Just wanted to say hello.
A little backstory on myself, I've been programming/botting since I was in the 7th grade, granted back then my programs were nothing to the extent they are now.. I spent time with RSPS's and had a decent server going back in the day, I came back to RS and found powerbot, distrusted it so much I couldnt use anyone elses scripts, had to write my own to be sure there wasnt any chance of hacking. Eventually quit RS, and in my first months of college some friends here brought me back into the game, we all bot and currently we write our own bots for fun, profit, randomness.
I hope to learn off of SIMBA in the next few months and begin writing some bots for the community. I tend to not use other people's scripts unless it is for learning purposes of writing my own scripts, so leeching isn't a big problem with me.
The only challenge i can foresee is that all my knowledge in programming is based in object orientated languages like C++ and Java. Especially Java as all my current bots run off of my own Java methods. From the look of a couple of files i've seen on this site it look like it is all function based programming, which my friends here have plenty of experience in.
So onto learning about SIMBA and all the programming that comes with it.
