SRL Archive - Banned from RS

After ~4 years of botting, Jagex finally got one of my accounts. It was a F2P main of sorts about a year old, had probably 25 mil in cash on it. It's become one of the 'vanishing accounts' which loses its display name on banning, so I can't log in to check the offense (found out through the Jagex Support twitter it had been banned, of all places); probably a safe bet to call it a Macroing Major though. The last script I remember using was a Draynor woodcutter, so I should have known better :duh:

I'm not upset about the money, but I will miss the full gravite set. I guess now I'll just have to build a bot army worthy of Mordor :stirthepot:

Yes, but I'm betting the lack of display name is a symptom rather than a cause. JMods are calling it a "glitch in the banning process." It only seems to happen with permabanned accounts and not temp. banned ones, so it's really a moot problem anyway.

huh so why couldnt you log in to the banned account to check the status?

That's what it seems like, that it isn't completely fixed. My old character's name is just a bunch of garbage characters when I check it on other accounts' friend lists.

Also that post gave me a chuckle. "I fixed it, but you're banned."
