SRL Archive - OSR Help

I got my new laptop yesterday, with that - most of my data (all except uni files) is still stored on my old hard drive..

Anyway, after i finished installing simba, getting the reflection include/al functions/srl osrs and smart 8.3 i compiled my script and ran it - smart never loaded up it gave me a black box and disappeared.. Script continued to run.

No free clients to pair to
Failed to pair to any smart previously spawned smart clients
Attempting to spawn a client
Grabbing your best world…


It just flashes a black box and disappears, never loads up anything help me.. @hoodz!!

I know someone put up a link to an OSR folder that had smart/reflection all set up and ready.. can you please link to me because that's what solved it for me last time, everything else is just cryptic and confusing.

i think thats pretty outdated by now… do you have skype? we can talk on there

I had this issue when I did a fresh install on different laptop. I recommend first installing the newest Simba, second download & placing all the SMART plugins in the Plugins folder. These include: libsmartjni32 & 64, libsmartremote32 & 64, and of course smart.jar. Then load up Simba, load (not run) a script that uses SMART (or simply define SMART near the top) and close Simba to save your settings. Then just re-open and try running a script with SMART.

My java is upto date, running the program as admin and still get :

HINT: Make sure you have the lastest java version, and try running simba as admin

Haha got it to work!!!!!!

protip: you dont need to download and 'setup' SMARTv8.3. just enable srl.sex and update that. it /should/ download smart and such.

That done it!
