Update Form Designer to support lape?

Any plans to update the form designer to support lape?

With no working form designer, no documentation on lape forms, and no code completion as it stands now it is virtually impossible to design forms.

A more robust forms designer would be nice as well. It is pretty bare bones at the moment.

I second this. Currently the only way to learn how to makes forms is by reading the SRL player form and going from there.

I wouldn't say its impossible, it you just add set/get before anything msg.caption := 'hello'; > msg.setCaption('hello');

Lape forms are pretty basic to say the least

Bit off topic but I never really liked using the automatically generated form designer simply because the output code is long and bulky :(

Yeah, but people who have never used a form before (like myself) could learn the methods and everything by looking at the automatically generated code.

Although I would like to I have yet to use this tool, but if it doesn't support Lape then I also agree with the OP.

I always felt that forms are really unnececary… Would rather spend the time getting the actual script running like a well oiled machine.

Playerform is setup to do really all I would need, but yeah it would still be nice to have this supported for others.

Now if only this method actually worked. Most properties I tried it fails to compile if you use setSomeProperty.

The point is there is zero documentation on the forms. No auto complete to give you hint on how to use the forms. No working form designer to generate code you can study. One simple example (playerform) that doesn't touch on all the properties/methods. I know! I'll just generate a form using the designer and study that. Oh, wait.

Well, the amount of time you're going to put into a slayer script, I'd say you can just as easily put equal or less time into a form and do it manually until Lape gets an overhaul, no?

You'd learn more doing a form manually.
