Actually, it's less computations. That is exactly how the game creates animations in the first place.. Bone movements with meshes bound to it.
It's probably extremely hard detecting bones though :l Don't see how it's possible with colour.. Or without OpenCV..

Yea but with color it would take longer, not necessarily for computing animation recognition, but the fact that you have to idle for some/part of an animation to happen, example detecting a mining animation with pixel shift takes 200-400 ms simply because you HAVE to wait time for the shift to take place :d

He did say the bot would support basically any games, so I would assume there is OpenGL or DirectX support, makes it a bit easier to detect the bones :)

RiD is strictly color, I would be surprised if they introduced openGL/directX. They are too paranoid to even load the game into a minimizeable applet
The part im really interested about is where people will be able to make their own scripts without any coding, I want to see how that works out.

The bot will work on whatever settings you're on when you record, which is how you create it.
From what he's said, the way you'll create a bot is:
1. Record a session of yourself doing what you want your bot to do for about an hour, longer if you want to ensure it's completely stable
2. Run the GUI, load up the session and tweak some of the settings that're included in the GUI (For example "Pickup dragon bones" or "Pickup rares", if you've ever used RiDiverse it'll pretty much be just like that with a lot more options)
3. Run the bot
I guess it is color, but it reads the screen like a normal person would. With Genesis it'll, in a nutshell "Learn from what it sees" We also use Virtual Machines to "Minimize" it, I don't think it'd be possible for the bot to work with something like SMART. Especially with Genesis.
Well RiD doesn't support goldfarming at all, which is the reason why he had bot limits, where you could only run one of each bot at one time. That's probably part of the reason he doesn't come up with something like SMART, that and the Virtual Machines I've come up with only need about 300 megs of memory to run on, and barely any CPU. It runs Runescape just fine in both DirectX and OpenGL. Although the main reason is probably because he doesn't want to risk the bot being detectable, or being sued.
I've used RiD since 2010, and i'm sorry but hopefully you guys won't take this the wrong way. I love his bots, they're friggin amazing. BTW, RiD is the only person who develops the bots / Genesis.
Ghost Mouse 2.0 or Tasker 2.0
Good old times!
I'm working on a similar project. I can detect quite a few events already.
I would definitely be impressed if animations could be detected with color only.

But I also don't agree with him thinking hes going to get sued because hes loading the client.. also not wanting to have a minimizeable client because of goldfarming doesn't make sense when he doesn't even produce gold farmers scripts

I don't see this happening, even if he managed to create technology that would 'record' what a player is doing, there would be so many holes in the logic if the player didn't run through every instance possible. It's more then a lot of trouble just to make something 'easy'

A long time ago, someone did suggest to RiD that he just make a simple "Browser" that would just load Runescape, like SMART does. I cannot remember what RiD told him, I know it was rejected though. RiD has some good reasons why he doesn't do certain things.
And RiD is a fucking genius… if Genesis does work out as planned, then I'll call him a god of programming lol. Even if it just works for Runescape. Also this isn't a script at all, it's a bot as in robot with an AI. Every bot the mans made is pure AI.

I'm a vet member on RiD and I actually came to SRL because RiD went down, without any knowledge of scripting, and while I did enjoy using RiD to get some levels, I'm so happy I came here instead. When Genesis comes out I will still use Simba since it's free and it has the capability to do pretty much anything I want anyway, with the extra satisfaction of having scripted it myself.
Nevertheless, respect to RiD for the project, it's quite an impressive feat and I hope it goes well for him.

Well, to elaborate further on what Twinki was trying to say, There's a reason why it requires ~45-60 minutes for a calibration session. From there, the bulk of the task would be strung together. Afterwards, the user has the ability to fully customize and tweak it to fit their requirements. It also has exception handling that will log out and take screenshots, as well as produce log information. The user can use this information to set up a failsafe for whatever caused the bot to quit in the first place.
These creations can be shared among other RiD users, and because of that feature, members may submit their own solutions to things like random events, meaning through community collaboration all randoms can be supported and shared relatively easy.
Note that I'm not comparing Genesis to any other botting site/product, I'm merely elaborating on some information about Genesis.

Kind of, but not that simple. This isn't like a mouse recorder or ghost mouse. The calibration session also collects your biometric data, which it then uses to ensure the bot behaves exactly the same way you would. The goal is to show up exactly the same as the owner playing legit under automated or manual investigation.
Methods can be shared among users, but the calibration session must still be completed for each individual, to ensure the behavior matches the owner.

Essentially it analyzes you legitimately playing, doing whatever training method you choose, creates the bulk of the task as well as your biometric data from that session, then you can customize or modify the bot it is creating for you. Anything causing the bot to quit can be fixed by adding failsafes using the log file and screenshots that are taken.
It is a very large project on its own, but it is definitely a possible feat. I'm in university at the moment for Business Technology Operations Management, and I've spoken with degree heads for Computer Science and Software & Game Development about this project. All of them felt that it is definitely possible, it just would take quite a bit of development time to make it perfect, especially since RiD is the only developer.

Well from the outside looking in, I can see where some may make that assumption, but from being there for 4 years now, and having received 2nd opinions from industry experts which confirm the fact that the project is possible, on top of the fact that I've never seen RiD fail to produce something he made claims for, with one exception, I wouldn't doubt Genesis. The only exception was a bot that was in beta testing for Staff capable of 50+ hour runs, it just wasn't released because he chose to work on Genesis instead. I have my faith in the project because of the growing reputation I've seen from him, and my longstanding history there.
Ultimately, there is no point in arguing concretely about this tho, as only time will determine solidly who is correct.
Inquiries about Genesis are fine, but arguments about specific details that cannot be proven either way without waiting for its release are a bit of a time waster.

Almost anything is possible with computers.
RiD is a extremely well made quality bot. But nobody there understands words being thrown at them
For example:
Here is a picture

Here at villavu, we call this a TPA, or array of points. In the RiD community, the users would be told it's 3D texture recognition computer vision.
i := random(200);
wait(random(5000) + i);
Here at villavu this would be called a random wait. In the RiD community, this would be considered unique biometric data
if not loggedin then
dontClickRock;
Here at villavu this would be called a bare basic failsafe. In the RiD community, this would be considered Artificial intelligence
Anyway, back on topic, an't wait to see this script, I'm not try to poop on RiD hes a really intelligent person. I just don't like how he can't just give us straight facts instead of exaggerating. Why can we never see pictures of the work on progress?

RiD has always been a pretty secretive guy. Why? I honestly don't know, outside of some obvious safety related reasons. He has his methods of doing stuff and I'm not really sure anyone beside himself knows why. I've beta tested some of his bots in the past, and you do see progress in the stability and capabilities of the bot grow at that phase. Generally, any bot or project that is ready for beta testing will be given to the Hero ranks (3000+ premium hours botted) first, then Veteran ranks (1000+ premium hours botted), and then everyone else. While this isn't a public release, those who have contributed a lot to the site and community have first-hand experience with new projects. Now, while I understand some reasons, I'm sure RiD has plenty of reasons of his own, and I'm not really here to defend that.
As appealing as the idea of Genesis may sound, I never really enjoyed my time at RiD and doubt I'll be back any time soon (yes…I still have credits from a while back, might see what Genesis is all about upon release). The bots worked, and that was about it. They weren't efficient for me since dodgy connections to Australia resulted in short session times and slow response times (I am on a stable fibre connection 100D/10U) not to mention the slow updating of bots due to limited staff (I can't really blame him for this).
I respect his work and background but don't like the fact that he has probably spent more time on DRM, advertises with jargon and shows very little transparency with regards to his work. I'm not trying to bash, but Trent; you should have a go at scripting here. You'll learn very quickly as to what I mean about the RiD community really fast.
Another thing that I've been thinking about recently (not really related) with the whole Valve/VAC fiasco is that Jagex could simply do a check of the DNS cache to see whether RiD is phoning home and use that as a method fo flag banning. Though I'm fairly sure RiD would have already prevented against that by spoofing the cache (never checked).

I have an idea of what you mean in regard to the community. Even having been there for 4 years now, I find myself having to correct members who visit regularly. I feel some of that could be because people just don't read, which is a well-known fact, unfortunately. Another could be that RiD doesn't give us updates very frequently on progress with projects. While I feel part of this is because he doesn't want to give repetitive information if certain bits of progress haven't changed, I feel it would be nice to have a small post every once in awhile to give us more frequent info. Many users don't really understand the details, and thus they aren't the best people to explain these things.
On the DNS bit, I'm fairly certain RiD has covered all his avenues to ensure the safety of his products. He's never been one to cut corners at the expense of his users; himself included. This is also another factor in the length of development time in his projects. One thing to note about Genesis, is that once it is released, over 90% of any maintenance that needs to be done on the bots of the users can be fixed by the users themselves without any knowledge in programming.

Having a vocal minority doesn't necessarily mean you feed them glorified jargon and ignore project transparency. It's bad community relations on his behalf.
EDIT: On another note, even if the majority of the userbase do not fully understand the technicalities it should be, for the lack of a better term 'dumbed down' to the point where technicalities and other details are not compromised, but still easy enough to understand. These are the basics of consultation and presentation of a product to non-technical users.

I feel like I'm reading another advertisement (with your final note). I don't doubt that people without programming knowledge will be able to use/fix it, but I'd take things with a grain of salt until actual results are shown. With regard to development time - I completely understand the whole 'take your time' approach since he also runs a business and not just a botting site. With this in mind, having one developer is not a viable business approach. His bots have been down months at a time because he decides to work on another project which he releases according to Valve time (e.g. RiD 2.0) instead of fixing his current ones and keeping his userbase happy.
Best of luck to him with Genesis though, hopefully it solves all if not most of these flaws in his services.

I do find it irritating that the workings of the bot are never discussed beyond glorified terminology, but I also understand the security concern about divulging too much information. I used to believe 100% of what I heard from RiD's PR content but now that I understand a bit more about color scripting I can't really see how it is -that- different from what we do here…apart from perhaps higher professionalism, security, failsafes, and other miscellaneous factors. I'm not an expert in the field by any means, but it just seems so off to hear RiD users talk about how the bot works.
Like a paid highly complex simba script, that doesn't use a client, and assigns random antiban constants for every user to create these 'unique profiles' that he talks about.
Again, I'm not trying to bash RiD at all, his services have been invaluable to me for many years prior. If I wanted to get levels with a guaranteed no ban, I would definitely look to his work. At this point though, I see simba being just as safe provided you don't make a stupid static coord script. As has been endlessly discussed, SMART is detectable but is not actively detected. If that changes, simba scripts can ultimately run without SMART as well.
I look forward to trying out Genesis!

It is kind of annoying if you were paying him your hard earned money, but I (think I) understand why he has to be so secretive. For one so that no one replicated his methods and try to create a ripoff Rid, and more importantly, Mod Weath is probably lurking on all his threads so any information about the inner workings of Rid, especially the new Genesis can give jagex an upper hand in trying to combat and detect them.(all in vain though)

Well, the oversimplified way of explaining how RiD works is "color," but ultimately getting technical about it would yield a fuller explanation. Now, he does limit what kind of information he gives about what methods he uses to create the and maintain the bots, so full, definitive information is likely to remain ambiguous.
Anyway, not trying to argue either side here, but here is some information I've found relating to Computer Vision, which is what RiD claims to use for
part of making his bots.
What is computer vision?"Computer vision (image understanding) is a discipline that studies how to reconstruct, interpret and understand a 3D scene from its 2D images in terms of the properties of the structures present in the scene."
"The ultimate goal of computer vision is to model and replicate human vision using computer software and hardware at di?erent levels. It combines knowledge in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physiology, biology, and cognitive science. It needs knowledge from all these ?elds in order to understand and simulate the operation of the human vision system."
Hierarchy of Computer Vision- Low-level vision: process image for feature extraction (edge, corner, or optical ?ow).
- Middle-level vision: object recognition, motion analysis, and 3D reconstruction using features obtained from the low-level vision.
- High-level vision: interpretation of the evolving information provided by the middle level vision as well as directing what middle and low level vision tasks should be performed. Interpretation may include conceptual description of a scene like activity, intention and behavior
Related Fields"Computer vision overlaps signi?cantly with the following ?elds: image processing, pattern recognition, and photogrammetry.
Image processing focuses on image manipulation to enhance image quality, to restore an image or to compress/decompress an image. Most computer vision algorithms usually assumes a signi?cant amount of image processing has taken place to improve image quality.
Pattern recognition studies various techniques (such as statistical techniques, neural network, support vector machine, etc..) to recognize/classify di?erent patterns. Pattern recognition techniques are widely used in computer vision.
Photogrammetry is concerned with obtaining accurate and reliable measurements from images. It focuses on accurate mensuration. Camera calibration and 3D reconstruction are two areas of interest to both computer vision and photogrammetry researchers."
Computer Vision vs. Image ProcessingImage processing studies image-to-image transformation. The input and output of image processing are both images. Typical image processing operations include:
- image compression
- image restoration
- image enhancement
"Computer vision is the construction of explicit, meaningful descriptions of physical objects from their images. The output of computer vision are a description or an interpretation or some quantitative measurements of the structures in the 3D scene. Image processing and pattern recognition are among many techniques computer vision employs to achieve its goals."

All the power to him if that's what actually is in his software. But I just can't help but see that as either 1) an over-complication of what actually is required to accomplish necessary tasks in RS or 2) a glorified explanation for what actually is taking place.
We are scripting for RuneScape in low detail, where the visual "stimuli" is quite limited in complexity compared to photographs and other media that computer vision might be applied to in other types of software.
When I used to run RiD, I saw it fail a lot as a result of color confusion (no I don't have picture evidence etc, just throwing in my 2 cents). And I was not an incompetent initiate who never had correct settings :p I'm not mad though, RiD provided a great service and gained me many levels.
An example of why I think RiD is fundamentally a more professional/marketed version of a Simba script, and why in a sense, our scripts utilize exactly what was mentioned above in that diagram:
Example: an agility course script
Let's say that RiD utilizes computer vision to accomplish traversing an agility course. That would suggest, based on the hierarchy:
-Low-level vision: RiD determines edges, corners, of some agility obstacle or whatever, via RiD computer vision methods
-Middle-level vision: RiD recognizes from the above what objects are obstacles and what is not, via RiD computer vision methods
-High-level vision: RiD determines what further analysis to conduct based on what was previously recognized, e.g. should I look for more rocks or more monkey bars, or more whatever, am I crossing an obstacle and should be looking for obstacle completion, etc, via RiD computer vision methods
This is identical to the processing found in many scripts at SRL.
-Low-level vision: Simba script determines edges, corners, of some agility obstacle or whatever, via findColorsTolerance, TPA functions, ATPA functions, findDTM, findBitmap, etc.
-Middle-level vision: Simba script sorts objects of interest from non-objects, via TPA filter functions, ATPA sorting, and other priorities that were derived from prior analysis procedures. If we really want to, we can make TSomeObject arrays to store lots of information about something.
-High-level vision: Simba script determines what further analysis to conduct based on what was previously recognized, e.g. should I look for more rocks or more monkey bars, or more whatever, am I crossing an obstacle and should be looking for obstacle completion, etc, via case statements, if then statements, failsafes, and other conditional elements that are also loosely randomized and based on human logic.
In my Barrows script, a lot of similar stuff goes into recognizing rooms within the maze, and determining pretty much anything about them.
The only difference between RiD and our scripts, from what I can tell, is the biometric user profiles (for mouse behavior, etc), which is a great idea and I plan to hopefully bring to SRL soon.

Yeah I'm not trying to say that the Simba platform does not utilize or possess the capabilities of some of the technologies RiD uses for his products. Realistically Simba and SCAR are the closest relatives to RiD in the botting world.
And yes, I do not claim RiD's bots to be perfect, I've seen my fair share of fuck-ups during my 4,200 hours of botting with them. Realistically those things can only be fixed or improved through development and maintenance time. The hope is that Genesis will deliver a massive improvement to previous areas which lacked excellence within the inner workings of the bots, but we'll only know about that upon release.
In addition, like I said before, Computer Vision is only part of how his products work. Unfortunately, he is rather secretive about much of this kind of information, so there's not much I can give on that matter. Server-side decision making capabilities is one thing I've not seen anywhere else (he calls it "Blackbox Security"). Necessary for function? Not at all, but his reasoning is to prevent Jagex and others from accessing the source code, regardless of their intent. I don't know much in that area, except that all communications are encrypted, and that for every action the bot completes (e.g. click, move, keystroke, camera rotate, etc) the bot checks its environment and communicates with the server 3 times before actually executing that action.

If the bot is communicating 3 times with the server before an action…. then that slows down the script too much.. assuming you have a 32 ms ping that's 96 ms per action? That's a long time in the botting world, 96 ms is finding 50-200 objects depending on the method..

To be fair, human reaction time is a few hundred ms. Of course humans make up for that by predicting the location for objects, so this is something you might need to consider when you have a bot that has slower than normal speeds.

Ultimately, it does add extra time to the equation, as that's the obvious downside to using Blackbox Security. With upgraded dedicated servers already in place for Genesis, the hope is that these delays will be minimized. From experience, yes the speed is just a tad slower, but ultimately there's not much I've seen that desperately needs that much of a reduction. I remember RiD recently mentioning that he was spending quite a bit of time making sure the algorithms were optimized enough that even low-end machines with less than preferable ping would be able to still receive optimal performance.

Agreed. And yes, I know for a fact that RiD does a lot for prediction algorithms.
I definitely think RID overcomplicates his "wording" of what his bot does and how it does it, there is one thing that I think we are forgetting that RID probably can do that Simba can't, multithreading. So if it can do that, then while the mouse is moving it can be finding objects, making up for the delay previously stated. But all I know, is watch one of his bots on youtube, it's pretty impressive tbh…

Oh yeah that's right, I never thought about multi-threading, but after finishing my recent Java class, that would make a lot of sense.

There are many different examples where this could be used. Especially within complex activities such as boss hunting or dungeoneering.

It's impractical for most script use, finding and determining objects should take < 100 ms.. really < 10, anyway if you need it to be multi-threaded to find objects then you're something wrong.
I used to actually be a big proponent in wanting multi-threading in simba… but I have to come to realize there are very few uses where it could be applicable realistically.

Indeed, this is normal behavior for anyone who has done the task at hand at least once before. I included this
heavily in ZMI-Extreme and all the past Agility scripts; just as to replicate myself actually doing the tasks.

I'd say the most obvious reason is NPC & object - tracking. Definitely handy if used right.

It could be useful in a few ways but as Coh3n brought up before we can already get the same results of multithreading in a script, it just takes a bit of ingenuity.
Anyways… this sounds like a really neat project and I hope it works as planned. Although I'm committed to SRL I'd support RiD over anybody else any day.

There will be a massive improvement to the AI related to path-finding and object tracking and response times. Initially it will be mainly capable of repetitive tasks, dungeoneering will come later. However, it should be capable of producing a generic combat bot that supports banking and the like. The ability for the user to add failsafes without knowledge of programming will allow them to manage annoying bumps in the road like doors or gates, for example. Oh, and RiD did say that Slayer will definitely be possible.

Sounds like someone must be butthurt. None of what I've said is impossible. I've shown the details of the project to degree heads at my university, and they all were intrigued by it, and all agreed that it was definitely a possible project, and that they'd be surprised if a project that large would be released in less than 6 months of development from a single developer. It's not like we're talking about anything that's wildly outrageous or impossible. With the right programming background and enough time and money, it's only a matter of time for such a project to be completed.
If you wanna be condescending or rude, go for it, but just know that every post you make will only make you look dumber and dumber when the project is finally complete.
There really isn't much to gain by speculating like this unfortunately. Until it has been released, RiD is the only one who knows if/how well it works. It might work exactly as advertised, it might be mediocre, or it might not work at all and get cancelled/delayed indefinitely. Until RiD actually releases actual information about it nobody knows.

@Flight; Unfortunately, no, there's not. This is the most recent update we have:
From: RiD
Just to give you guys an update, I finished the visual processing and while preparing to create some test suites, figured I can kill two birds with one stone by coding some parts of the GUI now - which saves me creating some GUIs just for testing purposes.
So I'm currently putting together some substantial parts of the GUI for Genesis, which will take around two weeks.
Phase one of the GUI is creating an 'environment' for your bot to work in (you might want to create an environment for RS for example), phase two of the GUI is the creation of bots to work within that 'environment'.
Phase one of the GUI is what I'm working on now, after that I'll quickly test/debug the remaining parts of visual processing (have already tested the more complex elements of visual processing like map reading and game-world reading, just need to test that it can read all the various types of interface now).
Then it will be on to bot creation! Which is the 'end-game' of the Genesis project.
However… it is a complex task, and exactly how long that will take is impossible to estimate at this point.
So I have no release date to report. I won't be able to give a more accurate estimate on completion till I get to grips with the botmaking elements of the code. I haven't reached that stage yet, but I am working hard, and as efficiently as possible.
Just wanted to thank the community for your patience, because you guys have been awesome. Thanks for the support, and every one of you who's posted encouragement here, I appreciate it.
Will be back to post another update in around 2-3 weeks, when I have a better perspective on the amount of work there is still left to do.

I mentioned a few days ago in the chatbox, but for anyone who missed it, I am still working on the interfaces.
Changed a few things in the structure of the code, to simplify things and make it easier to configure. It's probably added 2 weeks to the development time, and there could yet be a few more days worth of work I want to expand on with the interfaces.
Just have to take it as it comes.
As was the case in the last update, I plan to give a more accurate estimate on release date when I finish working on the interfaces and make a start on the final stages of Genesis - the botmaking.

Hmmm
Looks kinda cool.
But how exactly does one 'read' animations?
GLHook can see animations although with the counters, seeing animations is pretty much useless. The way it works is your character has an ID based on what it wears, but if it does some action that other than the basic walking, running, attacking(not sure on this one). Ex. emote, climbing, etc, it will have a different ID but those are constants so everytime the same action is done, it will show the same ID on the screen thus making animation detection possible. This is useful for animations that use tools as woodcutting yields different ID from standing last I checked. As long as you don't change your appearance, the IDs should remain constant. Though it is much easier to monitor XP counters or Inventory to see if an action was made.

With color though, not with GLhook, I know the SRL randoms did it with the mime solver and pixel shift but it would be difficult to incorporate that into main rs

I wrote one of the mine solvers. I detected the animations using DTMs and looking for specific unique frames in each animation. It isn't hard either but pixelshift still works in main RS. It is just not accurate unless the settings are correct.

Well as long as we're discussing visual processing (includes animation reading) with color bots, I'd say this is on topic. RiD claims to utilize visual processing with Genesis, and any discussion regarding how that could be done or why it is useful would be relevant.
So, my question is, utilizing visual processing (no game code analysis), how would one create a dynamic animation reader that can identify the animations of objects/NPCs/monsters/etc on the fly. Basically, assuming these animations are being recognized during a calibration session (bot watches you play for 30-60 minutes), how would one go about being able to write a generic way of doing this so that it can identify any number of different animations (e.g. objects/NPCs/monsters/etc) without requiring separate code for each animation sequence.
Example:
Botting Impetuous Impluses:
From: RiD
It would be able to see the differences between different types of imps.
The initial draft of the bot may have trouble with hedges because this is not a typical means of navigation, that could be overcome very trivially but I wouldn't expect it in the first draft.
In this example the visual processing code would need to be able to accurately identify every imp within this mini-game without specifically writing code for any of the imps or their animations.
This same code would need to be able to be used on other things, such as identifying every monster and portal within Pest Control. So, the point is, it needs to be dynamic enough to support virtually any situation's potential animations.
Let me know if any of the above doesn't make sense, if my wording is ambiguous, or if anything needs clarification.

Spend £200 for something that may not exist!? Seems fishy to me. All the stuff that RiD is claiming Genesis will do could be made here I'm pretty sure of it. RiD has just provided another update with the development:
Well it's been a tricky few months, illness, server issues, having to scrap whole sections of code in favor of other designs, but I'm now close to making my first bots with Genesis.
The first bots will be rather basic, they will perform arbitrary desktop activities. This will allow me to isolate and test various modules of the functionality.
And then, I will move on to more complex tasks.
It's still tricky to put a date on it, but it's been 'to be announced' for a while, and the approx date has been horribly inaccurate, and not properly updated, or very tangible.
But we are now at a point where I am more able to set some targets.
I will be aiming for a Summer 2014 release, to be more specific, mid/late July.
Although the sooner the better, so if I have any chance to get it out before then without compromising on quality, I will do.
Thank you for your patience everyone, and hopefully understanding the nature of constructing this project.

Yeah, thanks to some newly revived content in the members section, DG/slayer/advanced combat scripts will be relatively very easy to make for us compared to what we were working with a few months ago.

I'm not comparing validity at all. I'm trying to put you in our shoes. It gets annoying as we constantly get people telling us that Genesis doesn't exist and will never release. We've had initiates, who hadn't payed a cent and even veterans who got their status completely through free botting constantly complain and try to rile up others, while those who have spent hundreds of dollars on the site are perfectly content waiting. I for one, trust RiD and would rather wait for a quality product. The last thing I'd want to do is rush a developer.
Probably the most hilarious instance was when an initiate tried to tell everyone who bought unlimited that he had inside info that RiD was scamming people and that everyone should dispute the charge. what makes that funny is that RiD has and still is giving refunds to people who bought unlimited and ask for one.

I understand. I'm a vet on RiD, paid for all of it except probably a few hours when there was free botting, and never complain. I look forward to genesis. My perspective has just changed a lot about botting on RS after learning how to script here. What I once thought was 'super advanced' now seems like a kind of touched up, more marketed simba script. RiD used to impress me so much, until I learned how things actually work, and now I'm really not impressed at all.
Initiates say the darndest things, don't they.

It sounds like you're discounting the opinions of members of your forum because they have not paid money to RiD. It is understandable that those who have spent lots of money on something would want to defend their purchase. The thing about not rushing the developer I understand completely. What I don't understand is when the developer is collecting money for something that so far off in the future they couldn't say when they'd be done. The instance of that person who claimed they had "inside info" is pretty funny, probably just looking for attention.
Just to be clear: Nothing against any of you personally, you seem like good people, but sometimes your unquestioning support of RiD confuses me.

I'm aware of Logic Pro, and Genesis has its differences. The only place where they share similarities is the general idea of making/tweaking your own bot without needing to know any programming languages.
Some, but not all, differences include:The mouse movements, styles, and behaviors will match that of the owner of the account, meaning under manual or automated investigation, Genesis will show up the same as the owner would if they were playing legitimately.
Genesis will work for EVERY version of RS, as well as many other computer games that possess relatively repetitive gameplay.
Genesis will have above a 99% up-time; any updates to RS or any game Genesis is being used on can immediately be fixed by the user. No need to worry about Genesis or the client being updated.
Even if you share your method with another person, they simply need to complete a calibration session to make the method adhere that other person's playing style/movements/behavior/etc.
The Chat Center on RiD's website will allow you to keep track of any chat that occurs near your bot, so you can monitor and control the conversation no matter where you are, as long as you have access to a smartphone or computer with an internet connection.
Text or Email notifications can be sent out for things such as random events, chat alerts, bot termination, etc.
There are other differences, but these are just a few.

Do not encourage harassment of other communities, regardless if they are a competing bot or not.
This thread is now closed as it has significantly drifted from a somewhat mature discussion on robotzindisguise's promised new botting method to mindless drivel with short attacks on Trent! and a community he participates in. Such actions are not tolerated here.
