Using Simba for games that Block Input (Gameguard ie.)

Hello.

Most of you probably don't know me anymore. I also never wasnt really active :)

I used to write some plugins for scar back in the old days. I was also writing some runescape bots. I stopped playing(and also botting! ;)) Runescape long ago though, and tend to use Simba for other fun projects.
Since the source is open its pretty easy to use and that is really great… Anyways. I feel like i want to give something back. That is if you guys would be interested though.

I've created an unblockable way to use Simba to direct Input even if gameguard or any other software is running that blocks API Input. I've been using it for a while now with no problems…
It could also be used to make Simba SendInput to Linux based systems, since its driver based and basicly compatible with any OS, where you can install a keyboard and a mouse. ( Not sure if Simba isnt already Linux compatible :D )

I was wondering if there is enough interest to release my technique and plugin ?
It wont probably be helpful for runescape stuff though.

I don't exactly play any games but I'd certainly like to see a cross-platform driver..

Last time I asked about a Linux version of Simba, build-bot didn't work for that and there isn't any releases unless you compile it yourself ={

Ello caused,

I would love to see what you have created, sounds very interesting!
Go for it and release the project man. :)

Thanks for your interest :D..

Since there isnt alot. I just tell you what you can do. What i did was programming a microcontroller and connecting that via usb to the pc. You can programme the microcontroller in a way that it qualifies as a mouse and keyboard device.
You will also need functions that tell the device to move the mouse (Click left/right) or Scroll.

You can then communicate with your device by some kind of server, that tells it what to emulate (Or a plugin that can connect to it via com or directly usb).

You can then write a plugin for simba and overloard your default mouse moving functions or just write new ones.

The simplest way would be to use an arduino since they are very cheap… Like 5$ if you import them.

Nice idea mate, SendMessage won't do the trick?

I've had problems with SendMessage too, but PostMessage seemed to solve that problem when dealing with mouse events.

As long as you're posting mouse events to the queue, it won't work. Especially if they use SetWindowsHookEx with WH_KEYBOARD_LL.

That rules out SendInput and any of the others that are able to send input to a non-visible window.

Only function I know from WinAPI that isn't actually detected by a LL hook is keybd_event.

@Home: No that wont work. Try it for yourself ;).. I heard that some Gameguard versions allow some kind of keyboard inputs. But usually you cant direct any input via API. And most workarounds can be blocked. Thats why i came up with this method ;)
