So I created this script because I was too low level to use Clarity's Esswraith and I wanted way to reach a sufficient level to use his script with minimal effort. I'm actually high enough level to use his script now but I still use mine because it has higher xp rates at my level :o
It was meant to be a very rough script but I'm surprised that it works so effectively. I decided I might as well share it with you guys.
I started this on Asham's herblore script so there are some parts that are unchanged. All credit to him.

Setup:
-Go to a single 'rune type', small island. Make sure your character can stay in one spot and never have to move to siphon something.
-Zoom so that your camera covers all of your island but you can't see any of the other islands.
-I go to a law island on the edges of the middle level. Here's a map of Runespan.

-Make sure your XP bar is visible as the script needs it to detect siphoning.

-Make sure you have atleast ~150 rune essences
-Fill out declare players
-Don't touch anything in 'user setup'. Breaking doesn't work.

Features:
Surprisingly accurate
Siphons from high level nodes at high priority all the way down to law esshound at lowest priority
Antiban

V2.
Siphons soul esswraiths as base priority and nodes as top priority (so use this starting lvl 90)
You can easily pick out your own color for blood esswraiths (deaths don't have their own islands so I don't recommend them)
Breaking works for V2. I added it in because I didn't want to get banned when at near 99 :P

Notes:
This script uses the simple 'Findcolortolerance' so I expected it to fail miserably. Once again, I was pleasantly surprised when I found it actually worked pretty darn well.

Go to procedure 'IdentifyTarget' if you find that the some nodes/esswraith aren't being detected properly. As the node colors are usually pretty distinct, you should have no problem isolating a color that only that node will contain.

If you're too low level to siphon a certain node, just comment it out in IdentifyTarget.

I had no idea we even had that type of XP detection…I was using a different detection style beforehand (that took forever) so no wonder this works better. Gonna look into that asap for my public script.

During the double xp Weekend, pretty happy with that as just wanted some quick levels, that was on a law Esshound as well. I had the exact same problem as you did with Esswrath with not being a high enough level!

Nice release, and good progress reports! You should go through and clean up the variables and constants ;)

Thought I'd lend a helping hand, because I'm pretty bored at the moment.

Although I haven't got around to properly completing a RuneSpan script yet here's my method of siphoning detection I used in mine (no offense, but your waiting function would often crap itself since XP may not always be gained over that waiting period).

EDIT: I forgot to mention, but you set the colours to detect the white part of the smoke-swirl that occurs in the playerBox. Here's an example use with the colours for the smoke-swirl already set:

You can set the waitloop lower if need be.

the script stopped because it entered my username in twice and it couldn't log in so it terminated.

I'm currently experiencing a problem. My RS window starts to flash black every otehr second and my character just stands there. Did I make a mistake in something?

EDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out. And another problem popped up. Its only siphoning the Chaos Storm, and just stands there and waits for another to pop up. Is there a way to fix this?

For me it doesn't realize that RS has loaded, and the game window just flashes…

For anyone with problems not related to script operation, please check your setup.
This script runs on directX so make sure your plugin and everything else is also setup correctly.
(One would assume at the Junior Level this stuff was kind of a given ;P)

Also added a higher level version for your higher level boys out there

Read the OP, dude:

If you're too low level to siphon a certain node, just comment it out in IdentifyTarget.

If you don't know how to comment things out, at least try to use the search function to learn how first. You could have your answer in less that two minutes. Don't be lazy.

HINT: There is an example of how to do it within the script already.

The first script is working well for me on the middle level.

I get this error when running, over and over and it doesn't do anything.

getXP was added into the latest include, so the function doesn't need to be defined within the script anymore. Delete the that function and your error will go away.

EDIT:

After getting script to run, and work, it somehow wants to keep clicking on the icon appeared in the top left corner.(Purple one(BOTTOM)) Not too sure what it is, know it has something to do with Runespan, however do not know how to disable or hide it..

That's probably an issue with your colors. It thinks that icon is something that can be siphoned. Read the debug when it tries to click on it. It'll probably say something like "Identified EXAMPLE," with example being the name of what thinks it has identified. That will be your trouble maker. If there are multiple of them, then it's probably the node/esswraith that isn't actually visible on your screen.

In order to fix it, you'll either need to change the colors for that node/esswraith, shrink its FindColorTolerance box, or just completely comment it out.

Is there a setting to make it siphon the soul esswraith all the way through? So we don't run out of rune ess. Or do it pick up new ess for us?

Uh….. I don't think air nodes are included in this since it assumes your RC is somewhat leveled lolol.
I'm not sure if this script will work for such low levels because it requires you staying stationary on a small island. The esslings are all on the gigantic islands so your xp/h would prob be even worse.
You could try adding air essling and whatever air node there is in identifytarget them and commenting out everything else

For some reason it goes failed to grab parameters

EDIT: Okay so it was giving me that, i even tried redling, then i ran another script assuming maybe there was an update and simba cant grab the parameters for now or something, but then the other script worked, so i figured oh well, since i have smart up maybe this one can just work using it. So i run this script again and it works, opening up its own client though of course

This is legit. I'm only around 80 RC but I feel confident enough in this to leave it overnight and it hasn't disappointed! I think it sometimes clicks the bloody skulls when I am too low for them, but it does realize it isn't siphoning and fixes itself up fine. Definitely gonna probably use this to get my RC to 90/91/99.

Good script also after a siphon when it has to siphon hounds it will right click the platform a few times then decide to siphon but awesome script saving me lots of time :)

I think I ended up using ClaritysEsswraith. I havent runecrafted sense.

I just got my rc skillcape mostly from V2 of this script! Thanks!!!

Used this for at least 20 hours over the weekend, getting 72k xp/hr at 95 rc with bonus nodes :P. Still works very well although it could probably be refined a bit.

Hey all, found Rlagk's LazySiphon in the RS3 Jr. SRL members section. I edited it, changed some colors, added some only F2P nodes and it's working pretty stable. I hope he doesn't mind. ;) This script requires atleast 33 RC to access the second level of RuneSpan. I recommend going to an island that only has body esshounds on it. Specially, I use this one:

It will siphon body esshounds unless other nodes are found first. (fleshy growths, fireballs, fire storms, vines, rock fragments, and water pools.)

I roughly get 28k/hr, which is realistically, pretty good for only F2P RuneSpan. Feel free to look over the script and give me any advice or opinions on it. Please note all the code is credited to Rlagk, except for the colors I changed.

So it siphons creatures and nodes based on your rc level? My rc is only 10 or 20.

You need to probably switch your graphics mode to DirectX/OpenGL in the SMART client, if it's in safe mode it won't work.

np, it's actually a very common issue that I find isn't explained very well in any of the tutorials.

had to delete living soul, because when you are on the middle floor the icon of the middle floor has the same colours as the living soul, meaning he tries to right click all the time

Well you're losing xp ha, there is this icon you can use it to grab colors and make living soul work again :)

i am going to put in in again but i dont have 95 rc yet, so it doesn't matter at the moment

of course. I use this island, and I zoom in until it only can see the one island I am on, because it will siphon things on other islands if it can view them.

Yeah, I tried the script but it was too bot-like. Maybe I will, but I work on an other project now.

Look at the debug box, and note the line that is printed when the script attempts to interact with the object you don't want.

Then open up the script and Ctrl+F for the name of the object, you'll find it in identifyTarget() and the code is nicely spaced w/comments so you should have no problem picking it out.
Once you know where it is, comment it out or delete it.

When i run it, keeps throwing errors about client size being incorrect.. and swapping something. But it keeps running just fine nonetheless.

Running V2 now that im on the third floor of Runespan. I changed the wait value from 4000 to 25000 because if not it keeps clicking on the esswraith and it makes it so that it never dies therefore I don't get anymore rune essence. So if people ar having that problem change the wait time to 25000 and then change the wait time for the script to execute change to 60000 so that it doesn't stop running half way through siphoning something. Also, if you are changing to death esswraiths I use this colour for esswraith 1 (7714727) and this one for esswraith 2 (8176556) so that it doesn't matter what way they are facing. Also sorry RlagkRud for changing quite a bit. I'm sure the original would work a lot better when i get to the soul esswraiths :). Also going around your script has made me want to try to learn a bit of scripting. There are soo many scripts that are waiting to be made.

Or you can move the XP bar to the correct location, where it is visible. Found it much easier than editing all of the code :P.

Hm, I take my words back then. Had the same issue of it repeating to siphon the nodes or NPCs but after I moved it, problems went away.

The progress prints are kind of buggy,

usually shows the wrong xp/hr

it doesnt even show xp for me lol.

Edit: I love this script and want to thank you for making it, I've gained about 13 levels so far (56-69) and am slowly but surely working my way up!

Short proggy for you, script is working great! Had to adjust some targets for lower levels, and the xp is showing about 30% of the time, but no complaints here :D Thanks for your work on this script. Will hopefully update with longer proggy.

Honestly I'm not sure. For the xp to work, what I did was reset the runecrafting counter to 0, it seems to help read it better when you do this. As for the xp, I don't know. I followed the advice about picking a law island at 54 or whenever you're allowed to siphon them, and then edited the findTargets to all available nodes. I'm 100% positive that there was no bonus exp in runecrafting. Maybe it was just a lucky hour? I stayed at law island, by the way, choosing not to go to the top level until 77 probably.

yeah 49k/hr is really good lol. im 83rc and I don't think im getting anymore than maybe 55k/hr lool. But i changed quite a bit lol

For some reason can siphon everything cept law creature.

Thank you for the effort you put into the script, I updated the colours and duplicated a few of the "if FindColorTolerance" so that there was multiple colours for some of the esswraiths/nodes.
Only 75 at the moment but should get 99 with this in no time at all.

If you guys are having problems not detecting wraiths and so forth, just update the colours.

tried your suggestion, but for some reason just can't get this script to work… I'm using the player manager for the script, so I put in the name of my army and the username/email of my acocunt. Is there something im missing?

You need to enter the world you want to be on… before the semicolon, literally type your world in on line 34. Even if you comment out that line, it should still compile… You should definitely read through the Mayor's guides on scripting, they will easily allow you to fix simple errors in any script you try to use (even if you're too intimidated/don't plan to write a script yourself).

windows cannot find 'c:/program files (x86)/java/jre7/bin/java.exe'. make sure you type the name correctly, and then try again.

any help or guidance would be greatly appritiated.

It basically said what you had to do. Just install 32 bit java version and you're good to go.

I just dont get an option of what bit to install when i install simba.

Hey! Thanks for the script, its working great! But only issue I'm having is that it does not reload runescape after the 6 hour limit, but no problems, i dont go over 6 anyway :P. I will post a good proggy :)

some feedback about the script.
It just keeps searching around clicking on things to try and siphon, on the mid lvl, I tried the whole single island zoom in for law siphoning and that didn't work. So just put him on an island and same was just clicking everywhere but still once in a while grabbed something and siphoned that. Now on top floor and can not find a good place besides just putting him in the middle of an island and letting him go. I am sure it is probably something to do with the way I have set it up but if anyone could give me some further tips, that would be most appreciated.
Thank you again for the script and obviously it is doing some work there, now I am just looking to improve xp/h :)
Also as stated above it did not load past the 6 hour mark on a previous run.

really just sounds like a java path issue, etc.
uninstall/reinstall java, make sure your path is set correctly.

since this isn't a problem specific to this script, I'd recommend posting on another thread more related to setting up simba.

Probably you didnt set up your player properly in the player form, or you gave the wrong nickname/playerfile name in the script so that it doesn't match up with the player form.

Something I noticed while running this script: it will occasionally run out of essence. When this happens it can no longer siphon, but it continues to try indefinitely.

did you start out with 150+ essence? if yes, try 500+. doesn't take too long

Very good script,only thing is i needed to babysit it due to it constantly ran out of rune ess,i tryed even with 2k of em in inv.
Whenever fire storm,vine etc.come it switches over to that from my laws .. kinda depends on luck .. do they appear or not.. anyway little 4h 26m proggy.
