I had a potato picking script and I picked potatoes. About 500k of them are picked and the rest bought. 95% of them were picked by one account over months.

I never got around to releasing it. The battle in lumbridge removed the original location I used and the opengl minimap glitch made me give up picking.

Could be leaked upcoming update (climbing boots, granite v2) that gives them a use but that's unlikely.
Could be price manipulation with the intent to sell out later when people see this graph and freak out/buy them at higher price
Could be other collectors

This reminds me of the summer when clay was absurdly high and an account with no reqs could make upwards of 300k/h

Updates that changed the prices of those items from near-nothing to like 10,000%+ above, but certain people were told of those future updates ahead of time so they had a chance to buy out the stocks at the near-nothing prices, and then sell for beyond-imagination profits when the updates went live and changed their value.

Insider trading sort of.

So what I'm basically saying is, this could be happening again, but I think that's very unlikely, and it's just a manipulation for some other reason.
