Botwatch?

So my question is…. Is there anything out there that describes how botwatch works or is Fagex keepin that stuff under wraps. I've been doing a little of my own research to try and better understand it, but there's not much out there on it. Except for different videos of Jacmob talking about how cool he is and its the next best thing since sliced cheese? Any links anyone can provide, insight or thoughts about how it works?

You mean Jagex*? Around here we actually respect Jagex; Well back on topic, it's pretty obvious that Jagex has set up multiple ways to detect if you are a bot or not. No one is really sure though which technique they are using. I believe that they look for obvious repetitive actions that do not consist of any randomness.

The only official teasers they've mentioned about Botwatch is that it is currently working only in specific areas of Runescape, like that Dungeoneering place. Any other theories on this system is purely speculation.

Once again P1nky is absolutely right. There's no need to degrade Jagex. Calling them 'fagex' is one of the very few things on this forum that bugs me, please don't…

jacmob that traitor… he used to have the best botting website, and when jagex did the massive bot ban and changed something in the game it ruined all bots, his was up and running the next day, every other site was down for 4 months +, so jagex offered him a salary job to work for them, and he spilled all the beans, secrets, tips and tricks of botting and over night jagex went from without a clue, to all knowing super genius and ever since then Botting has never been the same, as far as the comfort of knowing your account is safe. now days you actually have to be prepared to lose the account your botting on, back then i would bot mains with full bank without worry.

Eh I would of done the same thing, so would 99% of people. You are working for free/near free, on lets be honest something that wouldn't stand the test of time. Or he could get a job with Jagex that paid for his education and then continues to pay him as an employee.
I still (Well a few months ago, got tired of it) bot 24/7 without breaks on a maxed main with over 4b in bank, no bans, not even a warning…

It all depends on the quality of your script, the one I was using for that was a script only two people had access to (Demisesythe, and well me). …lol slayer script :D

First off, Jacmob did not have RSBuddy running the next day, it took him around the length of a week to update. And he was surely not the only one to do this. Pockets from Sythe also successfully had his private reflection bot up and running at the same time Jacmob did but his was distributed to a very small amount of people at a very high price. And for the record, Simba was still running and SRL was effected lightly. The biggest hit we had was temporarily losing SMART (even though Ben said there were certain things, via reflection we could still utilize) and that was very brief.

It really on the script you are using. If has the correct functions, if behaves like a human being, if injects or not on the client. Those small things makes the difference.
There's always that change that you are banned manually, by a JMod.
You can use scripts 24/7, like #[XoL] does, but it really depends on the place you are using, if it's crowded, and if script is well constructed!

first post in a long time.

cheers :)

PS: I do have been banned ONCE! But was not with SRL/Simba.

Really depends on how well the script is written if its written poorly the chance of getting banned is increased.
