Is there any way for me to run two account on my computer while having each one under a different IP? I don't know much of anything about VPNs or VMs so any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not under the impression that a VM or VPN would allow this from the same computer, however it does remain possible to do so, although it would require more custom effort than I believe any of us would want to put forth in order to fake the outgoing IP from every single packet a Runescape client is sending.

I also can't recall offhand if headers are encrypted in traffic; if they are it would also require a custom hacked Runescape client for that purpose, I believe.

So pretty much it's much simpler to just get my old computer up and running again and use a VPN on it :p

You can run a virtual machine, inside of that vm you run a vpn and your bot.

Sounds good to me :) Thanks

Edit: What's a good VM to use?

Well, I'd say you should go with virtualbox.

Virtualbox is what I use, however it is not the best for botting :P

Headers are never encrypted. if they were then it would be pointless as the data could never get transferred to its location.

Headers are encrypted in HTTPS. Only thing that isn't encrypted is the host address and port number. Same can be done for many protocols.

:O I guess they are, just logically thought they wouldn't be.

Why do you say that, if I might ask?

Please explain, what features does VirtualBox lack that are needed for botting?

I don't mean a lack of features, I should have elaborated more. I meant that botting a VM is not the best, at least it does not work well with my computer. Lags a bit more than normal.. Virtualbox is fine for botting in a VM.

I use Vmware workstation with vpn. Vmware is pretty expensive but you can find it for free(my school bought a license and I requested it from our technology department). While on this topic, a lot of high schools(like mine) and colleges might own a license to different programs like Microsoft office, windows 8, photoshop, etc. it's just a matter of asking your tech department for a license code(I would recommend everyone to do this because you really have nothing to lose).

You can use softwares like TOR and change i.p for each different java client

i dont think thats possible since tor only configures to browsers. But, if you could configure tor properly to the client, then yes that would be the answer you are looking for.

Yes, running a virtual machine (vmware or virtualbox) with a vpn seems your best bet or buying a vps and putting a vpn on it. Might be a bit costly! Does anyone know if there is a way to use proxies on simba? I've heard there is!
