It isn't too hard to figure it out, one of my buddies figured it out and it only took him like an hour or so. You just gotta go into the SmartParams.Simba and use common sense, then looking up errors on google, rinse and repeat.

I loaded SMART but clicking does not work.. as the client has no canvas and I have no idea how to fix this.. It uses a MouseEvent on the java Component class but I have to make a canvas somehow. If someone would like to help, please PM me.

You can't just "make a canvas" and expect that work work. All that will do is send clicking to the Canvas and not the Component itself.
Does colour grabbing work?
If colours doesn't work, why worry about clicking? You have a bigger issue at hand. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3857901/how-to-get-a-bufferedimage-from-a-component-in-java
