So I was looking for some simba tutorials and I could find is separate section for osrs and rs3 help and tutorials.

I think most tutorials in the osrs section apply to both versions of the game and many are general simba tutorials.

I would rather just have them all in one section called "Scripting help and tutorials", like it used to be.

The reason for this is because the OSRS tutorials are written for SRL-5 (which was old school RS) and Pascal Script. The RS3 tutorials are for RS3 and Lape.

A lot of the general scripting guides can be applied to both versions of the game if you know what to look for. Beginner scripters assume what's in the guides will work for the version of RS they're using. It would just be frustrating and confusing for them to follow such tutorials.

Now that's a good question. Perhaps it would be a good idea to have a section dedicated to general Simba tutorials.

That's a good idea I think. It could be the place for any tutorials that applied to both OSR and RS3 or just Simba in general. One example of a tutorial in the OSR section that is completely compatible with RS3 is this one.

Well my Beginner tutorial is in the RS3 section because it works in Lape, but there's nothing there that applies specifically to RS (it's just general programming knowledge).

We've talked about a separate "Simba" tutorial section in the past, or one for SRL-OSR and SRL-6. It's really a tough situation because there are a lot of great guides out there that aren't quite up to date – some can be applied to SRL-6, OSR, and Simba, or any combination, and having a ton of different sections could be confusing to the new users.

We need a good structure that is clear for everything, which isn't as easy as it sounds. :p

What we need is a clear pipeline to the help section lol it's like you have to go through a gauntlet to get to it.

It has it's own section in the main forum page. It's been like that for a while now.

It's called "Help and Tutorials" and it's right under Public.

I think he might mean a direct link at the top of the forum index page, like with Username Change Request, etc.

You could get rid of SRL stats in quick links too, seeing as it probably wont be fixed?
