Hey,

is Simba able to read special cars like ÄÖÜäöü(unicode in general) using the gettextat function if so. How ?

I couldnt get any special chars to be red correctly.

I tried creating the bitmaps and everything… It just doesnt read it right and converts an Ö to 0 ie.

I think simba doesn't support extended ASCII (or unicode)

program new;
begin
writeln(chr(142));   // this won't write anything

writeln(tostr(ord(''))); // this will make error
end.

Funny thing is that

  writeln('ÄÖÜäöü');    //WORKS
  writeln(ord('Ä'));    // DOESNT
end.    

Anyway to simply implement ext ascii or unicode ?

GetTextAt, no, it doesn't support it.

But Simba supports unicode fine, You can't use Ord, Ord is for the Character type, which is only ASCII.
