I logged in my account and then after a few seconds I was immediately taken back to the login screen. I tried to login again and it said I had an invalid password. I tried to change my password by clicking the forgot password button and typed in my username and email. I got an email that directed me to a link to change my password. I typed in my current password and it said I could not change it to what it already was. This is great and all, but when I try to login it says I have an invalid password. The email also doesnt address me by my username. It says "Character Name Unavailable". I can login to other accounts just fine. Any ideas?

When I check for my account of the highscores:

Questions: Was it orginally your account? (could of been recovered)

Anyway it could just be server issues? Or it could be that your account got deleted or banned :/
I'd try again tommorrow

That's exactly what happened to me a few weeks ago when one of my accounts got the 2 day ban + week trade ban.

Damn.. Looks like I got hit by the hammer.

Add the account name after the = in the url then go to that page. It will tell you whether the account is P2P, F2P, or neither (deleted/never existed)

Banned accounts are listed as F2P

I'd suggest sending Jagex an email about it to see what happened, but don't mention botting. It's possible that something messed up on their end.

I think I remember some people on PB or Sythe saying that their accounts were deleted. Can't remember the result though.

Sounds like a botched ban happened.

That seems what has happened. The display/login name that I had is now free.

Looks like you've been banned for botting or another reason and that your name has been deleted for being offensive or trying to RWT it. I'm guessing you've recovered accounts in the past as their blocking you?

From what I've seen on other sites Jagex will turn this into a temp ban, so I think it's just a mistake on their end.
