Nice find. I've been looking for a new game and not liking anything I downloaded so far. Will try…

Looking decent, tho does not seem to have many players.

Fascinating, if we take control now… by the time this thing blows up we will all be set.

already saw some good things: like the map doesnt rotate at all if you rotate your screen, maybe we can make something similar like sps?

edit: take your time now, "rare" names are now still available

Just tried the game and i really enjoyed it!
The only bad thing is there are only 200 players online but the official game released not even 1 month ago.

1 month and 200 players isn't that bad tbh. I'll probably try this out while botting rs3 :)

Honestly if we started scripting, made a large amount of bank now and sold it when the game goes big… We could all have some nice hefty pocket change :p

If one of our Game Masters visits you, please respond to them, if you don't respond in an appropriate time and they deem you to be a bot your account will be suspended from the game for up to a week and a warning issued. If this happens again your account will be permanently suspended from the game.

does this means that if we build a responder we dont get banned?
btw i dont think this game has even got any anti-bot features (like random events or *bot detection*)

@Olly, @core Mind explaining this for me?

This is the SMART document I am modifying to load this:

view-source:https://www.eldevin.com/play

(More specifically the applet.

Any advice is appreciated

Lol.. The game just got released and everyone is trying to break it apart already?

Anyway, I doubt you want to get into a legal battle with them since it uses RSA. Then again, not sure if anything in their client is illegal to break.

Otherwise, have fun:

jar: https://cdn.eldevin.com/2013_12_12-2/gbloader.jar
jApplet class: gbloader/GBLoader.class
codebase: https://cdn.eldevin.com/2013_12_12-2

Doubt smart can load JApplets.. Then again, I don't know..

Oh and just so you know, you're probably going to have to log in just to do anything at all. Including loading the game.

Ex.. Because you cannot view the applet without filling in the following form:

<form action="/auth" method="post">
<input type="email" name="email" value="" />
<input type="password" name="password" value="" />
<input type="checkbox" name="rememberlogin" value="1" checked="true" />
<input type="submit" value="Login" />
</form>

Then your bot is going to have to do that for you:

POST to https://www.huntedcow.com/auth:

email: "youremailhere"
password: "yourpasswordhere"
rememberlogin: "1"

must be done before you can even view the applet page. After that, you can load the applet/japplet.

Example of doing a POST in java..
Fails to auth my fake account but succeeds posting to apple.com :l
Guess I must be posting to the wrong login server.
However, it works for creating accounts.

Never the less, you still have to post to their login server. Just make sure its the right URL. Then load the applet like normal.

We have sections for Non-official Development and Non-Runescape Scripts. You should use those sections first. If this gets more popular we can consider a separate section.

This seems really interesting. Similar mechanics as RuneScape but with some difference in controls and artform.

I was going to say this yesterday and forgot. There's already a section for those Misc. Scripts and really this needs to be proven to be a popular & active area before that.

While this game does look quite interesting, I personally thing that the era of MmoRpg's is starting to end. With how popular Xbox and Ps3/4 are, imo I doubt that any online MmoRpg game will ever be able to be as active as Rs ever was. I hope i'm wrong though, as i've never been a huge fan of console games.

Written in Java, uses an <applet> to embed a .jar

As for the friends requests I'm getting, I'm yet to play the game, I'm learning to write LUA atm so my time is taken up. I might set some time aside soon to test out if SRL6 is any good with it and what's missing.

Pretty interesting game especially because it's written in Java. Does it use OpenGL or DirectX? Doesn't seem lime it does use either of them. Just played for 30 minutes or so. The movement really bothered me as it wouldn't rotate or zoom in when I wanted it to. Barely responds to the arrow keys or am I doing something wrong here..

you are doing something wrong. the game works really smooth for me.
and yes im running this game on a macbook pro retina 13 too, using parallels desktop (windows 7) + java 7.45
if you are running this game on just mac then that could be your problem, i have sometimes trouble like lagg with .jar files on mac.

Yeah the game seems decent enough. I hate how the minimap doesn't let you click all the time if its not on a road or something. No way it will get that big like runescape though like I said with Xbox and all that jazzzz

Got the newest Java 7 version and yeah just running it on OS X Mavericks with Firefox. Game performs pretty well, played it on my external monitor on 1280x720. While also running my rMBP screen and a few other programs.

It runs really smooth but just doesnt seem to register my mousekeys or scrolling at all times. Parallels seems really useful though. I haven't needed Windows so far but will definately need a different OS in the future. That's why I went with the 256GB edition :P Faster write speeds as well.
