Edit:
Well, apparently no Slayer script for SRL/villavu because Olly said so. I am not rewriting a script that has been working the way it does for almost a year. I choose to fix/release it out of good will because I promised those who helped me get a working PC but if villavu doesn't want it, then it is fine with me. Not like it benefits me either way. I guess only XoL and I will be using it in the end which is a shame but oh well, we both can get the script from elsewhere.
Kind of seems like you are blaming Olly for the forum rules. You've indirectly mentioned him twice now.
More related to the script. Many people didn't use it first time around, so shouldn't your 'Business strategy' be to get more people to use it? It at least seems like thats what you want anyways.
Things i personally dont like;
1. Flexibility with what you have said. People can only bot weekends? Slayer IMO is a fun skill. Generalizing here…Most people that play rs are still in education, AFAIK they have most of their game time on weekends, Why would you bot during this time for a game they play for fun?
2. The fact that you ship your own OGL include, What is the point? too much hassle to switch between scripts. One of the reasons
@Brandon; chose OpenGL instead of the Direct-X route first was because of the Cross Platform support, It doesn't make too much of a difference in that simba is more likely used on Windows, but it is nice to have that flexibility. It certainly doesn't retain that Flexibility if you ship your own OGL include. This was the main reason i didn't explore beyond the code of your original slayer script.
3. Not trying to be offensive, but i certainly do not trust any private server to interact with my simba purely because it is very unsafe. Just because of who owns the server. (People would prefer not to connect to a server, kinda like putting your name + password into a dodgy site). In the sense that you don't understand why i say this; There was a developer long ago on SRL (i can't remember his name, Iroki or something, maybe someone else can clarify), he made a anti randoms plugin. Seemed like a pretty decent guy at first. His anti-randoms solvers were pretty good. He was trusted enough that his plugin was added to the Plugins folder. Long story short, in an update he pretty much stole accounts. Just because you may seem trusted because of your reputation does not mean that you wouldn't take that trust to your advantage.
As a final note, i can guarantee that RS will not perform an update purely to break your script. Maybe to catch people using your script, but they would do that with every script. Whether it be 1 script user or 1000 script users.
