfish and tunas.

• Q: Script doesn't login or do anything when I start it or doesn't enter a building properly or turn run on properly.
• A: Make sure data orbs are toggled on, as well as removing roofs. And make sure you are in fixed mode and not resizeable, try turning on resizeable mode, and then off.

• Q: I get 'Error: File "Reflection/Reflection.Simba" not found at line 4' or 'Error: Plugin(prosocks32) has not been found'.
• A: You didn't install one of the includes correctly, make sure you install them right.

• Q: I am getting 'Error: File "[Reflection] ineedbot's functions.simba" not found at line 6'.
• A: Make sure that when you run the update, you move both the files it creates to the SAME folder.

• Q: Script keeps clicking an item in my inventory.
• A: Because the item has over 100k or more quantity, it has the same color as selecting an item, try reducing the item's quantity.

• Q: Script doesn't click anything on screen accurately.

• A: The 'functions' are not meant to be ran. You are supposed to run the script.

There is a fly fishing spot at the fishes, and a salesman who will buy the fish just north of the fishing spots. I've heard its the best fishing xp/h anywhere, faster than shilo village.

One thing I noticed, is it will sit awhile between cooking food and starting fires, when it first starts the fire it will always hover to a tile next to the fire first for 5-15 seconds and then proceed to cook. very solid script though, got me to 45 fishing in one day, and got a solid 3hr+ run. About to test out the catherby location.

Hey man, loving the script so far. Theres just one problem im having at barbarian village. When it cuts the wood for the fire, it just drops the wood and walks around it and does nothing. Any suggestions?

Nvm found the problem. I guess my FM skill isnt high enough and i light fires to slow, so the bot doesent give it enough time to light. Is there a value i can change to extend it?

Is there a tutorial for how to setup reflection?

Yea, its the GetClosestFire function, have a look at line 385, Objects := R_GetObjectsDistance(OBJ_GAME, 25);. change the 25 to a lower number, like 10 or 15, its the distance it checks for a nearby fire.

Cool :), how easy do you think it would be to add shilo village? It's the one location I've been waiting for with fly fishing.

Well, my mains hasnt got much quest points.. So i can't really add things or areas i can't access.. I can give the 'dev' script i use to view all the NPCids, animation id and location, etc.

You can find it as an attachment on this post. Just run it and it'll debug all things on the screen.

River troll killed me :P.. script wont flee. Can you make it only bank fish too - without cooking ? + noticed now that it wont flee from tree spirit too..

For some reason the script just keeps stopping randomly, will work fine for 10 minutes then randomly just stops but the status will still say all is good. I've tested 1.0 and 1.1, seems to be happening for both versions.

Edit- Realized that because I had the fps bar down low the (LoggedIn) srl function was resulting false due to the fps bar, switched it to - until((R_GetLoginState < 11) or (R_GetLoginState > 30));
at the end of the main loop and it seems back to running fine with the fps down.

Use the dev.simba i posted, run it at the place you want to fish at and look at the ids and what not, fill it out, or post screenshots of the ids on the screen, etc.

What do you mean? Like no cooking and just drop/bank the fish? You can configure it, you can disable cooking by looking for 'canCook' and setting it to false. Just tell what you want to have no cooking at.

i want it to just bank caught trout and salmon.. without makeing any fire or cook fish. Will it run away from troll now ?
btw. im using the 1.2 script and i cant get it running.. it trys constantly go to the hut (over the river, shortcut for hillgiants).

Oh I think i can fix that… with R_CombatRandoms. Anyways, its the reflection anti randoms having to do with combat randoms. I'll disable it as its not needed.

The script itself runs pretty smoothly and flawless.

I'm using Draynor and my account is level 3. Problem here is that the dark wizards are ruthless. I had to edit the paths from the bank to the fishing spot, from the fishing spot to the trees and then to the bank.

I've been turning it on and off and i'm going to run it and see how long it lasts.

suggestion: Add an option to not cook the fish, I'd rather do than separately :)

I'm think about that… I'd just make it into a checkbox on the form (if i were to create one…) however, you could disable cooking by changing the canCook var to false in the DeclareVars

Tested your script and it is working very well except some few bugs: (This is only for Draynor)
- If random while cooking and it gives you an item (lamp in my case) and the inventory is filled. It will get stuck in a loop trying to chop down a tree. (because full inventory)
- After about 2hrs it couldn't find the fishing spot and ran south. tried to get to the island.
- When banking, it does not bank random items. So if you leave it for long enough, it will fill the inventory. could change it to: (line 595)

Deposit(4, 28, true);

- I'm getting warnings on AntiBan - HoverSkill - ** Warning in GameTab: Tab 35 is not a valid tab number. **
- And this one from somewhere - ** Warning in SkillToCoords: Invalid Skill Number: '26' **

Other than that, this is working perfectly! :)
I will continue on the other locations once I reach a higher lvl (just started this acc)

EDIT:
Now doing harpooning at catherby (option 4):
- The player runs behind the bank, not in to it. (fix I posted did not work)
- Would be lovely if it could use the Evergreens close by to cook, or perhaps selling at the close by shop.

Amazing script, yet to encounter any problems. Currently fishing Lobbies at Catherby.

BTW Thanks for the reflection tutorial link!

Still try's to walk other side of the river in barbarian village (to the hut as mentioned before).

v1.3 will come out here soon, it'll have better clicking because it'll check if the tile is on the screen rather than checking being 3 tiles near it. It'll have better running away from hostile randoms. It'll have paths to bank and back rather than blind walking. It'll allow catherby cooking at the range. And maybe karamja fishing and banking and cooking, you know… for the F2Ps…

That would work. But you didnt need to comment out the burnt fish ids and cooked fish ids, simply making canCook false will stop cooking altogether.

I guess the whole nick name thing is nullified when it comes to reflection. Used to work very well in detecting individual randoms back in the color days.

Oh really? Hmm… I could remove it the Edit box… But doesn't reflection randoms use some SRL randoms if reflection can't solve the random?

I downloaded version 1.3 but now when the script clicks on existing user it pauses and does not proceed to enter login details and just stops at the login screen.

Apparently you are putting in the world wrong on the startup form. Make the world something like '30' or '93, etc.

Ok problem fixed, I left the world box empty in the start up form assuming it would pick a random world for me as it did in v1.2.

Btw the bot gets stuck in the Frog princess random event and my character is morphed into a frog and is just stuck in the random, any way to fix this? Otherwise great bot!

I dont think the script handles the random events, i think its the reflection include that does it. u should ask them to fix and improve the randoms

Weird… Maybe your reflection include is bugged. Try reinstalling the reflection include.

I've googled this and found many different fixes, i've tried opening Runescape in browser, updating Java, Disabling antivirus, yet nothing has fixed it. Any idea why this is appearing for me?

Keep retrying. Maybe put in a fixed world number like '30' or '94'. This is just a smart/srl-osr bug.

I find that the bot doesn't bank items obtained through random events such as beer and kebabs from the drunken dwarf event and strength pots, etc.

Yes, I believe that happens when a hook is broken and it cannot grab the data needed… Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hiya, i got the Script running fine but it is having trouble with some of the Randoms. I have on several occasions been teleported by the Sandwich lady, The Mysterious old man box cannot be solved and i end up with about 12 of the boxes in my inventory, The princess frog cannot be solved and i end up in the frog cave. Are these randoms unsolvable by the bot? as they appear quite often..

But just to conclude, the bot runs brilliantly otherwise!

I have the same problem as him.

Still running it at the moment, it just managed to solve the mystery box random but it seems to very inconsistent. It also managed to solve the Genie and Drunken Dwarf random with no problems

alright thanks, and I just use the in-program simba DTM editor.

Some things I've noticed.

- The whirlpool detection isn't great. I keep losing poles to it
- The drop speed is a little slow. I haven't figured out how to speed it up.
- It's not great at some randoms: giles always teleports me. frog random always gets me.

I could try and do somekind of 'faster' dropping method. Shift keys.
I can improve the whirlpool detection, right now if two of the same whirlpools overlap each other, it might ignore the whirlpool if there is one.
My script doesn't handle the randoms, its F_AntiRandoms and reflection anti randoms.

Along with the whirlpool, there's also that spitting fish. he just shoots the rod on the ground somewhere.

It'll handle that, it checks the ground and picks up the equipment if it detects that theres no equipment in the users inv,

Literally the best script on the Villavu. Ineedbot deserves a medal. I've used your fishing guild fisher until it was outdated and I've been using this script daily. Would like to see a force disable fishing feature if it's remotely possible. Other cooking scripts don't even begin to compare to this script's capabilities and I'd like to rush 94 cooking. Regardless this script is outstanding and I appreciate all of the time that you're putting into it and how you're still updating it. I'm taking this horse to 99 fishing if I can.

It no longer seems to work however, I got logged out, on the log in screen it said runescape has been updated. I'm guessing it has something to do with that. Has some trouble at the Barbarian Village fly fishing spots with banking activated. It will have trouble detecting if a fishing spot has moved or if your inventory is full, and will spend a lot of time standing around between actions.

I got mine to work, all I did was remove everything that kept popping up as an error in F_Antirandoms. If you want you can use mine to see if they work.

Thanks Coranger, I did end up figuring out what to remove and I did get the script running, but I think I may have taken away more functions than I needed to, because now my script is failing randoms that it hadn't before. So I appreciate you giving me yours and it appears to have fixed the problems I was having with the changes I had made to my antirandoms when I run it with yours. Thanks man!

Can you post the whole debug? I don't know how you got that error with just Field not found.
The script is working perfectly right now for me.

Also since I've changed my AntiRandoms folder, when I start it for the first time it won't start fishing after it's walked down from the bank and I have to restart it at the fishing spot to get it to begin. excuse me, im at the karamja fisher, and before it banks at the deposit box it keeps just pauses. and on the java it keeps spitting out a lot of e j and aj letters. what do i do

I tried different setting but It still does not work. The banking deposit does not work at karamja. Or maybe my setting agian need tweaking, help would be appreciated. Thank you so much

Edit : to clarify, each time OSRS is updated, there are things called "hooks" which change, effectively breaking Reflection scripts until an update is made.

No worries, usually hook updates are relatively quick around here. That's the problem of using Reflection, it breaks when OSRS is updated.

Yea its a broken hook… I guess you could turn on 'barb fish' at the start so it ignores looking for a tool…

Added v2.1, changed up the GUI added more locations, and now uses an updater, similar to my woodcutter script.

It works flawless until the banking part, then it just stands there… could i have some help lol?

I bet its opening Login.simba… its not really part of my script. Try changing whats in for the username box.

i got everything to work now, but when the client starts up, it wants me to put in my username and password so thats what i do and after that it gets stucked at the welcome screen. i see a small red dot doing nothing and i cant press anything either. :s

You can 'disable' the bot by pressing Disable Smart, this allows you to retake control of the bot and input anything you want, to reenable the bot, just Enable Smart.

Right now it seems like a recent update with the include broke finding NPCs, you should post on the include's thread.

it cant bank at shilo because shilo bank is not left click only. it needs right click and then select bank. please fix

figuted it out. At line 1148 change customBank := true; to customBank := false; . Then it will bank but takes some time.

Okay with sparkyownage's help i got it working but when i am fishing at Otto's it keeps selecting the feathers and when it tries to drop the fish it doesnt work, it just sits there using the feather on all the fish not dropping them.

If you have more than 100k feathers, SRL's Activateditem function will return a false positive… SRL's fault, not mine. To fix this just deposit enough feathers so its less than 100k.

The script keeps getting stuck on randoms. It got stuck on the mysterious old man's random, it didn't even solve it, or click on the box, or anything, but in the script debug it said the random was solved, and so when it went to drop the items, it couldn't drop the box and the box kept replicating until the script terminated. Also, earlier, the random guy spawned, and was waiting for me to talk to him, but the debug automatically said that it failed to solve the random, and logged out.

Well idk why its dropping it… The id is correct. can you confirm its defiantly dropping the tool? Make sure the location is set and turn off barb fishing. (its only used for the bare handed fishing)

when it opens the bank, the status never changes and it keeps right clicking around.

A deposit box option would be a quick fix, im not sure how to code it though

using the dev.simba script, the bank deposit box id is '1147'.

I could also help making a bitmap for the tab's bankscreen if needed

I'm learning a lot just by looking inside your code. To me, who is a noob when it comes to script, it has been easy to find and change things as I need. I have one quick question though. What do you use to find coordinates?

Try closing out of the script completely and restarting. If not then try restarting Simba all-together.
My apologies, this was in response to whomever got the error when starting the script. I know that restarting the script from scratch usually fixes any error. One more thing and I'll stop posting in here haha. For karamja it is best to do the quest so yo can just right click and pay the fare. Seems to work flawlessly then. occasionally running to cook the fish at the tree it will go inside with bananas, but it has seemed to fix itself. If you edit the coordinates a tiny bit you should have no problems at all.

I've been using your script for a while and am loving it!! The one problem i've came across is having to return to it every hour or so and make sure that my character hasn't got stuck at a random event such as the frog or the mysterious box (which keeps duplicating and blocking my inventory up). I just read that you have been working on an incldue to fix the current anti-randoms within reflection, are you going to release this? if not, is there any way i can try and make the anti-random include work again so that it beats all the randoms?

You can try checking that the ID's are correct. I know they do frequent updates of the ID's of objects.

Hi. I managed to get the bot running somehow but it seems the walking path to fishing spot in catherby and walking back to bank are somehow wrong. Bot triest to run to bank, but the path will lead to near Camelot. Is there something wrong with the path or how is this fixable? Thank you

I'm attempting to fish in Catherby, lobster - With cooking and banking enabled. It manages to get about halfway to the fishing spots, and then I get this error: [ATTACH=CONFIG]24833[/ATTACH]

Also, I tried Tuna fishing in Catherby too - It just keeps left clicking the fishing spots, and attempt to "cage" the spots, instead of choosing the Harpoon option.

Any help appreciated :/

It shouldn't look for prosocks32, but prosocks.. I just checked the history and it has never looked for "32". Can you find me where it includes prosocks32? It should be in misc.simba but should only be "prosocks".

Script is working fine for me now, if I can get it to work overnight I'll post some proggies.

One problem that came up for me however was powerfishing; when I tried the fishing option at Barb Village my invo would get full, and it'll just stop and do nothing. I tried the 'cooking' option but it would not attempt to chop a tree to cook the fish at all, as it would allow the invo to get full and subsequently do nothing.

In any case do you have any idea how to reduce the 'flickering' of the text on the client? The text on the proggy, and the 'fishing spot' flicker non-stop. Not a huge issue by any means, just wondering if i'm the only one having this issue.

When that message appears, yes that is the case. For whatever reason, you are getting that by mistake this time. I would try redownloading the reflection include and trying again

EDIT: Seems to be working without erroring! However, I still encounter the same problem when trying to fish for Tuna in Catherby - For some reason it just left clicks the fishing spots, resulting in it attempting to fish lobster, instead of fishing for Tuna. :)

Well no, KeepBotting was completely correct given the circumstances. Considering the Output said to not post about it and all..

Here's a ~4 hour proggy. It isn't extremely stable at Barb waterfall; it will sometimes go to the northeastern fishing spot and then not be able to move back if the fishing spot moves to the usual position. It will also gives an error that the 'ye is too high' or something. Accidentally closed simba, so if I do get it again I shall post it.

That aside I love the script, thanks ineedbot!

For barb fishing just bring a heavy rod and bait. Knife isn't required unless you want to cut the fish, but the script takes a long time to do that, so I advice against it. Check the 'force disable bank' and 'force disable cook' and it will drop the fish.

Yes, it banks. Though I just logged in and it said my PIN was asked to be changed several minutes ago O_O
I wasn't near the computer and few hours ago I saw it was logged off during the night(6 hours period worked well).

I saw the PIN deleting countdown just started few minutes ago- Could it be the Script ordered that since I didn't input my PIN?

In addition, I was standing with the same gear as yesterday at the fishing spot with a full bag.


what might have happened to have led to this circumstances?

I don't have a bank pin, so I've never needed to actually set that part up :p . What are your settings though? Do you check 'force disable cook' and 'mousekeys'? And are you using the latest version (3.1)? Mine seems to get the "access violation at line 12" the moment it tries to bank.

Yes, I do not cook what I fish right away. Never checked 'Use Mousekeys' or 'Barb Fishing'. Just 'force disable cook' and I am set :)

For barb fishing just bring a heavy rod and bait. Knife isn't required unless you want to cut the fish, but the script takes a long time to do that, so I advice against it. Check the 'force disable bank' and 'force disable cook' and it will drop the fish.

Are you using v3.1? Have you made sure that 'Barb Fishing' is unchecked, and 'Mousekeys', 'Force disable bank/cook' is checked? If you are then I'm not entirely sure what the problem is sorry!

Hey, ineedbot. I really enjoyed using this script. There are a couple of things i noticed that were small, but i think fixing them would help the integrity of the script.

1) I noticed the bot "moonwalked" when banking in Catherby (did this once in the 1h 30mins I ran the script), (fishing lobsters). By this I mean the script would accidentally click the banker that is standing in the back of the bank. My character would then run around to the back of the bank, stand for a second then click on the correct banker, run around then bank correctly.

2)The script would instantly change fishing spots. I let the client pick the best world for me and there were very few people in the world it chose (W42). I was instantly targeted as a bot because of how quickly I "reacted" to the changing of the fishing spots.

**3)Not sure if this is related, but the worlds were very laggy yesterday and I kept getting disconnected. After i was disconnected the script never logged itself in. There was never an error shown. The debug box was only saying "not logged in" infinitely. I left it for 10 minutes to see if it would eventually log me in, but it did not.

These aren't necessarily problems with the script, but i feel it would be better if these issues were addressed.
As for advice on how to fix them I unfortunately can not give any.

I suicided the script earlier today for 3 hours and 44 minutes. I came home to this error in the debug box.

@ineedbot The above error breaks the script. I just got the same error. It was trying to do an anti ban.

When I ran this script, it loaded the bot window but when i try to start it, it said something about java path not found at C:\ProgramData\Oracle\Java\javapath\java.exe. I looked up the error and someone suggested deleting the 3 shortcuts in the folder but when I did that, it then threw an error that says "windows cannot find java.exe. make sure you type the name correctly, and try again". I tried setting my java variable path but it doesn't do anything. Any ideas?

Alright thanks, I think I found a good way to stop the script from getting stuck while opening the bank. I'll figure out the other things later.

Nah running off Windows 7 64-Bit. I prefer to use as updated software as possible for security purposes or I would install older Java. Suppose I could run it in a virtual machine to be safe. I just can't understand why it's having issues finding the java path even when I manually add it.

I've been heavy rodding at otto's area for quite a while. For the most part its amazing, but it makes 2 mistakes.

The first is this: [ATTACH=CONFIG]24954[/ATTACH] Any idea what caused it? It occurs quite randomly, I can run it for hours (furthest i've gotten is 9 hours) or sometimes minutes before it gets this error.

The second I don't have debug for, but basically it'll go and fish on the north-east side of the area (north-east of the whirlpool to ancient cavern) and it'll continue fishing, but when the fishing tile moves it can't detect the other tiles and just stops.

Any idea on how to solve this issue?

It appears you were F2P… Jagex is banning hard on F2P… I can never get a steady F2P account botted if I tried.

I got 99 fishing from using my script, got 99 woodcutting on my script, and 99 hunter on a chin script I made, all reflection. No ban yet. But I haven't really botted on it in a while. Maybe since September I botted on my main.

Very reckless botting too:It was hunting red chins; however that XP an hour is horrid… But it was because of how i scripted it… It was before I started using the player walking queue and etc to speed up the script. Oh and the xp an hour glitched up, must of hit int32 limits or something. The best xp an hour I got after improving my script was about 90-100k an hour xp.

I however, always babysat, I however didn't stare at the bot… I used reflection to detect if there was any nearby players, and when there was I had the script give me a sound notification. I then took control of the script and presented myself as legit.

Pascal/Lape is really easy to learn. Most of the knowledge is using the include and knowing the game itself. I just script for a way to pass time and so I auto runescape.

I suppose the key is to have stats/play time to being with.

I think quests points help as well drastically… skiller accounts are the hardest

Really didn't want to post here without figuring this out myself, but I've used this script before and was getting back into osrs and wanting to use it again. Definitely downloaded all the includes you said to download and put them in the right place but I am still getting this error, any tips? Also I love this script, really inspires me to start a script of my own here.

There is a bug when big net fishing in Catherby. The bot clicks the same fishing position over and over. It clicks then moves the mouse off screen then moves back to the same spot and clicks again. I have a feeling it is a problem with checking for animation. However I did not look closely.

I think adding breaks would be a good idea.
Been using this script for hours and hours without any problems in barbarian village.

I have both java 8 31 and java se dk 64bit 8 11 installed and can run SMART fine, although sometimes I'll get an error, I just try again and it usually works. And that mainly happens when I already have a SMART window open and try starting a script after stopping one.

Well, it depends on if the 64 bit overrides the 32bit java (Guess you could change it from the environment paths)
I just ran into that issue before since I re-set my PC and installed 64bit java after installing 32bit

For those using JRE 8 I had the same issue with smart cannot spawn clients but it was fixed when I uninstalled all Java 8 versions and installed java 7 x86 alone.

For the script author I found a bug where the bot gets stuck outside edgeville bank (fly fishing trout at barb vill with cook/bank enabled) when it turns run mode on and runs to the bank. When run mode is not on it seems to work fine but when it turns run on it stands outside bank clicking the roof (right underneath the cursor is the actual bank booth itself) and I had to move the camera a bit so you could see inside the bank and then it managed to click the booth and deposit. Other than that it seems to be working well (I would suggest a status update where it performs some antiban)

I can also confirm what cyanogen said above concerning the issue with stopping outside of the edgeville bank although I was able to get it to bank with run on several times.

Reflection got an overhaul (https://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=112081) so most scripts that use it will be broken until updated.

Now I'm not a scripter and it's been a long time since I've read much code BUT if you still have access to the old reflection include you can sufficiently disable the auto update by setting the Reflection.simba function: CheckIncludeUpdate result to False.

buyer beware on taking advice from me though my machine could blow up any second.

Well looking at elfy's post and using my knowledge of git I managed to checkout an older version of the reflection and replace it in my includes folder. Now it's compiling and running fine so far (hopefully the antiban thing doesnt come back if it happened because of an update to reflection..) If you want instructions or want me to share this older include I can just PM me.

I have updated the script manually and am sending ineedbot the new file, so that he may post it to the thread/his updater.

Its going to take alot of renaming and other things… Give me some time to update the script.

It works wonderfully now.

One think I've noticed is that sometimes on the way from Karamja to Port Sarim the script fails to pay the fare and tries to go the Port Sarim drop box while still on Karamja.

right! i started realizing right before i read your post that it was probably a delete/replace process. but i didn't want to screw anything up, of course at first i had thought it would have been a simple update check on simba itself. its working fine now, 84 fishing 88 cooking 99 here i come!

@ineedbot There is a bug when big net fishing in Catherby. The bot clicks the same fishing position over and over. It clicks then moves the mouse off screen then moves back to the same spot and clicks again. I have a feeling it is a problem with checking for animation. However I did not look closely.

everything on the entire site is minutes or "amount" (like lobsters caught 1 is obviously 1 lobster.. runecrafting xp 1 is 1 xp etc)

Hey guys, I'm having a little trouble figuring out why I keep ending up in the exact same mouse pos on the "options" game tab and just spent an embarrassing amount of time failing to figure out what the problem is. It happens usually, but not exclusively, after reaching a fishing spot or bank. It seems to happen more so than the 18 cases of doAnAnti at these events but I couldn't find anything relevant so I suppose I can attribute that to variance for now. That said it looks almost certainly to be a result of randomTab rolling on tab_options 100% of the time.

*Edit: took out the randomTab case in the scripts antiban function. Still goes to options tab.
* Should also note that is new since the latest reflection/script 3.2 updates.

I dug into the function and its dependencies and despite finding what appears to be a range discrepency in Aerolibs antiban.simba

AllTabs := RandomRange(21, 37); //should be 34?

I found nothing that would skew the randomness of the result.
I also ran a test script with randomTab and randomFKeys(just in case) and the tab selection was random as intended.

Something about this script in particular or possibly an interaction with reflection, is resulting in this 100% options tab result.
If anyone else has noticed this or has any ideas, I would LOVE to hear them because It's driving me up a wall.

Seems like if you set Antiban = '0' it doesn't get stuck anymore and runs flawlessly.

I fixed the antiban, and the 'options' always opening… However I don't know why it would get stuck at catherby fishing…

There's a bug where sometimes the bot gets stuck on the ship from Karamja to Port Sarim. It thinks that it has crossed the plank off of the ship and clicks in the direction of the deposit box. Bot gets off the ship eventually, but it's suspicious.

Sharks is more munny though so fistbek has a tidy sum in his bank. Maybe add some prices or bank made to the GUI.

Uusually, if SMART fails to spawn it client, it's an issue with you not being able to reach the RS servers. Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't OSRS servers been having intermittent attacks lately?

The next time this happens, quickly open a web browser and attempt to navigate to whichever server SMART is trying to use (oldschoolXX.runescape.com), or open a terminal and ping the server.

You might wannna post this above in the OP; I have tried testing different methods to stop the bot getting stuck in all of the location and through the past two days I have found a solution. If you click on 'hide graphics' and only show them when you want a proggy it eliminates all 'stuck'ness…

If you have over 100k feathers… it will think its 'activated', just dont have more than 100k feathers

LMAO! most accounts need to be matured in their infants stages to avoid being banned.. take it slow until level 50.. then step it up.. after 80-90 happy days. i seem to take a lot of bans in the 90's as then they start suspecting someone has a gold farm. Time for a new skills i guess. =P

Make sure to have areolib updated and have the script updated… Everything is working fine, just make sure everything is updated (even rerun the updater)

Happens with me too, for the documents.
It can't find the java path in whatever it's looking for, so it finds it in another path and opens documents for some reason.
Something aerolib related, about the new update. I don't know what specifically, but I know it's something with aerolib's path finding to spawn smart.

Also, if anyone cares, I rectified my issue. Fisher works like a charm and I think it's smoother after the aerolib update, but maybe I'm jus tripn'.

Why is it that the program keeps overlaying my other programs? For example, if I was one Chrome, the bot would suddenly just pop out.

And this is another suggestion (may sound a bit assholish but true none the less) about maybe not trying to run so many updates in a week. i understand people have bug complaints but to update it everytime you get 1 or a few people in lets say 1000 (assuming) that are using it, is no reason to update it. lately i haven't been able to take a shit without coming back and realizing my bot timed out because an update….like i said maybe sound like an asshole but im not wrong. no biggie either way just an annoyance.

Havent had that problem, and I have been running my bot for 20 hours a day. This script is god mode and I wouldnt know where the error came from

no need to be rude, and im having a problem now where my bot won't even run for more than 2 hours without shutting down and basically spamming player inactive…and btw this happened…AFTER the updates. i also noticed it has been doing it right outside catherby cooking range with a full invy of shark maybe ill catch it today when it actually happens

To start off, you were the rude one first. if anyone every says "I dont meant to sound racist, but…" something very racist will follow. (just replace racist with rude or 'sound like an asshole' or sexist or anything that offends people)

Anyway. You keep talking about the updates. This script hasnt been updating every few hours (trust me, ive been running it for the past week and its still on version 2.3).

You might be talking about this script's dependencies that are updating often (reflection namely and possibly aerolib) and they both support auto-updates. However, I don't think them updating will affect your script mid-execution. Right so your original post about the updates was actually misplaced (wrong thread) because the script writer for this AIO script is not responsible for the updates for the dependencies that he's using (which I believe reflection is maintained by elfyy and aerolib by hawk or flight or whoever). That worked for me after I updated AeroLib.
Try removing then readding AeroLib, Reflection and the Script (after saving your settings) and see if that works.

Alright, during a 24 hour coding day/night I just had, I scripted myself a nice AIO Fisher. It has the ability to cook the raw food with a fire made from a tree's log and tinderbox. As well as the traditional banking. Everything is customizable, so adding new areas is very easy, so if you have any suggestions, please name it.

Make sure you have the required levels for whatever you plan on doing. Also make sure you have an useable axe (wielded or not) and tinderbox if you plan on cooking food. Make sure you have the bait (if needed) and the correct tool in your inventory.

Have you filled in the form fully including area and what fish to actually fish in that area?

Been having problems Harpoon fishing (For Tuna/Swordfish), in both Catherby and the Fishing Guild.
It keeps clicking the same spot, like without ever taking a break. The status never changes from "Going to fishing spot…" - So I assume it's a problem with detecting that it's actually fishing?

im still having problems with it only running an unprecedented amount of hours and then shutting down with a full inventory of sharks standing exactly in the doorway of the cooking building in catherby, same spot everytime and all it says is player inactive, i never had this problem before all the updates they just ran through. now you can see why i would be irritated, it started an unnecessary problem that I have to figure out. any suggestions??

There was a ninja update on the reflection include (meaning, it will not autoupdate to this version) that fixed a potential infinite loop with widgets, and the inventory is a widget… So try force updating the reflection include (by reinstalling it).

The script keeps clicking on the fishing guide and getting stuck on it. It never closes and ends up just sitting there doing nothing. Is there a way to fix this or turn this feature off? It seems this happens every time a level is gained.

SOLVED by turning chats off. The script will read the chat that a level has been gained and will immediately click on that respective skill's guide.

Hey needbot still got a great script no bans and I'm actually using your script to bot two accounts at once and I get the Stats: You're committing too fast Shame on you! Message in the window. Haha. Any warnings against botting multiple accounts with the same script (not the same worlds) with probably the same IP?

Account got stuck trying use the food on the range in Catherby. The camera was turned around too far in the other direction and it could not click on it. This has happened twice now; if it happens again I'll get a screenshot for the post. Settings: catherby, harpoon tuna/swords, cook, barb style, bank.

As usual I love this script, but I just want to bring it to your attention though that at the Fishing Guild after depositing all of the fish, it [rotates] the camera up and down for a while, trying to find a fishing spot all the way from the bank booth. I'd like to thank needbot, myself, and ineedbots, SRL, Hawke, elfyy, and every1 else.

Got 30-99 fishing in around 3 weeks?

According to stats I have 288 hours on the script on my account. (more because I was using it before stats integration)

Here's my level distributions:

Fly fishing to 40 at barb vill

lobs to 70

hand fish tuna and swords to 76

otto fishing straight to 99.

Now as to the cash stack I only made money in the first 40-76 levels which was about 7m. I chose the total XP route by otto'ing it (get it?) and I don't regret it because I got 74 str and 73 agility at the same time (both were extremely low when I started otto)

A few post-script suggestions I can offer (whatever I can think of nothing major)

-stop the load window from saving if you click the save button but havn't modified anything and stop it from overwriting the actual save data
-time to level information (TTL) using XP till next level and XP/hr calculation.
-hideable paint (I heard you can do this SMART never did it though)

Hey ineed, script is running great for me so far however I find when banking while fishing Monkfish, the mouse movements seem to be struggling to find the banker and move randomly around the screen in a bot-like manner, especially if the banker himself is moving. I got this quite frequently, it was actually a bit of a problem when fishing a karajama as bot would sometimes get stuck when going to talk to npc while it had a pm open. I turn off public chat while fishing with this bot, however that may not be the best solution :P.

Works very well. I looked through it and I have to say - I admire your coding.
Also, I tried putting in the srl stats (http://stats.villavu.com/) functionality into it, but it is harder than I thought. It's all in pascalscript and this is in lape.
Perhaps you would consider adding that functionality? I see it uses third party stats and that was probably at the time srl stats were down.

Great script! Working flawlessly so far.

Got about 20 10 hour+ proggies on the same account, did sharks only. Will post all the progies once I get banned. Great script man.

One thing about sharks @ fishing guild, is that sometimes it harpoons swordfish/tuna. I'm not sure how or when, since I leave it on overnight, but I wake up to see the char logged out, the debug says [AL] Player inactive and the last picture it took was at the bank with an inv of swordfish and tuna. Guessing the shark mode doesn't have a failsafe for depositing any other fish gained, I'm not sure if the giant swordfish or giant shark is included (had a giant swordfish in my inv). I'll see if I can snip out depositing swordies/tuna from another part of the script and add it i, but just thought I'd let you know.

I made it switch players to prevent bans and it runs very well.
Also attached the proggie down there just so it would be there when this host doesn't work anymore.

However ik the error, its caused by having more than 100k of something and it makes the white text ('100k', etc), to fix simply just have less 100k coins on ur person

botting for 5-6 hours a day is nothing man! are you sure you hadn't used an injection client the past in the past? i.e. powerbot, tribot

Tbh I've ran this script on a new account which lasted 2 days without getting banned, only using this script whereas, on my main which is 10 yrs + old I've been able to run it for 100's of hours without any warnings/bans. The way in which they ban seems to take much more into account than just what you're farming and for how many hours, whether it is account age/training multiple skills/questing/etc.

It can't find the AND_TPA32.dll plugin that you should have downloaded and placed in your 'Plugins' folder (Simba > Plugins/).

I've noticed that this only seems to be happening with a barb-tailed harpoon or barbarian fishing. If you just have a normal harpoon in your inventory it should be fine. Although, this is just the case for me so it might not be for you. I hope this script is fairly safe :P Maybe make sure barbarian fishing is checked if you're using it?

I've found that most little minor unnatural things that this script will do is simply fixed with a restart of either smart or just simply restarting the script. For example… The constant right clicking of 'harpoon fishing spot' while you're already fishing that spot will be fixed with a reset. Also sometimes i noticed maybe it occurs when u restart and stop the script on the same smart client for too long sometimes the green progress reports on the screen will disappear, for that one just start up smart again. And another one small bug is when i noticed I'll be fishing sharks and randomly it will go to fish for swords and tunas(not very often but it does happen) That will cause the whole script to jam up because when it goes to bank the fish it doesn't know to deposit the swordfish and tunas but only the shark. So that as well can be fixed with a simple restart of the script.


As for people talking about bans and whatnot with this script. I had about 5 accts banned by this script. But that in no way was because of THIS script specifically. In my own opinion, each acct i was using to bot fishing had either been brand new accts or accts that had been doing no other purpose in the game other than to fish from lvl 1 til i could catch sharks on them to just stock money for my main. I also think that its a great idea to set the script up to catch 'x' amount of fish. I like to set my acct to catch anywhere between 150 - 600 sharks at a time, and i base my decision on how much to catch based on how much i was playing legit gaining other skills and communicating with other players whether through stakes or questing, whatever. So the more time i spend playing the game at night and before i go to bed, ill set it up to catch more sharks then if fishing was the first thing i was doing when logging in on the acct. And since I'm 88 fishing and i catch about 110 - 120 sharks a hour its basically 4 hours of playing to catch about 500 - 600 sharks and since i was playing three or four hours legit before doing this i haven't had even the slightest of problems, and I'm making great steady money, about 500k or so a day which is completely fine by me.

And as for things i could suggest to Ineedbot that the script could use to improve, #1 would be a break handler, would be great to have it so we could fish for a couple hours and take a break for a hour then back for another 3 hours of fishing til the next break for 'x' amount of time.

Another add might be maybe setting a random type of Anti-ban where maybe when your walking back to fishing spot from the bank or vice versa, have it randomly go to near each location and maybe sit there for a minute before performing an action. Cause i know i certainly will sometimes just click to my destination then I'm getting up to do something IE: take a piss, or grab a drink, or something like that. You know basically just another possible idea to make it seem even more human. not completely necessary at all was just an idea. But the break handler would be much higher up on the scale of importance to make this script even stronger and more ban free. i would figure out how to tie it in myself but I'm still in the process of reading all of the scripting tutorials so i can figure out how to make these on my own. I'm finally getting to the point where i can basically read a persons script and kinda understand what they're telling Simba to do through the code. And that is for Pascal LOL, as for Lape I'm still not even close to understanding that stuff right now just trying to get the Pascal down pact before i move onto the next step of reflection and
Lape.

And now i also have a question for Ineedbot, or for anyone who can at least answer for me. On the GUI when filling in your information, what range of numbers for the anti-ban do you fill in. Like what range of numbers from 'x-y' would mean perform anti-ban more often, and perform anti-ban less often. I know on the main screen it shows he has it set at 7500 so that what i just set mine at. Though it seems like to me i never notice it anti ban that often, or maybe not as often as i would like. So if anybody could answer that question for me would be greatly appreciated.


And now that I'm done typing this long ass post for I don't even know what reason i did so I'd just want to thank Ineedbot for creating such a great and reliable script that he so willingly released to the public, so that all of us could fill our stomachs with some high protein fish everyday and night. But Seriously Thank You Bro! Your script has helped take me from being broke to being able to afford what i need in this game, and I'm not talking about billions and billions but at least more than a few millions to get me by. So it kept using the "nearest" banker and it kept going outside trying to reach the unreachable banker. Oh and sometimes when fishing swordfish and tuna, it gets stuck on the shark harpoon spot. Otherwise its a good script.

Tbh I dont think adjusting the anti-ban will help you that much, sounds like you've been flagged. I ran this bot for like 12hrs+ per day and got to 99 with it and didn't change the anti-ban from the default setting.

Just manually break every 3-4 hours really. I don't know if its because of my account age being 11 years+ or so, managed to bot 3 99's and almost 99 agility now :)

I brought a knife and it doesn't cut at of the fish, perhaps this functionality should be added since the update of using the fish cutlets before the feathers as bait happened. Here is my screeny with settings and inventory, don't mind the xp/hr because I take breaks.
Also, I added a small wait time of 1-5 secs between when the last fish being caught and going to drop them and this seemed like a nice anti-ban feature and I would suggest adding it in to the main.

Knifing the fish does work, but it slows it soo down, like half fishing xp/h for 5k cooking xp/h. But if u want to use it, just dont Force disable cooking.

hey great script. can you tweek the cooking in catherby sometimes its gets stuck clicking on the fish than it fails to click the range

fucking right on bro. great ass script, if you implement banking and cooking; perfect antibans procedures and the detection of almost every random ive come across. A+ this script is up there.
maybe one thing you can edit instead of making it so bot like bc at karamja everyone is cooking lobbies then running to ship, bank, back to lobbies; note at stills instead of banking off the island.

One issue, when fishing for Sharks, sometimes the script misclicks and accidentally fishes for swordfish/tuna. If your inventory fills with all swordfish/tuna, then the script will go into an infinite loop trying to bank. It will go to the bank, not bank anything because there are no sharks in your invent, run back to the fishing spot to find out theres no invent space, run back to the bank again etc…

Were u using the world hopper at all? If so, that could be the reason, because if you hop, ReflectPlayer.create needs to be called again, however there is no way of checking if its needed atm.

If you didnt world hop, is it possible u dc'd? same thing with world hopping, although it could because the animation id is outdated.

Basically it checks for onscreen player's over head text using reflection, then it uses that text to see if it matches any 'detection' strings, checking for generic statements, like 'lol' and 'hi' and more. It then takes that logic and spits out a message depending what type of generic message. Each type of message is on a timer, so it can't be spammed if players try to.

So, using elfy's new refection commit (as of 6 hours ago of this post), the script logs in, toggles the music bar, switches to the options menu, toggles resizable mode, and then stalls.

I see what you did there. Anyways, from what I can tell, AeroLib remains unhurt from this update while running the standard display mode, regardless I do have plans to add support for resizable mode.

I messed around with it some, it runs fine after logging in. If I manually switch it back to fixed mode after it toggles re-sizable then it will run fine until it needs to relog. When it has to relog, it will run into the same problem where it will just erroneously toggle re-sizable mode and then seize.

Figured out the problem:
Under the procedure setupPlayer(), the script was trying to toggle data orbs and roof removal which was causing the script to click where the toggle re-sizable option is. The options for data orbs and roof removal have moved, so commenting out lines 3095 and 3096 makes the script run flawlessly.

Thanks again for the flawless script ineedbot, I used a couple of your methods for some scripts of my own, makes my life a lot easier.

Figured out the problem:
Under the procedure setupPlayer(), the script was trying to toggle data orbs and roof removal which was causing the script to click where the toggle re-sizable option is. The options for data orbs and roof removal have moved, so commenting out lines 3095 and 3096 makes the script run flawlessly.

Thanks again for the flawless script ineedbot, I used a couple of your methods for some scripts of my own, makes my life a lot easier.

my 3095 and 3096 are two ends…is this correct to comment them out like that?

I have only got the client to open into rs and log in once. but when it did the script kept clicking to resize the client which refreshed the screen and the script would stop working.

I should have stated this before, but as I said on the woodcutting script, this isnt the main problem for me its just the script has a problem dectecting the osrs client in the first place.

if your account was previously in resizable, it won't even detect the client in the login screen. just start the script, disable SMART, manually log in, and turn off resizable and then try to run the script with the changes I mentioned earlier.

Nearing 99 fishing with this script starting from 1 nearly 3 weeks ago. Been able to get 9-11 hours per day. The only suggestion I have is to add the ability to accept genie lamps, as that would've been a crazy amount of experience in another skill. Besides that QOL, fantastic script and a real pleasure to use. Thank you so much Ineedbot.

For some reason, I keep logging out after an hour. The guide says that it's fishing, but it's really on the main menu. It also doesn't login.

just finished my 72 hour proggy, still going at the moment.
I made an account to use for sharks, I'm going to try and see how long I can run this one account before it gets banned lol

cabbiethefirst, if you don't mind me asking I see that you're probably level 3 since the 10 hp and 1 prayer and all but do you have any other skills that are leveled at all? I don't need numbers. I'm just wondering what helps an account not get banned. I'm thinking about starting a brand new account today or tomorrow and getting members and trying to fish straight through to 99, but I don't know if I should level up some dumby skills a little to make it look less like a purely fishing bot.

I made that account as a suicide account. There is literally no experience on that account besides fishing. The thing that makes the biggest difference is literally just becoming a member. Essentially, being a member and just minimizing your reports is key. I go to a pretty unpopulated world all the time. Make a normal name and make your clothes not so obvious that you're a bot and you're good to go.

One thing I've noticed when karamja is set up as the location you have to be on the island for the script to start, if your anywhere on the main land it will just sit there, instead of walking to the dock/boat like most of the other locations will auto walk where to start.
I actually see if I walk to the docks with a full inventory it will deposit and continue to karamja but draynor or lumbridge it will just sit there.

Something that i think all fishing (and woodcutting) scripts should include is an option to drop your inventory even if it isnt full. For example - you caught 25 fish and the fishing spot moves, you drop your inventory before you start to fish again. I think it would give the script a more human like quality. Just a potential idea.
