Hi, I was wondering if SMART could be used with other things other that RS, I know how to change the URL so it points towards another website but every time I change something I just get errors. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks

SMART was purely made for RS, So i very much doubt you could get it working for anything else just by changing the link.

Well…it would be more accurate to say it's made purely for loading a RS-based client. S.M.A.R.T 8.3 has the ability to also load up RSPS as it so happens. But if you'd like to take a look we also have Appa for Simba which is, if I might quote Nielsie95 directly, "A Minimizeable WebClient".

Looking at appa it says will only work on x86. So guessing no good on x64?

Yes it just won't make full use of all the cores on the system.

No. Not all 32-bit code can run on x64. Especially if the 32-bit prog requires loading a 32-bit version of a shared library. There's sometimes address issues associated with 32bit code on x64 processors. Pro-Engineering Wildfire 5 x86 is a prime example. Only the x64 can be run on x64.

Some x64 computers will not allow 32-bit programs to run on it. Most usually do, but not all will or can.
