    2. Input the playername "NickName" in the file "playerfile" you want to use, hit add
    3. If using breaks, how long to run until you take a break?
    4. If using breaks, how long to break for?
    5. Which world do you want to login to? 0 is Random
    6. Take breaks?
    7. Switch worlds after you break?
    8. Will logout if it sees a mod is near for a few minutes

Idk whats going on, and I think it's because of SMART, but when I start the script it starts to log in. Then SMART just totally disappears. It happens at random points in the log in process. I know it has nothing to do with the script. I tried updating Simba and that didn't do anything. Any advice?

Edit: nvm I found the thread for it and turns out that it seems to be a runescape problem not a simba problem.

Not that have been reported or anything. Only thing I could ever see happen is a missclick putting you out of position… but the way I designed it - that shouldn't happen. Couple 20 hr proggies above though

Sometimes it does not click the bottom left plant in the corner. I'm not sure why, it fertilizes the soil, but does not cure the plant.

Pretty cool Ashaman, job well done. Does this script use OGL models for determining which strain a diseased plant is? I'm glad to see another script available for this minigame, it was surely in demand since RS3. :thumbsup:

Nope just the similar method as you used to use, based on which box the plant is in

hard to post a screenie of mouse-overs. I did turn debug on and got spam bombed with debug.

want to teamviewer? i can do a presentation and present my display.

your script ran for 12 minutes before sitting all night long stuck… I pm'd you details i don't like posting on the forums. This is something i'm gonnna use a bit so i'll help troubleshoot :P

EDIT:

Okay, here's a screenie. The script successfully fertilized each patch and cured 2 plants. However, it never cured the 3rd plant and went through loops of check different plots for mouseover text until the next livid cycle. Just looks botty:

HERE are two more pics. It never got the last livid and it also found false positives a lot. I'm running with dx debug enabled so i can see what is happening better.

last edit:
video showing two false positives. sometimes there are many more. it always loops over the false positives until the livid cycle repeats.

[video=youtube;p5GQsCrD1Kw]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5GQsCrD1Kw[/video]
I took a video. right after the vid it logged out and quit. I didn't see it log out so i don't know what happened. at anyrate, here's the debug:

getting too much info…

Is your farmgrid off or?? since it isn't a perfect birds eye view of the game you may need to create 3 rows of boxes instead of a gridbox… I'd be interested in hearing more. I'll read into your script a bit.

i generally make it as small as possible while still covering the black void… otherwise i'd have to edit the game screen and that would throw EVERYTHING off(off center for other scripts by stretching playing area), no?

edit:

making the chatbox smaller just reveals black unless like i said i actually edit the game interface. Which i'm not going to do just to use one script.
I did try it though, gridboxes are still off and player position changes things stretch so i'm not into changing the game play area size per script.

EDIT:
Your script just opened the home tele interface. no idea how, but the script was still running when i took this screeny:

I need to get back to work so i'll stop testing this for now. thanks for looking into this stuff asha

since the camera will never be perfectly north i don't know why you chose to use gridBox? Why not have search areas based on the boundry around the alotments? looks like that'd be easy:

I'm interested rectangles that don't have to be aligned. Tboxes are so limited.

Ashaman88

2014-02-06 09:20:48

haha i have no idea how you are getting it to do this…

all ya have to do to move the chatbox is unlock interfaces, drag down chatbox down, drag action bar down, then re-lock… and it still looks like you may not be zoomed out all the way… try scrolling that middle mouse button down some more.. going to add that to the setup procedures

Naw not at work, I can do it later tonight though. All I can say is that for those who setup the script right those gridboxes should be perfectly over the spots :/ based on your pic either you edited the gridbox or something is up w/ your interface/not zoomed in all the way… but we can just figure it out tonight

i didn't edit anything in your script. right after you created the gridbox put:

smartImage.drawBoxes(farmGrid, false, -1);
wait(1000);//So i could see it before you re-drew things.

I assume that any script on SRL can be run if you select the "old school" layout and don't touch ANYTHING else. However, for your script i did test making the chatbox smaller.
Maybe you've edited your gameplay area before?

I see this is kind of bothering you as we don't know what the issue is and it works for others, often.

haha yeah I'm not sure what would be causing that and I really don't think it's the chatbox. Kevin was having the same issue last night and it was just b/c of the zoom (he really wasn't zoomed all the way out…), but we can check it out tonight :/

What the heck who knew about that haha. Does rs3 one not zoom out as much?

Nubzor

Classic is abit tilted, RS3 is more on top of the character than usual, thats why the grid is having problems.

did you specify classic? rs3 was defaulted on my account. every script i've written or done anything SRL related with was with rs3 zoom… dammit, i never noticed this before.. this could explain a LOT…

Asha, I suggest whichever has the best "birds eye view" be the default. even if i have to re-write mainscreen stuff.

can we determine a site wide standard? I suggest RS3 just because of the higher view angle, but i'd like to hear other's input.

Eh that's ok, enough of it to ID it at least. Plus those fluffy parts of the flows shift a little making it riskier to left click on (missclicked a few times when I had it randomly click any part of the plant)

It's an issue with how you filled in the playerform (specifically you're players). Mind showing me what your filled in form looks like? And also a pic of the playerfile opened with playermanager?

Sure, I'll send you a pm in a minute.

You just gotta switch the graphics mode to dx though? Does it just say that plugin fails or what?

OGL graphics are bugging out big time which could be the cause of your issue… but still shouldn't happen

@Ashaman88, I stood inside Livid Farm and ran this test script for about five minutes and it never failed. So it may actually be something else, or it just happened to never fail on this test run.

procedure mainLoop;
begin
mouseMovingObject();
wait(200);
end;

For it to fail it would have to be either left-clicking randomly outside (which isn't in this antiban procedure anywhere, so something else) or right clicking late (after the Suqah has moved away, so the options that appear are Walk here and Cancel) and selecting "walk here" for some reason which seems equally unlikely. Not sure what's up.

Hey Asha,

Thought I should let you know a problem that has been happening with this script.

In OpenGL mode, for some reason the script pauses and no movement in the mouse occurs. It sits there when there is still 9 minutes till the break begins. Also, there is a random point in which the script rakes the player to the top left corner and terminates the script while the player is on the shore.

Not sure why these happen. I have updated everything.

Thanks.

Doesn't have anything to do with antiban, I totally disabled the mousemovingobject and it still ran outside. Wasn't around to see exactly what happened. Running northwest could indicate that it was clicking on a 0, 0 coordinate or something i.e. some x, y failed to calculate? No idea really, just throwing out ideas.

Yeah I've got failsafes in mind that should prevent anything like that in the future. It's all about that farmgrid and doing workarounds for lape/simba bugs

Ah, glad that you've figured it out so I guess this doesn't apply anymore, but anyway, I checked the bot at just the right time. Just saw the script give the error and terminate after boredhuman(true); was called (after the camera rotated a bunch of times). Going to try running the script without boredhuman(). Didn't run anywhere outside though so that might be a separate issue.

It probably clicks (0,0) on the main screen hence why it moves northwest, i.e. at some point an x, y point is calcing wrong for some reason. Have not seen the bug personally except after it's already moved, so I don't know this for sure :\

I'll let the pro handle it ;D

So these forums aren't letting me post or send any messages to anyone. I require some help from someone. I am requesting a script. Here is the request I made. It isn't letting me send it as a message or post as a new topic. Can someone try to do it? Thanks

I am requesting a script that stands in the seers flax spot and picks the flax and drops immediately. Picking gives 1 xp, and if you do it fast, one can get 50k farming exp an hour. This is good for those pesky quests that no one likes training farming for. Hopefully this will be made :D And it should use the actionbar to drop so that you can just pick and drop simultaneously. It should just scan the flax, and repeatedly click it, picking it up. As it is picking it will be dropping at a faster rate, and there you go, 99 farming in 260 hours. Can this script also have a login thing for after 6 hours? Thanks. Peace

While that sounds impressive off the numbers you give; that's wrong. No way anyone could get 50k xp/hr doing that. that means he picks up and drops 50k flax. That would be 14/second. And Runescape limits you to something more like 1/second. So it's more like 3k xp/hr. And since we have a script (this) that gets 11 times that already, I don't see why someone would want that.

Solution is I think its line 546
MouseBox(Strain,Mouse_LEFT);

replaced with this, which is changing it to right-click:
MouseBox(Strain,Mouse_RIGHT);
if chooseOption.select(['ontinue', 'Conti', 'tinue']) then

After this you will see it will right-click on 0,0 and not ruin the script running :P

" Exception in Script: Runtime error: "Runtime error: "List index (16) out of bounds" at line 445, column 58 in file "C:\Simba\Includes\srl-6\lib\misc\srlplayerform.simba"" at line 930, column 7 in file "C:\Simba\Includes\srl-6\lib\misc\srlplayerform.simba"

I noticed that it was addressed before, maybe the same answer will work? Although, didnt notice it posted on this thread. (maybe in PM's)

Not sure, I think it's because I paused it and maybe moved it. :S

It was running flawlessly for atleast 10 hours on OGL.

Edit: I also set the bot to take 45 minute breaks every 3 1/2 hours..

Clarity

2014-03-12 00:56:07

Interesting technique, I was babysitting the bot (flawless btw) and noticed people popping in and out to cast spells and then log out.

I asked what they were doing, and apparently quick hopping is a very viable tactic, because changing worlds is ~5 seconds and the 30+ second wait time is completely bypassed, potentially doubling XP/hr.

Might be worth looking into, for now I'm going to try modifying the script myself to quickhop.

Oh where you have people added to your friends list or w/e? Have you seen that the farm resets when you hop?

I think in general, world hopping no longer has a timer. You don't have to quickhop using the friends list. You can just log out, choose another world, and it logs in instantly.

Oh dang when did they remove this!?

Clarity

2014-03-12 15:46:20

World hopping doesn't reset the farm, the farm timer is world specific, not player specific. These guys basically find 2 worlds that are in perfect sync with each other so that they can hop and cast spells constantly with no waiting period. Idk if it's worth looking into.

great script! had to change the cases in line 790 and 792 to true and false and remove the terminate script command to get it to work. (the boxes match up everytime anyways :p). Question though, does this script award you produce points? Because the whole point of this was for me to get enough produce points to unlock craft leather spell so I can write a leather crafter script.

Sorry I posted on first page of thread I didn't realize other people were having the same problem :P. You can either take out the entire logical from line 789 to the end at 796 (or comment it out with //) or what I did is change 790 to true and 792 to false and and lines 791,793,and 795 to writeln('Ok then here we go!') so that no matter what case it is it will just print Ok then here we go! and run. It looks like this:
case MessageBox('Do these boxes cover all the correct plant slots?', 'LividFarmSetup', 3) of
true:
Writeln('Ok then here we go!');
false:
Writeln('Ok then here we go!');
else
Writeln('Ok then here we go!');
end;
Hope that helps!

Tesseract doesn't really need new tesseract, just other stuff does… but they will both be done at the same time.. so kinda :P

You will also be able to use message dialogs in new simba, so even better than a message box :P

91.8 Farming XP per spellcast, maximum XP rate is 33,048 Farming xp/hr, or 183.6 Farming XP per spellcast and 66,096 Farming xp/hr with bonus experience.

12 cycles per hour, with 15 Fertilize Soil and 15 Cure Plant spellcasts per cycle

= 180 Fertilize Soil/hr, 180 Cure Plant/hr

Fertilize Soil Cost = 3 astral runes, 2 nature runes (3 * 307gp + 2 * 314gp = 1549gp)
Cure Plant Cost = 1 astral rune (1 * 307gp = 307gp)

Spellcast cost/hr = (1549 * 180) + (307 * 180) = 278820 + 55260 = 334,080gp/hr

Level 99 = 13,034,431 XP

Hours to 99 (Normal) = 394.409
Hours to 99 (Bonus XP) = 197.204

Cost to 99 (Normal) = 394.409 * 334,080 = 131,764,159gp
Cost to 99 (Bonus XP) = 197.204 * 334,080 = 65,881,912gp

Which graphics mode are yall in? Are there any other players nearby?

I think *crosses fingers* life has calmed down a bit (work work work, family family, social stuff I have to do do do), so I should get back to scripting/devving soon enough. I haven't even logged in for like 3 weeks!

I constantly watch my account bot and I have only run into that error a couple times.
It's caused by the bot misclicking on the plant and your character ends up running towards it. Sometimes it moves to a spot where it cannot see all of the plants and the bot will stop and shoot that error. I just move my character back to the original spot and start it again. Not a big deal at all.

Ahh I see. Did you happen to catch if it was a soil spot or a cure plant one?

FYI update coming that should fix the missclick or at least recover from it. And putting an option to only use right click so it won't ever happen

v1.6 - added option to only right click spots, added some colors, added failsafe for missclick, other logic fixes

There may be an issue regarding the playerform and this script, as I had a very similar error which I have not previously received using your other scripts (such as ape atoll agility). Unfortunately I can't be more specific (or helpful) than that, because I forgot how it worked exactly. However, restarting the script and using a previously made playerform should fix the problem.

Also, if you do use a previously made one, it reads the values incorrectly, such as turning the world into the number of minutes until a break, for example.

That aside, thanks for the amazing script!

EDIT:

Also, here's a nice proggy

That's with an older version? Everytime the form changes it should force you to redo the player form… let me know if it happens again for you!

Hmm, maybe I'm only making this more confusing. I'm going to try and recreate it so I can be more precise for you.

Edit:

Looking at your form swapping values from the two different forms (one being Livid Farm, the other Ape Atoll) that pop up, I realized that this is a name collision of the "settings.txt" file your scripts create. It swaps the two different forms, and will check and uncheck the different boxes.

Example:

Livid
Min until break: 69
Min to break: 321
World: 2

Ape Atoll
World: 69
Min until break: 321
Min to break: 2

Additionally, I was finally able to make these appear consistently:

Ape Atoll: Exception in Script: Runtime error: "Access violation" at line 1419, column 40
Livid Farm: Exception in Script: Runtime error: "Access violation" at line 1265, column 7 in file "C:\Simba\Includes\SRL-6\lib\core\players.simba"

The Ape Atoll one occurs after you try to incorrectly add a player name to your playerform. So if the name in the rafiki file is "Ashaman88" and I then open Ape Atoll and add "Ashaman" to the playerform and then attempt to run the script, it breaks. But, if you then remove that player from the form, and put in a name that is correct (Ashaman88) and run it, it works fine. But what makes it weird is that after you've made it run with a correct name, you can then delete that player and add any name you want, and it will continue to run fine.

The Livid Farm one follows the same pattern as the one above.

However, because these two scripts share certain files, making one work makes the other work, and making one break makes the other break.

Something to note: the Ape Atoll error happens instantly and SMART does not load, while the Livid Farm one happens once the RS login screen has finally loaded. That, coupled with the fact that it gives you a different error message, made me believe that it was two separate errors, but it doesn't seem to be.

Can someone test out whether they randomized the livid strains after this update? If they did, people running this script will go from 100% accuracy to 25% accuracy and be easily caught.

Try for 5 minutes and see if it works haha. It will be pretty clear if they changed stuff and even legit people would be confused at first since it's been this way for years

I heard some rumors, that's all. If it still works, it still works. It doesn't make much sense for them to randomly change it without at least a patch notes announcement. Didn't mean to cause any alarm :p

It's complex enough when doing legit as it is. If plants we're randomized, i wouldn't know what to click… the plants look mostly all alike to me. It be a pain. Unless there were a "pattern" to the randomness.

Have you thought about adding functionality for stringing the bunched livids in the bin next to the logs (then putting them in the trade cart)? It would greatly increase produce point income if you did. I may try and figure it out myself here pretty soon…

I plan on posting a report here in a few hours.

I'm actually having a problem now. It doesn't seem to be finding the correct boxes at the script, it produces 5 each row of livids, but on the second and third one down, it just becomes too compact, and fails to reach the right ends.

EDIT: It's also now not choosing the correct strand to cure on any plants in the farthest right bottom box. Though, it may be because the box problem above.

Ah yeah, the plots line up now. But now it's just constantly mis-identifying the strand in the bottom third plots(top right and bottom right types seem to be most commonly mistaken, but all have been before).

EDIT:

I seem to have got it working… but only after hopping worlds a few times and standing in this spot:

I don't know which part of the debug you want (there is a lot of it), but it seems to be working alright now. Before, the top set of boxes was way too high (when it plots them that first time), but it seems to have corrected itself on its own :\.

This is reasonably reliable but sometimes randomly bugs out (have sent pms with pictures of this) after a few hours, few being completely random between 0.5 and 7, it may actually have to do with my outfit though from further testing. Otherwise the only weird thing I see is that when I try to run the script without a SMART client open, it spawns two instead of one, I don;t get this behavior with other scripts but it's still nothing big.

I'm not sure one rune wikia it says 'Also, Farming cost per XP is about 5.5 coins. You get 2.4 XP per produce point and you get about 13K produce points an hour and since about 690,000 coins is 55,000 points, this makes the cost at about 5.5 coins per XP in Farming.'

I've been using this script for a while and I love it, two notes:

If you are getting the error where your screen wigs out, just set it to take frequent brakes, you may miss out on some xp, but you dont have to babysit.

and 2:

I wouldnt begin to know how to do it, but if you go to cure a livid, maybe capture the box that says this is not the correct strain of livid, and then pick another one? sometimes I get stuck on the same strain of livid for 60 secs. Also, with that, possibly fertilize soils first, to avoid xp lost in that issue.

3: Love this script, couldn't do without it.

on the topic of the second point, the wiki has a nice layout showing which livids grow where, about halfway down the page.
I'd link the wiki but cant yet.

thanks again.

Some bugs that I've ran into was that it sleeps way too long when there are plants to be cured and fertilized and also, it chooses the wrong strain of livid occasionally.
Edit: Another bug would be that it chooses a plant to cure, but then it would not choose a strain of livid. It would then click on another plant/fertilize then come back to the original plant.

Beautiful, thank you for that. Now we just have the 'no black found' issue to deal with, as it's not curing livids. Will keep looking into this. Could this be a matter of colors needing updating?

Begin
print('entering findlivid');
If Not IsLoggedIn Then
Exit;

findColorsTolerance(tpa, 2368542, SearchBox, 5,colorSetting(2,10.00,1.08)); //blackpart

ATPA := TPA.Cluster(15,25);

SetLength(TPA,0);

atpa.filterBetween(0, 15);

If (Length(ATPA) = 0) Then
Begin
Print('No black found.');
Exit;
End;

I apologize for posting prematurely, I will keep researching exactly how this is working (not working ha).

If you want to do some debugging and instantly figure out what part is wrong, try the following code:

Begin
print('entering findlivid');
If Not IsLoggedIn Then
Exit;

findColorsTolerance(tpa, 2368542, SearchBox, 5,colorSetting(2,10.00,1.08)); //blackpart
Writeln('TPA Length: ' + toStr(length(TPA));

ATPA := TPA.Cluster(15,25);
Writeln('ATPA Length - After Cluster: ' + toStr(length(ATPA));

SetLength(TPA,0);

atpa.filterBetween(0, 15);
Writeln('ATPA Length - After Filter: ' + toStr(length(ATPA));

If (Length(ATPA) = 0) Then
Begin
Print('No black found.');
Exit;
End;

Here's 3 scenarios I can think of that will happen:

1) TPA Length = 0. That means the color isn't found and all you need to do is update the color using ACA.
2) ATPA Length After Cluster = 0. This means the dimensions of the shape (I have no idea what you're even looking for haha) have changed and you will need to figure out what new parameters to use. I don't use TPA.Cluster but I assume that's length/height measurements (x/y), so fiddle with it as required until it works.
3) ATPA Length After Filter = 0. (If length after cluster > 0). This means all your ATPA points are being filtered out for being too small. You're either not finding enough of the color or your cluster dimensions are too small.

You can also add the following:

SmartImage.DebugTPA(TPA);

Put that under the "TPA Length" Writeln that I've given and it will show you all the points on the TPA. If nothing shows up then it isn't finding black and the writeln will say length = 0. That function might also not be exactly right, I can never remember the proper drawing functions…

Okay here's what we get with that

-- entering findlivid
TPA Length: 0
ATPA Length - After Cluster: 0
ATPA Length - After Filter: 0
-- No black found.
-- PlantPresent. 37
-- entering findlivid
TPA Length: 89
ATPA Length - After Cluster: 1
ATPA Length - After Filter: 1
-- BlackPlant Length: 89 for I:= 0
-- DeadFlower Length: 151 for I:= 0
-- {X = 286, Y = 316}
-- 41
-- isMouseOverText()
---- Current mouse-over text: "Cure-plant Diseased livid"

-- Found plant, Clicking.

---- Found option "Cure" in "Cure-plant Diseased livid"
-- TRSChooseOption.select() result = true
-- No black found.
-- entering findlivid
TPA Length: 56
ATPA Length - After Cluster: 1
ATPA Length - After Filter: 1
-- BlackPlant Length: 56 for I:= 0
-- DeadFlower Length: 99 for I:= 0
-- {X = 230, Y = 223}
-- 18

I've tried experimenting with new colors, but I'm curious exactly what 'black' we are supposed to be finding. It seems that even when it finds the color, it just moves on to the next livid without trying to 'solve' it.

I do see that it tried clicking once, but if you didn't see it click then that's sortof weird. I can't say for sure what color you're looking for, but luckily it looks like it's the color and not the sorting options. You should be able to use ACA to find a unique color on the livids that it can look for. Probably something dark since it's supposed to be "black".

2015-03-28 10:57:08

I tried to do some colour detection on this and the issue with the "black" is not to do with finding the uncured plant. It clicks on it but then it can't decide what plant it is to cure (out of the 4 options). This is a little out of my very limited realm. So if someone could shine some insight or point me in the right direction, it would be MUCH appriciated :)
